Here is my good self cuddling my CASE of Fox's Glacier mixed mints and fruits that I won this month on Twitter, thanks to the Prizefinder! I am delighted with my prize and it shows I am a bit of a SUCKER after all for a good prize! I was asked to choose my fave flavour but couldnt decide so Fox's very kindly made up a mixed case (which in CASE you didn't know consists of 12 hanging bags!) for me and it arrived the very next day after I won it - my family and friends are very happy to know me now I know the sweet taste of success!!

Two wins this month!
Saturday, June 29, 2019
I’ve had a lucky month with the competitions I’ve entered, winning twice! The first win was a Father’s Day Twitter competition, and is for a voucher for 2 people to a Gin and Whiskey distillery tour in the Scottish Borders. We were wondering where to go for a short break at the beginning of the summer holidays, so that helped us make up our minds, and we are going to visit the Scottish Borders just above Northumberland and use our winning voucher whilst there. So that was exciting, and it’ll be good to use it in July. The second win was for a Facebook Winning Wednesday competition, for a pair of sunglasses of my choice from the Saltrock website. I am in desperate need of some new good sunglasses so this was a much needed prize and it has been lovely going through the website choosing which ones I wanted. So thank you Prize Finder - I love using your competition listings!
Always enter the code
Saturday, June 29, 2019
When you buy promotion packs of items advertising competitions to win prizes, always follow it through and enter online, you never know you might win. I've won quite a few glasses over the years, I once won a bike, can't remember the competition, but it was via an online code.
This year I won a festival pack with mallets cider. Here's a photo of the birthday boy (60) wearing the hat during his party. The pack had, cider, hat, sunglasses, raincape inside. Its a great joy to receive a parcel and dive in.A Fine Dining Experience In My Garden
Monday, June 24, 2019
Last year I won an unusual prize of a personal chef to come to my house and cook a three course meal for myself and five guests. I only have a small house so thought I'd wait until this year, closer to summer time and have the meal outside under a gazebo.
I booked it for Saturday 22nd June and in the six weeks leading up to it I was praying that the weather would improve as it had rained so much for weeks! I must of been lucky with the weather too as it was glorious on Saturday evening.
Me and my family enjoyed an amazing meal cooked for us by a talented chef. We had canapes, lots of wine, a sea bass starter, steak and dauphinoise potatoes with veg for our main and a trio of desserts for pudding. Chocolate brownie, coffee creme brulee and elderflower jelly with real gold leaf in it. It was all served to us by a friendly waiter and everything was cleared away for us too.
It was so nice too relax, put my feet up and enjoy this unique experience with my family.
Thank you The Prizefinder for listing this fantastic competition. Good luck everyone.Britains Got Talent
Monday, June 24, 2019
Having watched Britains Got Talent for years and loving the show I won tickets to go watch one of the Semi Finals at the Appollo in London with VIP treatment from M&S. A Fantastic experience for myself and my daughter in the photograph.
An experience money can't buy so we are both very grateful.
We made a longer experience by spending the next day exploring London from Buckingham Palace to Carnaby Street where we shopped till we dropped. Had a lovely meal on a ship on the Thames too.
The weather was good so all in all we had a great weekend Thanks to Comping.Huge Disney baking bundle and jewellery
Friday, June 21, 2019
I was extremely lucky to have been chosen to win a HUGE Disney baking bundle (including 5 different cake box sets, squirty icing, decorations) as well as a STUNNING Mickey Mouse necklace/earrings rrp £100. (The competition was held on Instagram by Cakeangels).
My daughter was absolutely over the moon as she's Disney Obsessed (She's already picked the first cake mixes she wants to make- Ariel and Frozen which are her favourites). Just seeing that smile makes those few hours here/there entering competitions worthwhile.
Football Winner!
Tuesday, June 18, 2019
I received this football in a competition when I correctly predicted the score between Liverpool 4 v Barcelona 0. I was thrilled when I found that I’d won because I thought it was a daft score and wouldn’t win so I was really surprised to see Liverpool rack up those goals and me to be on winners list.
I enter a lot of competitions but this was first in a while. I can’t remember the name of the competition. I can’t remember what social media it was but as you see I’m very pleased.
I’ve won other comps in the past like the cheese one where I won a seven night holiday in a cottage in Normandy and love 2 shop vouchers
second win in a month
Wednesday, June 12, 2019
i recently had surprise when an art set was delivered in the post after a really really long spell of not winning.
I had a really heavy parcel, today i had another win this time for some compost.
I won through the kitchen garden magazine June edition, the prize is a tub of Soilfixer Blocher Super Compost, which has given me a great excuse to start growing my own veg again.
hopefully this is a sign of my really long dry spell coming to an end, just shows you have to keep trying because you never know when you will get lucky.Nice weekend break
Sunday, June 9, 2019
Couldn't believe it when I got an email from the Sainsbury's magazine to say I'd won a short break. Had a choice of 2 Country Living hotels, one in Harrogate, one in Bath. I chose to go to Bath because the Wikitravel page said that was where Solsbury Hill was, where Peter Gabriel got the inspiration for the song of the same name. Last weekend, a friend and I headed to the Lansdowne Grove hotel in Bath to claim our prize.
The hotel was really pretty, the staff were helpful and our room was comfortable, with plenty of space, lots of tea and biscuits and fast internet. The breakfast was tasty, with decent options for my veggie travelling companion, and the library with all the broadsheet newspapers was a nice touch. All in all, a great base to explore Bath for the weekend. Feeling really lucky to have won it.
Cadbury's merchandise
Saturday, June 8, 2019
Another prize through Prizefinder, a selection of merchandise from Cadburys. It includes draw-string sports bags, scarves and key rings all in Cadburys purple colour. The sports bags will be useful for going to the gym or for swimming, if I am feeling that energetic, or to put shoes in for taking on holiday. The scarves are surprising warm on cold days and the key rings will be useful for house or car keys, as they are quite large and will be easy to find in a handbag or for suitcases keys as they have a habit of disappearing leaving you unable to access your case.
