When you open the door at this time of year to unexpected parcels its like Christmas come early.
I recently received some Disney frozen prizes, including a light up glitter globe. As the parcel included a lot of different activity sets I donated some to a local Salvation Army Xmas appeal. Hopefully as well as my niece someone else will wake up to some extra presents.
The other prize I have won in December was a lovely rose diary - Really useful - although we all have tech I like a paper diary as well.
Nice to see that this year many competitions still running - Thanks Prizefinder for keeping us all busy

  • Advent win with Sweaty Betty

I’ve just had my first ever Instagram win and my first advent win in two years. And it’s a good one A selection of eco sweaty Betty workout gear. It’s absolutely lovely, made out of 17 recycled bottles and super soft. I can only normally afford sweaty Betty in the sale. It included leggings. A sports bra. Two tops, one which matched the leggings and a lovely soft sweatshirt with a hood . The sweatshirt alone is £150 and feels like cashmere . Can’t wait for my next Pilates class now. It’s my best win in along time It arrived within 2 days of notification too

  • Peter Rabbit Hamper Surprise

I entered a penguin house book comp via your great website and was pleased to get an email from the publishers to say I'd won. They arranged courier delivery before the end of the week and a stunning luxury chocolate box appeared with peter rabbit story books, character bears, advent calendars and chocolates.

Pressies for me and my niece to enjoy. Super happy to get this early Christmas treat. Really reminded me of my childhood and the classic tales and we now have a story to read every day leading up to the 25th December!

November has been a good for wins!

Received 2 cases of Hop House Lager - my eldest son is having those!
A HUGE bundle of King Cole knitting wool arrived - can't work out which comp it's from and there was no note with it - my daughter-in-law is having them!
A nice instagram win of some Good Year memorabilia arrived.
A while back I signed up for a newsletter from a Surfing company & they've sent me a sweatshirt, cap and some shampoo and surf wax - youngest son and I are sharing those!

Also bought a £2 scratchcard yesterday and won £20.... nice result! Also just found out I'm going to be a marzipan tester for Niederegger - which I'm really looking forward to!
All in all a good November!

  • Surprise Win

    Thursday, November 26, 2020

I haven't had many wins this year despite having more time to enter competitions due to lockdown.
I entered every competition that had a prize which was suitable for myself or a member of my family or a friend.
However, just when I thought I had run out of luck, I won a prize with Marie Claire, 4 cases of Actiph water (60 bottles of varying sizes) and an ActiphWear sports clothing bundle (hoody, t-shirt/vest top, leggings/tracksuit bottoms and gym bag).
Just need to stop being a "couch potato" now to put them to good use.

  • A prize with a surprise ending.

I had notification that I had won a Croft Original Gift Pack from a Facebook competition. When a package came there was a bottle of Croft Original which my husband opened immediately. I messaged the company and said thanks.
Several days later another package turned up. Inside was a Croft Original Ice Bucket and a case of 12 Croft Twist drinks. I was delighted.
I have always loved comping but this year I have taken it to another level.
This month I also won a book from the Scottish Book Trust which will be a lovely Christmas gift for one of my grandsons.

  • First win in a while

I have not any wins in a while and had as good as given up on entering competitions, especially after the death of my partner at the end of last year. I always enjoyed winning things for the two of us and now I had nobody to share the joy of winning something with.
But over the last couple of months I have been getting back into the swing of things and I won this great hamper of PAUL at Home goodies. I love bread making and can't wait to get stuck in and have a slice of bread with one of the delicious jams and a cup of coffee.

I love entering competitions and use have been using the prizefinder site for a number of years. It has been a great distraction during this strange year. My latest win was this very comfortable bean bag although I'm not sure I'm going to get to use it as my girls seem to have taken a liking for it ! In addition it came in a very large box which the younger one enjoyed playing on for some time ! Hopefully I can get a shot at the beanbag over the weekend and chill out reading a book ! Fingers crossed

  • Bonne Maman Hamper

    Sunday, November 8, 2020

I won a Bonne Maman Hamper from Waitrose. it had many more cakes than the picture as I could not resist eating some of them first. Comping sometimes introduces you to products like this that you did not know much about and will continue to enjoy. Also the lovely wicker hamper will be recycled. Prizes like this are so welcome at the moment as it saves going out to the shops.
Other prizes this month were some Love2shop vouchers , always a nice prize to win as its like choosing your own prize, some postcards and stamps were also really useful for someone who likes to send in postal entries but does not like the cost of postage. Thanks Prizefinder for the continued listings of competitions without which we would not win so many prizes.

  • Molton Brown bubble game

    Saturday, November 7, 2020

I played the Molton brown bubble game hundreds of times last year and win nothing. This year I expected the same. I couldn’t believe it when on my first go or came up saying congratulations you are a winner Also it says it will send the prize but I had no proof I’d won as it just gives the congratulations message but doesn’t ask for further details. Therefore I was worried how to prove it if it didn’t turn up. However today I got a box with a pink peppercorn hand cream and bubble bath bauble I’ve never even won an instant win before
