Meet Our Latest Winners!

Well this year is my 4th year of entering advents and normally I have a very good month for wins which normally includes at least 1 biggy normally worth around £200 but after a week of entering the only wins I was winning was a few prizes from November comps and although they were lovely prizes I was starting to wonder why I was entering all these advents daily and not winning 1 ... then it happened about 7 days in I won on the Charlotte Olympia instant win and won some £500 shoes. Then wins were coming in from lots of advents like a rc helicopter and an iPod shuffle but also still had wins from my normally non advent comps and one of my best wins this month was a email to say "CONGRATULATIONS YOU HAVE WON THE TECH BUNDLE WORTH £766". I couldn't believe it there was over 10,000 entries and I got picked :) I have received 1 box already but still waiting for a gaming bundle .... so this December my wins have come to nearly £1500 ... not a bad Xmas after all.

I have had a really lean spell with no wins for at least 2 months. Then I won a brilliant Tactus iPad case for my wife & that seems to have broken the hex. Since then I've won two prizes for the dog and a toiletries set, all within a week! It just goes to show that you have to keep plugging away when the wins dry up!

A change from last years 0 wins on the advent competitions. So far I've won:

- SENNHEISER Momentum M2 in-ear headphones that retail around £100.

- A pasta maker from Zizzi which my girlfriend and I have been wanting to get for a while.

- A pair of spiderweb earrings from Charlotte Olympia which my girlfriend loves.

- 50,000 Avios points to spend on theatre trip/hotel stays or flights. I might save them for flights to somewhere like Venice, which seem to cost only 30,000 points for two return tickets!

Thank you Prizefinder! I really enjoy comping and it is a very relaxing hobby after work. Theprizefinder site is so easy to use and I love the range of competitions. I've been entering competitions whenever I can for the last 2 years but only won one prize so far. That was until I received a WEM a few weeks ago saying I'd won some Olay products. A couple of weeks later the prize arrived in amongst the online Christmas shopping parcels. A lovely surprise!

I couldn't believe my luck when I received an email from Mumsnet letting me know I'd won the 3 day family holiday to Santas Lapland in Finland. Still didn't believe it when they called to book it all up. Only now that we've returned from our trip and nobody asked me for payment for the holiday do I finally believe it. It was worth almost £3000, which we could never afford in a million years, so I'm so grateful to have been the lucky winner and the 3 of us had an amazing time. Got to meet actual Santa and his Elves. Went on a husky ride driven by my Husband who was in his element, a reindeer ride, a spot of ice fishing. The list goes on! Had a lovely gala dinner on our final night, with so much delicious food to enjoy. Thank you Prize Finder and Mumsnet. If never have been able to go otherwise!

I won't exaggerate when I say I've had crazy 6 months thanks to ThePrizeFinder. The total value of my winnings is way over £1,500! I started to lose track of my winnings so I thought of the idea to write everything down and take picture of it. Being a mum at home who doesn't work, I would normally sell my winnings or keep them as a treat (Christmas at the moment) but I've decided to treat myself with one of my latest winnings. This month my husband and I are cerebrating our 10-year anniversary and I am going to wear this dress from Jones + Jones for this special occasion. I have been comping for about 2 and a half years and have seen a lot of people win iPads and many more saying they'd like to and that prize had also eluded me, then I got an email saying 'Congratulations!' and at first I thought it was one of those that tell you who won and it isn't you - until I read on and saw I'd won an iPad! I've only had a few small wins in the last few months but I'd give up lots of little wins for this kind of prize, so it seems my new strategy has paid off - and to top it off, I've just had an email to say I've won £500 of vouchers with Velvet tissues!

Absolute Radios 'Send a gift to a loved one thanks to the Post Office' competition, nominate a friend or relative to receive a gift and give a reason why they deserve it. And she does deserve it, she has nothing to wear after losing so much weight and changing size and shape meant nothing fit anymore. Now she is set to receive £500 worth of vouchers for a new wardrobe, certainly put a smile on her face, although I wasn't great at talking on radio, I'm glad I did :)

I started comping, mostly via ThePrizeFinder.com, a couple of months ago. I must admit I didn't really expect much to come of it, but I figured I had a bit of "down time" every morning before work and I may as well fill it with something.

A month later I received an email from Entertainment Focus telling me I was the winner of their competition for a Defense Grid 2 Steam key (a PC game) and a Gioteck HC-5 wireless gaming headset - a total of about £75 in prizes! The game arrived a day or so later, and the headset a month after that due to stock problems, but I'm really happy with both. A great win for an avid gamer!

I'm now well and truly converted to comping thanks to ThePrizeFinder, and am looking forward to (hopefully) many more wins!
