Meet Our Latest Winners!

I entered loads during the advents and won nothing but I was so lucky on Facebook. I entered the big iPad competition not expecting to win really. Two days later I got a message saying I should watch a video with a link attached. I nearly passed out when they drew my name out. So happy and they sent it by courier and I had it the next day. Comping can be so rewarding so never give up, I can now enjoy entering more as I am not struggling to see on my phone. Since Christmas, I have won a day out to Blackberry Farm which is perfect for my grandchildren and also a lovely meat hamper. My luck is changing for the better. Be positive is my motto.

I had a lovely surprise on the run up to Christmas when I won a Christmas bouquet in an Instagram competition. I was really poorly with shingles at the time so it really cheered me up, and they arrived quickly and it’s always exciting to win something! I had a couple of wins in the advent competitions too - a copy of the new novel by Isabelle Broom called One Winter Morning which was one of the newspaper competitions. I’m reading that now and it’s excellent. And I also won one of the 1000 Andrex puppies - my little girl was absolutely over the moon.

Over Christmas I was entering a lot of competitions via The Prize Finder to try and win a Christmas Hamper! I was delighted to be contacted by Now TV to say I'd won their prize! I couldn't remember which hamper prize it was and was looking forward to some port and cheese etc. When it arrived I discovered it was a Haribo hamper haha! My children were over the moon to get something they could enjoy!
I have really enjoyed the variety of competitions the Prize Finder has on offer and continue to try my luck with other foodie comps!

I won a £50 voucher to spend online at Muddy Puddles with a Petits Filous’ on pack promotion. I bought three items pictured (wellies, waterproof trousers and a body warmer) which were all in the sale, for my son who is very pleased with them and is planning to use them when he goes on his forest school trip. This was a daily entry competition (I only entered a few times) with a massive 92 prizes, so hopefully others PF members have also won one.

January has been a good month as I have also won a weekend away and tickets to a West end show. Fingers crossed February continues to be lucky. Happy Comping everyone.

When I captured this, plus 3 others, I was bursting to show the world so went online to find a photo competition. I found The Prizefinder then proceeded to look for competitions I could enter using these and other photos I've taken (I've always taken a lot). This photo came about as follows - I've been chatting to this robin in our front garden, while gardening he follows me around, for the last 7 years. Last summer he encouraged his Mrs to join us and they both hopped around my feet seemingly with little fear, as I turned over grubs for them weeding. Feeling rather confident, I thought I'd nip indoors, get some wildbird seed and try an experiment. Still with gardening gloves on, I stood in the centre of the lawn and held up a dish of seed, talking to Robin. Sure enough, he flew down to the dish in my hand, picked out a suet pellet and flew back to the bush to eat it. The hardest part for me was using my right hand to get my phone out of my pocket and take photos, without shaking the left or scaring him. He flew to me 4 times, rummaged and picked out the suet (he must be able to see pink) and flew off to eat it. I sent pics to my son and friend then legged indoors to post on my facebook. Two days later, I thought I'd give it another go, as I could hear him out in the front garden singing. This time no gloves and I went a step further, just put some suet and mealworms in the palm of my left hand; phone poised in my right. Within moments, a brief hello and Robin was on my hand; I took several photos in the time he sat on my hand looking from me to the clicking phone and to the assortment of food. Eventually he chose a mealworm and flew back to his bush. The whole encounter lasted less than 5 mins but I haven't stopped crowing about it since :D

Four wins so far in January - 2 of them have already arrived..

Yet to arrive but I have had emails to confirm the win are a Panini sticker album and 100 packs of stickers. This win is highly anticipated by the grandkids.

All lovely wins in this wintery season as can be very useful on wet weekends.
You just never know when the postie is going to bring goodies, so just keep entering.

I had a whale of a time over the Christmas Advent period winning every single day except 2, a prize of SOME description even if it was just a money off voucher and it was an unprecedented rollercoaster ride for me but my favourite win came very early in the advents, from an advent comp on day 1 of PetPlan's advent calendar competition - it was a dog's bed - and I do not even have a dog!

I entered this especially for my colleague at work who is building his own house and he has three dogs and is building their kennel and insulating it for them - when I was informed that I had won they kindly agreed to send it to my work and when it arrived it was big enough for all three of his dogs inside their new kennel and they are delighted with it but I have not yet persuaded him to take a picture of them to give to me so here is the prize minus the dogs!

From the beginning of June I put maximum effort to win as much as I could for my son Charlie's 1st birthday and was delighted when I won £250 worth of love to shop vouchers from MrFreeze, so got him a lot of goodies. So I thought I would give winning all the Christmas presents a go and I did! I won a £300 tesco voucher from mumsnet, a £515 climbing frame from one stop, a £200 Amazon voucher from netmums, a £300 bike from Instagram, a £230 scooter from skates.co.uk Instagram live and lots of other smaller prizes. To top off my year I won a £2000 holiday voucher, £250 flight voucher, some £450 curtains and some family tickets to planet earth 2 live! My year's total prizes totalled just over £15k

2020 has got off to a good start with a few wins for January already!

Had an Instagram Advent win from Clearspring arrive last week - a hamper and cookbook.

Ferratum Money on FB do a Friday comp to win £100 every week, I played it all year and finally WON at the beginning of December! The money was in my account that day and I spent it all on taking my daughters to Winter Wonderland in Nottingham. It was an amazing day I couldn't have afforded otherwise so I was over the moon and grateful.
