I was made redundant recently and through boredom started entering comps on the prizefinder.com without any expectations of winning. Imagine my surprise after a couple of weeks when I received an email saying I had won tickets to go and see Jamie Cullum at Kenwood House. The gig was amazing and it was all down to theprizefinder.com. My partner and I got back from London on Sunday evening and I open my email to find I had won a £130 pair of jeans, amazing. Now waiting for that fantastic holiday win!!!!!

A while ago I thought I'd start entering competitions for something to do. A few months went buy and I'd won nothing so I thought "Right, that's enough of this, it's not going to happen." I checked my email that evening and had an email saying I was 'one of the winners' of a Sherlock Holmes competition. The first prize was a signed poster and bluray, and runners up just got the bluray. I assumed I was a runner up and was happy with that! Imagine my surprise when, a few days later, I received the main prize! The poster is signed by Robert Downey Jr, Jude Law, Mark Strong, Guy Ritchie, Rachel McAdams and Kelly Reilly. In the words of Michael Corleone from The Godfather (Part 3) - "Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in!" Since then I've been entering competition after competition, hoping for another big win! My new hobby is completely addictive and has no financial outlay. When my kids are all in bed, out comes the laptop and I enter whatever takes my fancy. Since last year I have won an array of prizes ranging from food hampers, childrens DVDs, L'oreal beauty pack, an oral B toothbrush, vouchers and just today my 2 V festival VIP tickets came....Keep them coming...I love it

I joined ThePrizefinder.com last year and have won some amazing prizes which include a holiday to Australia flying Business class with Emirates totalling an amazing £25,000. I went in June and loved it. I have also won a month's supply of Omega 3 fish oils, a spanish food hamper and last week a PS3 arrived - my hubby doesn`t mind me comping now as he's busy on the PS3! I just got back from 2 nights in one of THE poshest hotels in Zurich, with return flights with Swiss Air. It was absolutely heaven on earth and all thanks to filling in a form on Vogue. I had to say which countries bordered Switzerland. We worked out that had we paid for it all, our prize would have cost approximately £2000. Well worth a moment of filling in a tiny form, don't you think?

After discovering competitions on line 3 weeks ago and now daily using your site ever since I am amazed that after 3 weeks only my average winnings equate to a win a week. On average I comp for 30 mins a day and to date have won: a holiday for 2 in the Med, a £500 make over and £1000 worth of bikes. If I were reading this for the first time I would find it hard to believe but none the less it is true and I am addicted to comping from here on out!

Since I started using theprizefinder.com about 1-2 years ago I have won Fifi and the Flowertots toys, a Playstation 3 on the Bacardi website, Rimmel and Loreal Make-up and a holiday to Santander with Brittany Ferries which I am going on at the end of September. I have also recently recieved an email saying i had won an iphone and £500 shopping vouchers! Lovely!

I had never won anything in my life until I started using this website. Its amazing! My Facebook friends get very jealous when I update my status saying what I have won lately. Last July, a month before the birth of my first child, I was sat at home wondering how I was going to fill my days when I stumbled across ThePrizefinder site. I immediately caught the 'compers' bug and spent my days entering competitions. I enjoyed it and felt like I was making good use of my free time. My first prize was a baby play mat which came in very handy with the new baby and gave me such an adrenaline rush because I wasn't used to winning things. I was well and tuly addicted from then on. Since then I have won many prizes but the best prize I have won is an Apple ipad which I won with Av Forums.

I have found myself a wonderful hobby that also pays brilliant dividends. My only regret is that I didn't start it a lot sooner as my new baby means that I can't devote the time to it that I would like to.

I won a red power ranger and £300 of Power Rangers toys! My son and his friends were over the moon and the red ranger even stayed for the party. He presented my son with a bike and one of everything from the current Power Rangers range of toys thank to Toysrus.

I love comping, the excitement of that winning phone call, email or letter. One Monday morning in half term this February whilst looking after a friends daughter for the day I got a call from a nice lady at Play.com telling me that I had won a trip to Paris for two and that someone would contact me to arrange this within the next couple of weeks.

When the company called an hour or so later I was still buzzing – I didn’t want to tell anyone as I couldn’t quite believe it was true. My husband and I enjoyed the weekend in Paris. We travelled from London Kings X by Eurostar to Gard de Nord. – The lady at Optimum Releasing had been so thoughtful, even booking seats close to the exits on both journeys.

We stayed in the Pigalle region which I have to admit I was a little wary about as I had read it was the Red Light district. It was a great location and we were able to walk to Sacre Coeur and Montmartre. The weekend went by in a whizz we vowed to visit lots of places that our children would hate (art galleries, churches etc).
The prize even included tickets to the Crazy horse show – which was certainly an experience.

Comping is so much fun and a low cost hobby. People don't understand that they could have as much luck if only they entered the competitions in the first place.
