  • A great Xmas win!

I've been comping now for 2 years now on and off. Normally I go through mad phases of entering hundreds then getting distracted with the daily chores of life such as work and washing, cleaning etc. These few months have been no different and I always manage to get a few good wins in.
In December so far I'd only won a sherlock Holmes hardback book worth £20 so you can imagine my shock when a parcel rocked up at my house with 5 horror DVDs! I was over the moon as I hadn't been notified of a win but remember entering it. I love horror films and it's been great to watch some!

My new year's resolution is to comp every day, and it wouldn't be possible without ThePrizeFinder so thanks!

I didn't have the time to devote to the Advents this year unfortunately although I tried to enter my favourites each day.

When I received this stand mixer I had won previously I wasn't expecting much else, thankfully I was wrong! As well as winning small bits and pieces in one day I received 3 WEM's, I had won a £20 Ebay voucher, Phillip Kingsley Advent print and an LG mobile phone worth £330. Next day I discovered I had won the full range of Three Barrells brandy.

I am so pleased and I'm looking forward to receiving my prizes in the New year, and of course entering as much as possible too.

    Have a lucky 2015 everyone! X

  • Never seen our daughter so happy!

My fave win of this year has to be tickets to see Ant & Decs Takeaway Live in Glasgow. Since the daughter (23) has loved them since she was tiny it was the show of a lifetime for her and she made the trip of over 400 miles! She lives down south and has to travel over 200 miles to visit us with her son - then with grandad on babysitting duty the daughter and I made the 250 mile train journey to Glasgow. Although the travel & hotel weren't included in the prize, we did the whole overnight trip for less than £150 for the 2 of us with return trains & 4 star hotel :) Plus when we arrived at the arena for the show we found out the tickets were VIP! So we had an amazing time and a lovely girly night away thanks to my amazing hobby!

  • Alton Towers Christmas stay

    Saturday, December 27, 2014

I've been ferociously comping properly for a year now. I love theme parks and since I was a child I have ALWAYS wanted to go to the Alton Towers hotel but it's way out of my price range, so imagine how ecstatic I was to win a Christmas weekend there for four. I went with three uni friends who I hadn't seen for years and it was the perfect reunion. We stayed in a fab room, got a three course Christmas dinner and breakfast, went to the Splash Landings Water Park and played Extraordinary Golf (pictured). It was my best win ever. Thank you so much Prize Finder! :)

I have been doing competitions for a few years and never won a Christmas one until this month. It was via a Facebook one and found out very soon after entering by email that I had won. I was lucky enough to win a big box of posh crackers and biscuits. Perfect for visiting family, friends and us munching on, we've never tried them before and are very nice. Many thanks always to the Prizefinder the best comping website around and Happy New Year xx

  • Preparation Prevents Poor Performance...

Well the last few months have been difficult for me to put any quality time in on the comping side and it's shown - I've not had many wins lately. I decided to try some of the advents instead...sadly I was not one of the lucky ones who won on the Charlotte Olympia instant but I did win on the Accessorize one...I won a lovely little purse! Unfortunately that was the highlight of December...

I did also win a magazine subscription with Diet Coke but just went to redeem and the code has now run out! Oh dear!

So my New Years Resolution is to be a bit more prepared for comping and hopefully glory awaits!

Keep up the good work compers, and thanks as always to The PrizeFinder for all the best tips!

The 4th August was a very lucky and exciting day, I won a gm cricket bat, another nove, 2 weeks use of a personal trainer, and an audi r8 driving experience all.I'm one day. There was a quiet spellandto but to round the year off £150 to spend at Seasalt, arriving on Christmas eve, all thanks to prizefinder :-)

I have been in bed with a nasty dose of flu and so it was a lovely surprise yesterday afternoon when I checked my messages and had a "congratulations!" email from the Delia Smith website informing me I had won a digital thermapen (professional cooking thermometer) worth £57!
I was even more surprised when it arrived so quickly in the post this morning.
My win has spurred me on to keep going with my comping!

I am very grateful for being a member of PrizeFinder because I have won some wonderful prizes in the past. I had just got back into comping this year and I entered a last minute competition and I won a trip to the hairdressers this past weekend which I was very chuffed about. I had been desiring to go to the hairdressers in a while so this made my day! Thank you PrizeFinder.
