Dreams Do come True with thePrizefinder.com
Saturday, March 9, 2019
My husband's dream was always one day to take my young football mad daughter to watch Liverpool football Club at Anfield and sing "You'll Never Walk Alone" at the start of the game.
I don't sleep well at night and always find myself on prize finder entering all the closing entries for the day ahead and saw the prize link for Liverpool Ambassador. I entered thinking I had no chance but that I still had to be in it to win it and then moved on to next competition.
Over breakfast the next morning I mentioned to my husband and youngest; Katie; that I had entered a few Liverpool competitions through the night and that one was to be a mascot. They both laughed and told me I was crazy if I thought I could win that. The week went on and I was caught up with appointments so I hadn't been checking my emails so you can imagine my shock when I listened to my answering machine to hear that I had won match day tickets for the game against Utd , Katie was to be a junior ambassador/ mascot and get a new full LFC kit and asking could I respond to the email sent to confirm attendance. I burst into tears !! I called my husband at work and he didn't believe me, I told my daughter as soon as she got home from school but she thought I was having a joke . Their faces when they read out the email and confirmation together was a memory I will never forget. We had to cancel my husband's Christmas night out, and inform family that they were coming to stay overnight for the game because we live miles away.
On the day of the match I was sat at home with our eldest; Annie watching the TV as our Katie walked out onto the pitch with her head held high. The best part was the camera man settled on Katie as she came out of the tunnel and kept focused on her as she went to line up on pitch with the team. I think our full village was watching for Katie because my phone lit up with messages, texts, family calls , everyone was so pleased for my little star .....and her Dad , who was caught a few times on camera.
My husband was so full of pride for Katie. Katie still says that she feels like she was in a dream. Katie has shown everyone her photos, watched the game over and over with her friends and became a celebrity for the day when she returned to school.
I have won many competitions with the help of the prize finder over the years but I don't think any prize will ever compare to my husband and daughter's memorable Liverpool dream come true. Thank you Prize Finder.Little baby prize
Friday, March 8, 2019
I’ve won so many amazing prizes thanks to the prizefinder including a holiday to LA, holiday to Turkey and Devon, Christian Louboutain shoes, lots of things for my wedding and horse but recently my focus had been on baby things. Well she’s finally here and at Christmas I won a personalised picture with her name on it from Pebble and Bee. They kept my win a secret until she was born as we hadn’t announced the name yet. Even the little wins can be your favourites. This is definitely the best hobby ever!
Diamond Meltdown
Thursday, March 7, 2019
When scouring the prize finder website for some interesting competitions to enter I came across the Diamond Meltdown contest being held in a jewelers. To win you had to guess the correct (or as close to) time that a diamond ring would be released from a gigantic block of ice! By some miracle I was the closest by 7 seconds. I couldn't be happier and neither could my 5 year old daughter who is already telling me it 'fits' her haha! Not only did they send me the ring but also a lovely card, Nessie toy, stick of rock and a local fridge magnet from Inverness. I also featured in their local paper!
Premier League Tickets
Wednesday, March 6, 2019
The day has started well as just won my first prize through Prize Finder, it is a pair of Premier League tickets for the Southampton versus Tottenham Hotspur match on Saturday 9 March via the Cadbury Football Club promotion. They kept me informed about my win sending me emails and using a tracking system to make sure that I received the tickets safely. I am really excited, as we are making a weekend of it staying in a nice hotel and doing some shopping as well as looking forward to the match. Hoping to see plenty of goals and hoping we win. Hoping it's the first of many prizes. Thank-you Prize Finder. Good luck to all you fellow compers.
First win in months
Tuesday, February 26, 2019
I was close to giving up as I have not won anything in months, I was entering every day but no luck.
Then I get my post and find this parcel, I have won a CD from the sewing magazine, its a nice little CD with some classical music on it, just right for a nice relaxing afternoon.
Did not receive any notifications or emails that I had won, just the parcel and the letter with it.
Just shows you have to keep trying, and dont think you haven't won just because you have no phone calls or emails, they might just pop up and never give up as you never know when you might get lucky and win something.Stamp Win
Monday, February 25, 2019
Two small wins this month so far. The optimist half of me says that there are still three days to go but the realist thinks two is the final total.
Received a 1st World War Presentation Pack of stamps in a LWE last week but nothing to say who it was from. Think it was probably one of the Stamp Collector magazines.
I've also been playing the Cadbury Hunt the White cream egg game and have now reached the maximum of 5 cream egg wins.Sadly none of them were white.
Good luck to everyone with their comping.A stitch in time ......

A nice little surprise arrived just before Christmas from Cross Stitch Crazy. A set of eight very cute mouseloft stitchlets, which are little Christmas themed cross stitch projects that when finished, fit in a card and comes complete with envelopes. So some hand made cards for special recipients next Christmas, hopefully. Well I wanted a new hobby so have been trying to win some craft prizes to start me off. So this was perfect and gives me plenty of time to learn and practise in plenty of time for next Christmas!
A lucky streak
Monday, February 25, 2019
In February I had a lucky streak of wins - I won 2 books from different comps. I also won an Autotrader jacket (not in photo as gave to friend), dog lead and backpack cover. I had a lucky win of a £25 meal voucher for a local pub as a survey winner and finally a £100 Weird Fish voucher from a So Sensational comp that I found out about from an email from them. I always enter their comps but this is my first win from them. 7 is a great month for me and off to enjoy my pub lunch today. I love comping, never give up as your lucky streak could be just around the corner!
Hotels.com voucher win
Sunday, February 24, 2019
The guardian website has a regular competition for travel tips and I tried to enter a few times last year. After a few attempts I was very excited to find out that I had won, recieving a £200 hotels.com voucher to spend on any hotel on the site.
Part of the fun of the prize was the anticipation of choosing where to spend the voucher, and planning what we would do. We settled on using it to book 4 nights in Puerto de la Cruz in Tenerife in February 2019, to get some winter sun. We went at the start of the month and had the best time. It was such a treat to have some sun and we spent 4 brilliant days hiking in Mount Teide national park, exploring the coastline and eating delicious local food. As a bonus, the hotel was lovely.
Thanks Prizefinder for the site and giving us the chance to win this break.
