I had a moderate break from Comping due to work commitments but decided to rev things up, focus on positive thinking and being grateful for what I already have ...and enter some christmas comps! Thanks to the Prizefinder on Facebook I saw The Times hourly Christmas giveaway and although I had a busy day in work I used my short breaks to remind myself to enter as often as I could throughout the day .. A working lunch let's say!
Only days later I was chuffed to bits to receive a WEM saying that I've win £300 of BrandAlley vouchers which I hasten to add will be very much appreciated for Christmas pressies. Thank you so much PrizeFinder for all the hard work :) Wishing all subscribers a happy and successful Christmas.

I've been entering competitions for months to no avail and my family have just laughed at the amount of time I spend doing them. However, they are not laughing now. In August I won 2 cans of Soft and Gentle deodorant and some Real India tea. In November I won kinesiology session, cross stitch kit and hamper and already this month I've won 6 decorative door knobs. I so thrilled by my wins and am hoping 2015 is going to be much more successful.

  • My biggest win of the year

Christmas was on the horizon when I entered a competition to win a silver heart pendant and chain with PearlsOnly. I filled in my details, and for some compers this would be enough. However, there was an opportunity to win a second prize, of a ring. This sounded like a great idea, but what to go for? I opted for the most expensive they would allow, which, I am told women, appreciate. I think you will agree that it looks a nice prize, and is worth £540.00. My wife is over the moon.

  • Love competition karma!!!

I have had an amazing few weeks of comping!! Towards the end of November I won a pushchair and car seat of my choice from the Britax twitter party! I immediately called my best friend and got her to choose which ones she wanted as she is due in Feb. They are worth £800 and she is absolutely over the moon! I then won a loft ladder worth £250 which I had delivered to my Dad. After gifting most of my prizes this year to friends/family I was absolutely amazed when I received a call last Wednesday from Magic Fm!!!!! I had been picked as one of the winners of an Olay pamper weekend in London that weekend! I chose to take my mum and as you can see we had a great time. There were 5 winners each with a guest so the 10 of us were treated to massages, make overs, champagne/food and given goodie bags from Olay which included £100 cash each!!! We were checked in to a hotel near Hyde Park and treated to dinner and a show in the West End! We had fabulous front row dress circle seats to Miss Saigon and it was brilliant! Everyone keeps telling me it was karma from being so generous with my wins....maybe they're right! I love being able to share this fab hobby with my loved ones :)

  • Best Month Yet!

I just had my best month yet for wins. Not only did I win 11 competitions, I won my biggest one yet! I won the 'Win the home page competition' with At Home shopping which included over £500 worth of lovely gifts, 20 items in total! One of the items was out of stock so they asked me if I wanted to wait for it to come back in stock or take £190 credit to spend online. Thinking of Christmas, I took the credit and ordered a further 19 items which covered my Christmas presents for family and friends! When my first box arrived from at home shopping the items were even better than they looked online and I had great fun choosing gifts for family and friends for Christmas. Can't wait for my second box to arrive now!

  • River Island - The Fault in our Stars Comp WIN

I have just started entering these competitions over the past 2-3 weeks and have always been skeptical as to whether they are real or not and have always thought of them either being a scam or one those competitions that "no one ever wins". But about 3 weeks ago a friend of mine told me how they had won so I thought i'd give it a go in my spare time.

I entered the River Island "Fault in our Stars" competition and one day I found a congratulations email in my inbox. At first I didnt believe that I had won as I never win anything so I rang up the River Island head office to find out and it turned out that I had won.

The prize is amazing and I am in the process of selecting the concert I would like to go to. I won a the Fault in our Stars DVD, a 2 night hotel stay in central London with breakfast both mornings for 2 people, an activity day that consists of climbing the O2 building, a meal for 2 for the value of up to £60 per person and 2 concert tickets to a concert of my choice.

I am delighted to have won the prize. It is still hard to believe. It has definitely encouraged me to enter lots more competitions with ThePrizeFinder.com and hopefully more wins are just around the corner. This competition win is like the perfect Christmas gift and gives me a great weekend to look forward to.

  • Get In The Game!

At the beginning of this month Movember began again and the boyfriend started modelling his beard as moustache. I logged online and saw a competition being run with the actual 'Movember' website that gave you a chance to appear as an avatar in the new Football manager game. The boyfriend Loves the game and is a games tester too so it seemed quite fitting, we have always discussed about how many players don't look realistic and that they don't have any individuality, well this is obviously about to change as my boyfriend has a full beard, dyed blue hair and a moustache!
I couldn't believe it when he'd treated me to a lovely sit-down meal this past week and I checked my emails.. he was over the moon! He's always trying to tell his best friend why football games are so good and now he definitely has a reason - because he's in one!

  • A bedtime story

We were about to move house. I was facing a decision. I needed a new bed, as my big old wooden sleigh bed was too big and wooden for the new house. After mulling over what to do, as I hadn't budgeted buying a bed, I finally decided to sell the old one.

the following day my partner asked if I'd had any emails about the bed. So I checked my emails. The old bed hadn't sold but I had an email from Very and Silentnight telling me I had won a brand new bed!!

The timing - you just couldn't make it up!! I had it delivered to my new house, so now we have a lovely new bed in our lovely new house!! Perfect x

  • A monster win (sort of)

I joined ThePrizeFinder about 6 months ago and spent a week entering a few competitions but quickly lost interest. I decided to try again a couple of weeks ago having been spurred on by a colleague who regularly enters and wins competitions including about 4 holidays/weekend breaks in the last few months. I was however surprised when 2 days after I starting entering again I won a facebook competition to win a Dr Who book. It literally took seconds to enter and all I had to do was the like the page and say which was my favourite Dr Who monster. The win came just at the right time as I was about to buy something similar for my Dr Who mad daughter's birthday which is in a couple of weeks. Although it's only a small prize, it has spurred me on into giving comping a proper chance this time.

A few weeks ago I was told I was one of the lucky winners of the co-op/coke competition where you had to txt to win a prize!

The prize was your own name or names printed on Coca Cola bottles!!!

Now my name is very unique and its hard to find ANYWHERE as it is spelt differently!

This was a fab thing to win for me and I won 6 bottles of each of our names as you can see in the picture!

Love my hobby and good luck in the advents peeps!
