I've been trying to win competitions for about a year on and off. I only won a Jedwood lunch box and a tiny bottle of perfume, until today. I came home to a huge box of beauty goodies from Conde Nast, but not sure which magazine. No letter! Also on the same day I got sun cream from Mumsnet.

Last week I scanned my inbox for winning e-mails and couldn't see anything - until I got home from work & looked properly!

I had won 2 tickets to the Olympic Games Opening Ceremony & £100 towards travel courtesy of Beauty Recommended & Oral B!

To top it off the ceremony was on my fiancees birthday. My hand was covering my open mouth while I said "look, look at that, oh my god look" at my chap over and over. He didn't know what had happened.
When he read the email he was just as shocked as me - but in a more controlled way!
I was over the moon, stunned and in complete disbelief.
Was it real? Was it a mistake? Was the e-mail in error?

Well I received my tickets this morning, the price on each ticket was £995. The price is just a drop in the ocean as the night will be something else.
This truly is a once in a life time win for me...I can't wait!

I've just returned from Liverpool after winning a luxury 2 night spa break for 2 at Thornton Hall Hotel. It was an absolute luxury experience for free - what a wonderful hobby this is!

On my return I received a telephone call from the local paper informing me that I had won an Apple TV with £50 worth of itunes! So delighted! I can't wait to see if I am lucky enough to get a third prize win.

I have been using ThePrizefinder.com for years and remember the first ever prize I won was a shed padlock. I was delighted with it! I started receiving lots of small items such as mascaras, cd's, dvds, books, jewellery and then over a few weeks I won a TV, and an Xbox 360. I won tickets to the finals at Wimbledon, which I asked the company to donate to charity as tennis isn't my thing and today I received a lovely gift box from Air Wick containing lots of gorgeous items. It smells fantastic. I desperately need a new cooker and a fridge so I will be looking on ThePrizefinder.com for more competitions to enter!

I started doing competitions on ThePrizeFinder a couple of months ago and found the the Lavazza coffee, set match to win a coffee expresso. I didn't win the coffee expresso but I was put into a prize draw not long after that and I got an email to say I had won a pair of Wimbledon tickets to the womens final. We had a great day. We got a little wet but it was worth it.

I've entered competitions on and off for a while now, but only regularly in the last 6 months because my little brother was winning lots.
At first I won a few smaller bits, Face mask pack, mascara etc then a 2 months supply of Jordan's cereal - brilliant! Came in two massive boxes I had great fun discovering the contents.
Then came the best of all.... I won four Lavazza limited addition Wimbledon espresso cups and at the same time via another comp with Evian 2 VIP Wimbledon tickets!
Something me and my husband had wanted to do for many years, prize included lunch, drinks (Champagne, Pimms), afternoon tea, programme all in the Evian suite plus tickets to Court one where we got to see the end of the Murray match! Its was an amazing day!

Most nights when my daughter is tucked up in bed I head towards the new competitions and fit as many in as I can. It can be quite time consuming but to be honest it's really worth it. I have loved every minute of July so far. Winning Leeds Fest tickets had to be one of my best wins. It's my sister's birthday on the day so now she has a lovely birthday treat I could never have got her without ThePrizeFinder :) My second fav win of July was a lovely dress which I won of Facebook. I usually hate share competitions as it fills the news feed and so many people enter you dont really think you will stand a chance but just this once I hit the jackpot.

I have won a couple of DVDs, CDs, sweets and books but I have a small list in my mind what I would like to win and I am so not going to give up until accomplished! Most people groan when they see the postman, I think I'm the only one on my street that runs to the post box with so much enthusiasm!

I started entering competition about 4 months ago, since then I've won packs of chewits sweets, lip balm, shaving razor. Then one saturday morning the postman knocked with a big envelope. Inside was a goody bag from L'Oreal. I thought I'd won a main prize. I was happily shocked, and then I realised it was a runners up prize! That made me even more happy!! I shall keep on entering! I'm hoping to win an iPad. That would be awesome!

In the space of a week, I have won a walls hamper £500 cash, an England football shirt, and a wedding package valued at £13000. Shocked is not the word! LOL. Thanks Theprizefinder, I will always be comping.

I've gone through phases of entering comps and recently started to slow down. Then over the past week I got great news 3 times!! I first won £50 flight vouchers from Flight Centre and a Travel Photography book for being the worst photographer of the year. Then came news on Facebook that I'd won a professional vintage hair and make-over (I love vintage) and just now I got a call to say I've won a VIP Carlsberg night out for me and 5 friends at the Casino Empire with drinks, food and gambling vouchers! I AM SO SURPRISED! Fingers crossed I get a holiday one next! Thanks PrizeFinder for helping me to find these! x
