I have always looked on in awe at other winners stories and wondered how they do it. But now I have my own list to share! You really do have to "be in it to win it" and not give up! I won £500 by sharing a savings tip in the Metro Paper and had a lovely hotel break for my 50th Birthday recently; £250 of ticket master vouchers which means my husband and I will see Katherine Jenkins in concert and then The Osmonds in a Andy Williams Christmas Special, followed by a day out for all my family at the Portsmouth Dockyard Victorian Christmas- so much to look forward to! and now a beautiful handmade leather collar from Cheshire & Wain worth £55 for my puss daisy! I think she looks amazing in it. Thankyou Prizefinder for making my 50th Year the best ever!

Last Christmas, I really wanted my whole family to get along, with no arguments and disagreements. I needn't have worried. One morning, a mystery prize package appeared on the doorstep. With the delivery of my novelty 'double' Christmas jumper. It bought myself and my sister much closer together - literally!

No spectacular wins this month but a couple of small wins to keep up the record of at least one prize a month this year.

I won four packs of Dorset Cereal as a runner-up prize in their Spin to Win daily draw and then a copy of Elizabeth Buchan's "The Good Wife" turned up from the Mirror newspaper draw, a book I am sure I will enjoy as "Revenge of the Middle-Aged Woman was a good read.

As I have been on holiday and was unable to enter comps during that time and have been busy catching up since I have not entered as many comps as usual with the daily entry ones falling by the wayside on the whole so I think this was a good haul. Once again I am indebted to Priefinder as I would not have known of the comps at all without their comprehensive listings.

I have a 3 year old niece who lives in Australia so sending presents out is very expensive. I tried to win a great present for Penny's third birthday as that way I could justify the shipping if I hadn't paid for the present! I was very lucky on Prizefinder as I entered a couple of blog competitions hoping to win her a doll for her birthday and actually won 2 £50 dolls from Zapft from two seperate blogs! I got a Baby Annabell Learns to Walk and a Baby Annabell Baby Brother, which coincidentally are both designed on the age / developmental stage my nephew is at!

I had a dry month or two back in the summer - no wins. :( I decided though that you have got to be in it to win it, so i picked up again and got stuck in. I won a small prize or two - mainly twitter ones. An instant ice tea set for one, which was lovely. However, I then got an email saying the usual - "sorry you didn't win this time but""... I almost didn't read it in full - so glad I did!! I had won the runners up prize, which was a year's Nuffield membership!! It just goes to show - you can still win even if you don't win!!

This month I've had a trickle of small but rewarding prizes for my family and myself including a Hamper of snacks for my toddler, an Oxo mixing bowl, a candle. I also won m first radio competition - £100
Nothing 'big' but my little boy loves getting parcels and we open them together it's fab when he says WOW when I open the boxes! One of those priceless aspects of comping. My final prize this month was a new baby so I'm using the prize finder to make the most of limited free time to try and win some nice bits for us all to enjoy.

    Thanks prize finder

I started comping a year ago and despite allot of hard work won a biro in the first 4 months much to the amusement of my family! Over Christmas 2015 I read Super Lucky Secrets by Di Coke which changed the way and type of comps I entered and the prizes started coming in an average of 8 a month since January. This month I have won a 4 piece running set worth over £200 from Sundried and a pBuzz musical instrument from Netmums thanks to theprizefinder, I love the ordered layout of this site. If you are new to comping & not having much luck don't give up, it takes a while to get the hang of it but when you do its a relaxing & creative hobby with wonderful rewards.
