Meet Our Latest Winners!

After entering competitions for about a year I finally received an email to tell me I was the winner of a meal for 2 in a top restaurant in London thanks to Hot Dinners.

The meal was three courses and we got a bottle of wine and a cocktail each. The restaurant was amazing, great atmosphere fantastic service and delicious food. It was a fantastic treat for me and my husband and a great way for us to celebrate his birthday in somewhere we wouldn't normally be able to afford to go.

Been comping for a few years now, and have won a few small things which keep the kids busy. But this was one prize that topped the rest as there was something for everyone. And they are certainly going to enjoy having fun as an activity that all the family can do.

Well, what a lovely surprise for the kids...when the delivery man knocked on the door and delivered a huge box! After ripping into the cardboard, tearing off the bubble wrap, and opening the beautiful wicker basket - they discovered a hamper of wonderful baking goodies. Many tubs of decorations, several sets of baking sets, some moldable icing, packets of flour, and so...so...much.

So now the kids can't wait for the Christmas holidays as they want to get baking. Shall we make the gingerbread cookies, or the chocolate gateau first? But many thanks to the Co-operative website for this prize which we are all going to enjoy :)

I hadn't won anything for ages and got a bit disheartened with entering hundreds of comps daily to receive nothing. I had a break for a few months then on a lazy Sunday morning I saw a comp pop up for Hotel Chocolat in the Sunday Times, one prize an hour, a selection of chocolate goodies and a £250.00 gift card to spend online or in store at Hotel Chocolat. So I entered and guess what, I won!!!. The parcel was delivered whilst I was on holiday, what a lovely welcoming home gift. Of course I am now back comping away!!

So I think April was the last time that I won anything! It's been difficult to keep the motivation to carry on. I recently entered the USC competition to win a pair of KSwiss shoes. I've been needing new shoes for a long time, and have been unable to afford new ones myself, they came at the right time.

I'm hopeful for the future, hoping I'll win a few more things in the advent competitions. Good Luck to you all :)

I have entering competitions since the begining of the year and not had much luck. I recieved in the post today a Pro Plan Cat Blanket, which I didn't even know I had won.
I was well chuffed! Well my cats won't get much use out of it as it is going in the car so my dog can sleep on it when we go for our trips.

I may just keep entering now as little surprises like that make my day.

This month has been completely crazy! I've spent almost 2 years entering competitions almost every day trying to win a holiday. It had never happened until last Monday when I won 3 holidays... In one day!

Firstly, I was selected as a finalist in the Damart 'Art of Feeling Good' competition, for writing about my recent biodiversity research expedition to Indonesia with my students. The 5 finalists had to campaign for Facebook likes (which I hate doing) and I came second. The difference between prizes for first and second place was minor. I won a 3 night break at Nidd Hall, North Yorkshire for two people full board with full use of the spa facilities and entertainment. My friend and I are going for a Christmas shopping break! Also included was a choice of activity for another weekend. I chose an intensive cookery masterclass with celebrity chef Jean Christophe Novelli. This includes a stay in 5* London hotel for the weekend whilst I'm there. I also won some vouchers to spend in their online store.

Less than 20 minutes later, still buzzing from my first win, I received a WEM saying I'd won a weeks ski holiday for 4 in the French Alps with ski club of GB! I absolutely could not believe my luck. It includes chalet accommodation and ski passes, worth almost £2,000. I can't wait to go with friends and learn to ski, which has been on my bucket list.

Throughout the month I also won £50 to spend on cosmetics at saveonmakeup.co.uk (awesome site you should all check it out, really good discounts) and I've included a photo of the goodies I chose. I also won a double page advert in a magazine, which I used to help out my friend's business, a professional post Christmas oven clean to save me doing my most hated household chore, a case of rice crispie squares, pair of tickets to London dungeon and a pair of smart wool socks.

I think it's safe to say this has been my best month of wins ever, with prizes worth over £3,500. Good luck in the advents next month everyone!

I won an iPad with Laimon Fresh in October - I was stunned. An iPad has been on my wish list for a few years, I wanted one to enhance my daughter's education.
I submitted an autumn theme photo to them in a collage style - and we won! I am ridiculously over the moon about it. Truly grateful too, she's really super clever and I know the iPad will accelerate her learning more than I could ever help her with.

I have been panicking as I am nowhere near ready for Christmas, although thanks to The Prizefinder I'm a little more prepared now!This month I won a 'my first balance bike' from netmums, a lovely little present for my nephew. A bottle of B Balenciaga 50ml from The Perfume Shop Twitter comp, the perfect gift for my mother. I also won a couple of relaxation CDs which will be a nice little gift for....ummm....me! I have been comping for a few years now and have been lucky enough to win all sorts of amazing prizes....all thanks to Prizefinder! however I was beginning to think my luck was fading after having quite a long drought on prizes! However, quite recently I was delighted to get a knock on the door to be greeted with a huge box full of Ellas kitchen goodies including pouches and two cookbooks - perfect for our baby daughter Lola! My faith in competitions has been newly restored and I'm back entering with a vengeance!
