i recently had surprise when an art set was delivered in the post after a really really long spell of not winning.
I had a really heavy parcel, today i had another win this time for some compost.
I won through the kitchen garden magazine June edition, the prize is a tub of Soilfixer Blocher Super Compost, which has given me a great excuse to start growing my own veg again.
hopefully this is a sign of my really long dry spell coming to an end, just shows you have to keep trying because you never know when you will get lucky.

Nice weekend break
Sunday, June 9, 2019
Couldn't believe it when I got an email from the Sainsbury's magazine to say I'd won a short break. Had a choice of 2 Country Living hotels, one in Harrogate, one in Bath. I chose to go to Bath because the Wikitravel page said that was where Solsbury Hill was, where Peter Gabriel got the inspiration for the song of the same name. Last weekend, a friend and I headed to the Lansdowne Grove hotel in Bath to claim our prize.
The hotel was really pretty, the staff were helpful and our room was comfortable, with plenty of space, lots of tea and biscuits and fast internet. The breakfast was tasty, with decent options for my veggie travelling companion, and the library with all the broadsheet newspapers was a nice touch. All in all, a great base to explore Bath for the weekend. Feeling really lucky to have won it.
Cadbury's merchandise
Saturday, June 8, 2019
Another prize through Prizefinder, a selection of merchandise from Cadburys. It includes draw-string sports bags, scarves and key rings all in Cadburys purple colour. The sports bags will be useful for going to the gym or for swimming, if I am feeling that energetic, or to put shoes in for taking on holiday. The scarves are surprising warm on cold days and the key rings will be useful for house or car keys, as they are quite large and will be easy to find in a handbag or for suitcases keys as they have a habit of disappearing leaving you unable to access your case.
Amazing Hamper Win
Friday, June 7, 2019
A really lovely prize turned up today from British Airways HighLife website, very gin orientated which suits me just fine, it also includes mini bottles of champagne, Prosecco, red wine and beer but I am particularly looking forward to trying the rhubarb and ginger gin. There are lots of other goodies too. I really love these kinds of prizes as it is always such a treat to be able to try things that you wouldn’t normally buy. I love my hobby you never know what is going to turn up next and some of the prizes are really generous. I am a very lucky comper
£70 worth of art supplies
Wednesday, June 5, 2019
i fell out of doing competitions for a while now but decided to get back into it only 65 days ago.
today i received a parcel in it was a lovely set, an adult colouring book, pencils and pens.
i remember doing the competition but did not know how much it was worth until i googled it, the pencil set is worth £50 alone!
so definitely made the right decision to start comping again, especially as im an artist in need of new supplies.
i would definitely say dont be disheartened if you dont get any emails saying you have won, as sometimes the prizes come out the blue like this one did todayWinner winner chicken dinner

I won a pink micro trike and a Nuby set. The micro trike is absolutely brilliant!
We gave it to our 2 year old daughter for her birthday and it's the best little ride on toy we have used.
It was a simple form comp and was so excited to win something I actually wanted. My daughter is so happy with it, as its light it goes everywhere with us.
My eldest daughter claimed the Nuby set which consisted off a backpack, lunch bag, pencil case and water bottle.
She liked the fact she got something out of the win too.Marvellous May
Monday, June 3, 2019
May kicked off with a win on two consecutive days- £50 worth of cereal bars on the 1st May and £13 the following day. All was quiet for another week before I had an email to say I'd won two tickets to the RHS Malvern Spring Show! As an avid gardener, this was an exciting win and gave us a lovely sunny family day out.
My final win in May was £250 shoe vouchers with Sole Bliss- a company that specialises in making footwear for ladies with bunions. I don't have bunions, but chose two pairs of boots that are both stylish and comfortable.
Thank you Prize Finder for an exciting month. Fingers crossed for a successful June!

Friday, May 31, 2019
I can't even BELIEVE IT! I have been, secretly, ashamedly (my partner disapproves!) comping on and off for a couple of years and always had small wins (max £200 in goods or experiences).
Suddenly I find I've won the Sunday Times "Where am I?" competition!
Private Villa on Paxos (off Corfu)
Flights, Ferry, Carry Hire!
All we have to do is feed ourselves!I'm OVER THE MOON. Finally I have something to hold up and say "See I wasn't wasting my time!!"
I promise that I will do my best to help other people have as much luck and fun as I have had - what a thrill!
