I won tickets to take my daughter to see JoJo Siwa at the O2 for her D.R.E.A.M. Show (VIP tickets) - we made it a proper mum and daughter day out with lunch and shopping. The smile on my daughters face says it all! She loved every moment. Definitely earned some mummy brownie points. It was a great show, plus she got a goody box anf then a selfie with JoJo afterwards. Didn't get home until 1am (on a school/work night !!) but totally worth the memories. Love the bonuses of a competition win. I hadn't had any time off during half term but this was on the last day so what an end.

Cottage Stay in Devon
Monday, November 4, 2019
I entered a competition being run by Jewel Street and it was run across Facebook, Webstie and Instagram. Amazingly I won a 4 night stay at a luxury cottage in Devon. Our cottage was called Rose Cottage and was situated near Barnstaple. The cottage was beautiful with a hot tub, log fire, 3D TV and a huge tin bath! There was even a breadmaker in the kitchen and when we arrive there was a homemade cake and fresh bread baking. The village we stayed in was very small, cosy and we met the local people in a small pub where we enjoyed some cider and homemade cakes. We got to visit Ilfracombe, went to a nature reserve to see otters and the RHS Rosemoor Gardens. The photo is of us at RHS Garden.

New to Comping
Friday, November 1, 2019
I took up the hobby of entering competitions about three months ago. I've recently retired and as I had a bit more time on my hands, I decided to be a bit more dedicated than filling in the odd form here and there. .
At first I was a bit random and haphazard in my approach and searched around for tips on how to be a better 'comper'. It was in doing that where I came across the advise to join PrizeFinder as a way to access thousands of competitions and complete in a much more structured manner. After those first few weeks of chaos, once I joined PrizeFinder , suddenly I felt a winning streak was just around the corner. I was right ! Here I am in the picture winning a new rug for the bedroom and in the last month that is just one of six other prizes. So a big thanks to everyone you contributes here and good luck one and all !Coffee

I won a beautiful selection of Nescafé coffee from Nescafé. I did a questionnaire found on PrizeFinder and now I’m the lucky owner of all this Coffee. This month I also won a Birdseye plate from purchasing a pack of Fishfingers which my son adores. He will only eat from that plate now. I must have tried at least a 100 times before I won one so was delighted when I got a message to say I was a winner.
I was also lucky enough to win 6 Legoland tickets from filling an online form with Jewish News. I’m so happy I can take my children and a couple more family members.Lovely prize for my son!

We had a really good surprise win of a set of books from a children’s website that my son likes to go on. We didn’t receive an email to say that we’d won, so when the parcel arrived in my son’s name it was very exciting for him and he was amazed. He loves his gaming, so the 3 books were perfect for him. I think it’s given him the comping bug now as he wants to enter all the competitions on the children’s website now!! It’s also lovely for me to win prizes that I can share with my kids, it makes the excitement even better!
A book win
Saturday, October 26, 2019
I was happy to see I had won one of Caboodles book preview competitions- they notified me within the day and then posted it straight away. It came the next day! (if only more prize companies were that speedy!) It was a preview copy of "Sweet Sorrow" by David Nicholls which I've now finished. I'm a keen reader so happy to get any sort of books for free!
Thanks to this website Prizefinder for listing all sorts of comps big and small. I wouldn’t of seen smaller advertised prizes like this otherwise!
Now its coming up to Christmas time hopefully there’ll be some more festive and excting wins for us all !
Winning in the USA!
Sunday, October 20, 2019
Passing on a mother's luck... My daughter and son-in-law are in the USA and went to a climbing festival this weekend called Forks Fest. It is was at Paradise Forks/Sycamore Canyon near Williams. The weather was warm and sunny and there was lots of fun, exciting climbing going on.
They were lucky enough to win some prizes in the event's raffle... a back pack, some hand grip tape, a bag of chalk and a chalk bag. All very useful stuff to two keen climbers.
So no matter where you are, or what you're doing - always enter the competitions! You have to be in It, to win it...
Kidzania tickets
Monday, October 14, 2019
I won tickets to Kidzania in London. A city built for and run by kids. My youngest had a go at firefighting, paramedic, vet and clothes recycler! My older daughter tried out air hostess, hotel worker, deli wrap maker and CIA (children intelligence agency!) plus joined her sister as a Vet. Both had a very enjoyable day. They earned money for some of the jobs. There were lots of other jobs to try - pilot, bank, supermarket, radio DJ, acting, delivery, person, musician and WWF star. Kidzania is in Westfield shopping centre so relatively easy to get to. Plenty of parking.
I've won with Fishers Farm
Monday, October 14, 2019
I've won, I've won with Fishers Farm!
We have been to the farm before and thought it was great, so I was delighted when I received the email stating that I'd won entry for 4 people, as was my family.
We had a great day with so much to do and see there. I do advise taking a photo of the days events so you can work out which order you'd like do things.
There is animal handling, looking at the farm animals, shows, tractor rides around the farm, mini bug safari, slash attack, indoor play area, pony rides, ghost train, wall climbing to name just a few.
There are places to buy food as well as plenty of picnic areas.
It's a great place to go no matter the weather, but obviously more when it's nice, we went on a lovely sunny summer's day.
It's a bit in the sticks to get to if you're relying on public transport so it's best to go by car, there is plenty of free parking there.
Another thing to add was that all the people working there were very friendly and helpful.
