Back in Late October I entered The Dickinson and Morris 12 days of Christmas competition.
You had to write a poem or song based on the 12 days of Christmas featuring there products.
I was the 2nd entry in I think and to be honest I didn't hold out much luck as I thought I would get lost at the bottom of the pile. I checked back on there page the day of the winners announcementnon Dec 12th and was delighted to see I had won! The prize a luxury hamper full of food and drink in a lovely wicker basket.
I hadn't been doing many comps lately but my win spurred me on to get back into the comping swing so last week I entered quite a few but stuck to stuff I really wanted. Then on Monday I got an email saying I had won another luxury hamper this time filled with Tesco finest goodies and extras courtesy of Tesco books and Cathy Kelly. This was for a competition where you had to write a blog post on Tesco books page about what Christmas means to you. I wrote mine in the form of a poem so I guess it helped me stand out.
Christmas was going to be a struggle this year but these hampers will really help make it a special time for our family as the money I saved on food can be used else where.
