  • Radio Win

I won a trip to London for 2 with Smooth Radio from a competition which I found on ThePrizeFinder. The prize included a £150 Tesco voucher, 2 nights at a 5* hotel in South Kensington with breakfast both mornings, train tickets to and from London, a private chauffeur to collect us from Paddington station and deliver us to the hotel on arriving and again on departing, £400 gift card for dinner at Gordon Ramsey’s Petrus restaurant in Knightsbridge, £150 gift card for CUT restaurant on Park Lane. We couldn’t even use all of the gift cards because we were so stuffed with food!

The photo is of a delicious dessert from Petrus. We had an amazing time and felt like we were living the high life if only for a few days. The weather was great, we shopped in Harrods and saw a show at the Regents Park Open Air Theatre.

  • Baby Bag Win

It was amazing to receive a call whilst recovering from corona virus at home to say I had won a baby bag, with pouches specially made for changing and holding baby milk & food. I was very pleased to receive some good news as a boost & the prize arrived the very next day.

It's a sleek navy blue colour, water resistance and has clips to hook onto a pushchair or use as a backpack.

Finger's crossed for some more wins as it's the first of 2020 for me after months of not winning anything. Thanks to ThePrizeFinder for all these great opportunities.

This month I won a beautiful dark grey leather Ropelet bracelet. This was from the Ropelet Twitter page. They run a weekly competition and I have been entering every now and again for a while as their Ropelets are so nice and I really wanted to win one! It was a Twitter follow and retweet contest, and I left a comment as well. Two winners were chosen. And I was so pleased that I was a winner at last! They sent the prize through really quickly, wrapped in tissue paper with a nice message. It was a lovely treat during this difficult time of isolation, and I’ve been wearing it every day.

  • From Lockdown to Meltdown

I won this marvellously magnificent Thornton’s Easter egg in a competition at Doormats4you. I had to look through their website pages to find an egg, if I remember rightly. I must just say a big thanks to whoever so kindly posted the competition, and to Doormats4you for their generosity. Unfortunately, it was rather cold that night so we had the heating on during the evening. When I got up the next morning it had melted into a big pile at the bottom of the box 🤣🤣 Still tasted great though, and made some wonderful brownies with it too.

I've been entereing lots of magazine competitions when I've seen them on ThePrizeFinder and was so happy to get an email from Platinum mag to say I'd won their Lily O'Brien hamper! The hamper arrived in time for Easter. I have been very good and only eaten a few of the bags of chocolates and managing to share with my husband and daughter. As there was such good dates on the boxes, they have been put away for special occasions. I feel that I've been very lucky with all the competitions I've entered through ThePrizefinder, though I'm yet to win that big one! My wish list for now is winning Birthday and Christmas presents for all the family. What a wonderful hobby comping is. Thank you.

I was very happy to win this surprise package of lovely and varied seed planting kits. There are some varieties in here that i had never heard of ( Cucamelons! ), as i love gardening but all the garden centres have been closed for weeks now this is a very welcome project for me. I have absolutely no idea what company its from though, I didn't get any emails and there was no note either. I know its thanks to ThePrizeFinder though, so special thanks to you for being there to take our minds off this difficult time x

  • Lockdown reaps prizes

Well, who'd have thought it a few months ago.. the world is in turmoil & locked down.. I had no idea I'd be 'furloughed' (the word most of us had ever heard of) from work. The house & garden are clean and tidy, so I have had the time to up my comping game....
I comp every day anyway, and although it's a cliche - the harder I work, the luckier I tend to get... I have a lot of daily entry comps that I enter, then I enter from the ThePrizeFinder closing soon section and see the days New comps too. After that, I search for more comps in my social media feeds and my emails..
    It's paying off nicely..
So far since lockdown, I've won:
A pair of Sports Leggings from Tyna Active on Instagram
    £50 Voucher for Pavers Shoes
£200 worth of Theatre Tokens in a text comp
2 x cases of Cawston Press juices via an email comp
£25 Voucher for a handmade soap shop via facebook..
Fingers crossed for May, but I expect I may be back to work by then!
    Thanks ThePrizeFinder!

  • A surprise win for my husband that wasn't a surprise after all

    Sunday, April 26, 2020

I was delighted to win a Facebook competition, it was a great workbench which was just fantastic for my husband who loves doing his DIY. I thought i would hide it away for him for Christmas, but when it was delivered it wasn't wrapped in any way at all it just had a sticker with my name and address on AND my husband answered the door when it was delivered. So his Christmas surprise wasn't kept for Christmas. But he loves it a lot and is delighted with his early Christmas present after all that.

  • Items to go in my suitcase

    Thursday, April 23, 2020

Last month I was lucky enough to win a suitcase. This month I have won a towel and water bottle to go in it.
The towel and water bottle are branded with UEFA and are good quality items.
It's especially nice at the moment to get prizes in the post.
ThePrizefinder is still listing lots of different competitions and I am filling in my spare time entering. If prizes can't be fulfilled they will be sent later or alternatives offered.
    Other small prizes received this month include;
A bottle opener, some stamps, a beanie hat and some playing cards.
Keep entering everyone - a little light hearted relief from all the news does no one any harm.

  • OXO Wins

I won a competition with Delicious magazine this month. The comp was with OXO to win an Easter roasting bundle. Due to cover-19 related supply issues, they couldn't send the roasting tins but instead sent loads of their best tools, such as the fat separator, gravy baster, peeler, tongs, bottle opener, silicone roasting rack etc.

It's great timing as everyone is home and cooking a lot more, so thanks to Delicious mag, OXO and ThePrizeFinder for the win!

I hope compers had a great Easter and everyone is staying safe!
