From the beginning of June I put maximum effort to win as much as I could for my son Charlie's 1st birthday and was delighted when I won £250 worth of love to shop vouchers from MrFreeze, so got him a lot of goodies. So I thought I would give winning all the Christmas presents a go and I did! I won a £300 tesco voucher from mumsnet, a £515 climbing frame from one stop, a £200 Amazon voucher from netmums, a £300 bike from Instagram, a £230 scooter from skates.co.uk Instagram live and lots of other smaller prizes. To top off my year I won a £2000 holiday voucher, £250 flight voucher, some £450 curtains and some family tickets to planet earth 2 live! My year's total prizes totalled just over £15k

Had an Instagram Advent win from Clearspring arrive last week - a hamper and cookbook.

Ferratum Money on FB do a Friday comp to win £100 every week, I played it all year and finally WON at the beginning of December! The money was in my account that day and I spent it all on taking my daughters to Winter Wonderland in Nottingham. It was an amazing day I couldn't have afforded otherwise so I was over the moon and grateful.

I recently started entering competitions a month or so ago and its become a bit of a hobby no, so I was very pleased to find out that I had just won for the very first time! It's a very small runners up prize of £1. Although its monetary value is tiny, I was so excited for the fact that I'd won my first prize. It has made me want to enter even more competitions going forward and hopefully I'll start to win bigger and bigger. £1 is definitely an easy first win to remember though and its boosted my determination 😁

I love entering the yearly Advent comps on the fabulous Prizefinder, but never had any success with them over the years, until I received an email last week!
I had entered the "FREEVIEW" comps daily, crossing my fingers each time I submitted my entry!!
I am now the proud owner of a 49" Panasonic television, courtesy of John Lewis (whom fulfilled the prize), and the news is still sinking in!

This is my fabulous Gordon Ramsay Royal Doulton Dinner Set that I won recently with Sterling Furniture and their Day 1 Advent Competition. The quality and style of the dinner set is truly amazing. It arrived in perfect timing for our Christmas Dinner and I have to say it truly felt like fine dining at it's best. on the day This was my first advent competition of the year but an extremely practical one that I love and will use on a day to day basis with a daily reminder of my amazing win. I won this prize from Yardleys Advent competition (sorry I no longer have the box it came in which would have made a better picture). Entered every day as is my mission over the run up to Christmas when I am glued to the computer entering like a crazy woman and perseverance paid off in the end and I received this lovely prize of a Radley tote bag, the weeniest hot water bottle in the world and some gorgeous Yardley toiletries. Could hardly believe it when the postman arrived with two enormous boxes which I presumed were yet more plants for the garden that my husband had ordered but they turned out to be addressed to me. Was delighted as it is so much harder to win anything in the Advent comps as more and more people enter than when I first started doing them. See that I have been a member of The Prizefinder for 18 years so it might even have been that long. Thank you for helping me become a winner.

We saw earlier in the year that Best Western was running a chilren's competition, with quite a few different prizes! Your child had to design their own hotel and you then had to submt the photo on social media to enter. Melody made hers out of a shoe box and other recycling materials, as well as bits of Lego to add a bit of extra detail. We were so excited to hear that Melody ahd won a prize! Our prize was 2 nights in one of their hotels with breakfast, and a family ticket to Chester Zoo! We just came back, it was a prefect Twixmas treat! The staff even bought the children a box of chocolates each and they didn't charge us for the meal we had in their restaurant either! It was such a great time! The zoo was a lot of fun and we saw loads of animals, the weather seemed perfect for many of them. We loved the giraffes and the elephants, also the birds and butterflies! We would definitely visit again!

I won a night in Edinburgh before Christmas. I had never been there and had a magical time. We stayed in the hotel indigo and they really looked after us. We had balloons in our room, chocolates and strawberries and breakfast thrown in. This truly was an amazing prize. We went to the castle and explored the markets. The Christmas markets are the best I have ever been to much better than the crowds in Manchester which is where we usually venture. Edinburgh is a stunning city. I can’t wait to see what 2020 brings and where my hobby will take me .

Over Christmas there were SO many Advent calendars it was impossible to keep up! Luckily Prizefinder was amazing at getting them all listed and easy to enter. I was lucky to win one, a pair of gorgeous cotton pyjamas from an Instagram comp. My first ever Instagram win! It was from a small company so there weren't too many entries (hundreds rather than thousands and thousands) and I got this amazing pair of PJS just before Christmas.
