Meet Our Latest Winners!

Well Theprizefinder.com friends , it's been a quiet few weeks on the winning front and life has been pretty hectic. But the winning stories have kept me going and slowly but surely I am getting back into my comping stride. Small wins but all much appreciated: lingerie, cookbook, beauty stuff, face cream, BBQ beer night tickets, fashion show tickets and to satisfy my HUGE sweet tooth Chocolate Show tickets and Hotel Chocolat goodies! Yum! Thanks once again for posting up all of these fab competitions and making my hobby so sweet!

Thank you so so much for my win! My friend told me about theprizefinder.com a long time ago but I didn't think to check it out until early this summer. How silly I was! A few weeks after I first had a look at this website, I saw a contest to win a GoPro Hero 3+ by uploading a video of the Tour de France. I had just gone to see the Tour that day and fortunately I had had enough sense to take some footage! I uploaded it and then waited and waited. A few weeks later (when I was just beginning to forget about it) I got a message saying I had won the GoPro! I could not believe my eyes. I replied and after a few issues, my prize was sent to me a couple of months later. This wouldn't have been possible without theprizefinder. The GoPro was my first real win and I can't wait to see what else is in store for me.

We are very happy for October. We have won a lovely monkey pod wood, fair trade, elephant lamp stand. This prize was through Myakka and I have to say their customer service was second to none.
We have a copy of Painless on DVD from Horror Asylum. It looks fascinating and I'm looking forward to watching it.
We won some very nice Washi tape for crafting. It came in a really nice box and I've been decorating things with my niece, including toenails. We have jbmumofone to thank for this.
I had a win via Rock 'n' Roller Baby. It's a great recipe book specialising in fruit dishes. There's loads of great ideas to share and get stuck into.
On the way we have a Brainbox animals game thanks to life with little men. I'll be having some fun when my box arrives. Watching for the delivery man as we speak.

I comp on and off mainly when the other half is on his PS3 & in my lunch breaks.

Just the other day I had a Facebook notification from Shreddies as I won a spooky sleepover at a very haunted castle up north for 4 friends eeeekk - we are off next weekend, can't wait! (see winning pic)

I especially think the creative comps are worth a go as less people enter!

Last year I entered a Sunday Times Competition and won 3 nights in Dubrovnik for 2. My wife and I have recently came back and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The place is steeped in history and although a bit touristy, it isn't as bad as London. The people were friendly and very welcoming. Our hotel was about 1.5km from the Old Town so the walk was nice especially as we never saw a drop of rain and the temperature was about 30 degrees centigrade everyday. I must admit though, going to the Old Town was easy as it was downhill - going back to the hotel after dinner in one of the many restaurants was hard work!

I have been doing competitions with ThePrizeFinder since January and have won a couple of smaller prizes. In September, I had real payback for the hard work. I have just had a lovely four nights holiday in Norfolk with Forest Holidays. The prize was a £500 voucher. I decided to use the voucher in October when I would not normally consider going on holiday. Cycling through the forest meant we could indulge ourselves in the evening, without too much guilt! It was really nice to win a prize I could share with my wife.

I love winning anything but by far the best wins are the ones that give my daughter and I a memory.
Least month I won some Dahlia divin perfume and £100 Go Ape vouchers, but as my daughter is under 10 and couldn't come I gave them to a friend.
Yesterday I got an email from mumsnet to say I had won a family ticket to Disney on Ice: 100 Years of Magic for next week, and as my own little princess turns 6 the following week, it's perfect timing and will give us a fantastic memory.

We have just come back from a trip to Greece, the scenery was amazing, the food fantastic, although the Greek coffee was a bit too strong for my British tummy. The hotel/apartment was amazing. couldn't ask for better. Had a week of lots of sun. laying on the beach catching rays. I found an amazing bakers with desserts that were delicious. I was a regular customer there. lol
Sadly the weather turned bad for the last 2 days. but I've got a nice tan to show off.

This month has been a very lucky month! I won 8 boxes of Dorset museli from their 'spring to win' daily competition and a boy's alien toy, not really sure what that is until it arrives...

But by far my biggest win was a back to college goodie bundle from Pound Stretcher. I didn't even know that Pound Stretcher sold half of these things? I actually won it the day before I went back to university, talk about good timing, can never have enough pans, baking trays and dishes.

I put in for quite a lot of competitions, and average one win a month. It is always nice to win something for all the family, and have just won a year's subscription to the Gourmet Society. It gives up to 25% off meals at over 6,000 restaurants in the UK. There are some local restaurants that are in the scheme, and we will soon be going on a holiday that I won a few months ago. I have a card, and a handy app for finding the nearest restaurants. Sounds great.
