I've started comping more or less 2 years ago. I've been lucky enough to win some lovely prizes and a few trips and that always keeps me going. On top of my gadget wishlist there was always the infamous iPad...ohhh, I've probably entered hundreds of competitions, without any luck...until now! Last week I received an e-mail from Jackpotjoy, informing me that I've won an iPad in their FB promotion....I just couldn't be happier!!!! I've always dreamed of having one, it's just so useful..and at last I can have it! It hasn't arrived yet but really looking forward to receiving it!

Back in January I was reading a blog post Di wrote and it encouraged us to make snowmen and take photos as there was a surge in "snow photo creative competitions".

The attached photo is when my prize arrived in the post. No clues on the jiffy envelope who the sender was, no "congrats" written on a compliments slip.... just the DVD with a bright post it note. WATCH THIS OR THE BUNNY GETS IT!

It's not a big win but it is the best I've had in a long time as it was just such a funny way to send it.

It was on the 1st February that I had a win on Twitter for a children's reading system and was so happy as I thought one for the Christmas box, then my friend who got me into comping rung my mobile about 5 past 5 in the evening shouting at me "Had I seen what I had won?". After a conversation and me telling her she was lying and to get off the phone, I went and checked Facebook. Much to my surprise she was correct, I had won a family holiday to Florida with car hire included. I couldn't eat, I was in a daze for the rest of the evening and all weekend until they rung me on the Monday to confirm. In fact February was a great month for me in the comping world as I had lots of wins including a Maxi Cosi Mura plus pram and Maxi Cosi Bubble car seat. My prize total was roughly £7201 for February, my best month by far, so keep at it people.

I have been comping for a couple of years now, In October I received an email telling me I had won a night in the Schiaparelli Suite at the Mayfair Hotel, I was so excited. We chose to go on March 15th 2013. Our Train tickets arrived and we set off. We were picked up at London Bridge by a chauffeur and taken to the hotel which was truly the most fantastic I have ever stayed in. The staff couldn't do enough for us. The prize also had £250 of Selfridges vouchers so we set off to spend them. While we were there we met Chris Eubank who truly is a real gent. I had a photo taken with him. In the evening we had dinner at The Quince restaurant which was delicious and also included in the prize. It certainly showed us how the other half live. We were so well looked after we really didn't want to go home and would loved to have stayed forever. I always enter as many competitions on the ThePrizefinder as I can and win several prizes a month. My friends always ask me how I win so many prizes and they try and enter a couple and don't understand when they don't win, but the way to win is just enter as many as possible and don't give up, and the prizes will start rolling in.

After winning a couple of holidays and money over the years on radio comps my friends called me Jammy.. I used to believe you had to be in it win it.
After the birth of my son 18 months ago I found your site and started entering competitions on Facebook with a couple of mini wins (wrapping paper, kitkats, mugs, makeup). I was chuffed but didn't start proper comping until about 3 months ago.. Just as I was starting to wain ThePrizefinder advertised a comp for a trolley dash in the new 99p store in Coventry. I was excited as I emailed as I live just down the road and couldn't believe my luck when i got a phone call saying I had won and was I free the next day?
So on March 1st my sister and I found ourselves running around the store... it was a dream come true and we haven't laughed like that in a long time:-) I grabbed approx 90 pounds worth of stuff....mainly sweets.
On finding out I had won a lot of friends commented on my jammy win... I smiled as I asked how many of them had entered??

I only recently started using ThePrizefinder properly (I was a bit of a technophobe). In the last month or two, I started to find a routine with entering. 2 weeks ago I was all for giving up and then from nowhere I got some lovely wins:

I just love entering competitions, especially using ThePrizefinder. It's so easy to use, and I can pick and choose what I would really like to win. Last week I had a phone call from the mailbox in Birmingham. Me being cynical thought they were trying to sell me something, but no I had won a competition. Wonderful and I shrieked as they told me I had won £500 to spend at Harvey Nichols in the Mailbox. Never had I even been in there, so off I went for the day with my mum and was treated to champagne and the most entertaining helpful staff. I loved every single minute and came home with some lovely goodies that I would never have bought as I would never have been able to afford them. Thank you ThePrizefinder for finding such great comps for us all to enter.

Since December, I have entered 1000+ competitions and have had a real dry spell with no wins. It can really get you down and you sometimes feel like you are putting in the hours and really trying your best for very little if no return or reward. So, I was very relieved to get an email from ThePrizefinder telling me that my previous winners story had been picked to receive the £50 shopping voucher prize, which turned out to be a £50 Argos gift card. Although I am still disappointed that nothing has come of any of the comps I have entered this year, at least ThePrizefinder has come to my rescue with a really useful win! Thanks for choosing my winners story, it was just in time as we welcomed our first baby girl into the world in February so I spent the voucher on a much needed bit of baby equipment, an electric steriliser! I will try and keep up comping in between baby feeds and hope for a big win in 2013 :-)

On the 8th of March, I tuned into Appliances Online's live webstream - wishing but not really thinking that I'd win.

Towards the end, you had to upload a picture of your washing machine to win a new washing machine.

I quickly yelled at hubby to help me upload a picture we have of our naughty cat Minx, who LOVES to sneak into the washing machine, and then gives you a look like 'Yes. I did it again'.

I watched, and to my dismay, another picture was shown, and a number was put up to call. I didn't write the # down as it was the last competition of the night.

A few minutes later, it turned out that the picture the guy had posted was a FAKE and they were selecting another picture that was uploaded to thier website.

I quickly typed in below my upload that I didn't have thier number - just in case.. and sure enough, my picture of Minx was flashed up! I quickly dialled, and now, I am waiting to take delivery of a new washing machine. (Hopefully Minx won't like to hide in this one!)

My Best friend Jodie is a massive Beyonce fan and was overjoyed when Beyonce announced she was doing a world tour including the UK.

When tickets went on sale for "The Mrs Carter Show World Tour" she tried and tried to get tickets, sitting on the computer and phone trying over and over with no joy.
Sadly after just minutes all dates sold out and my bestie was gutted she missed out.

Then when they released 2 new London dates she got her hopes up again but again missed out on tickets after the sold out in record time.

She was devastated and had even been looking on some very expensive ticket resale sites where tickets where selling 3 or 4 times face value much more than she could afford.

What I hadn't told her is I had entered a competition I found on ThePrizefinder to win two tickets.

Being Beyoncé, a very popular artist, and a sold out tour I knew it would be a hugely popular competition and I didn't rate my chances of winning so I thought it was best not to mention it and get her hopes up.

Imagine my joy and surprise when I received an email to say I had won. It was a great moment for me but it was an even more amazing moment ringing my best friend and telling her the news.

Needless to say she was over the moon and if I am honest no one deserves a treat more than her.
She has had a very difficult time lately with a poorly son with a rare life limiting illness and she has been quite poorly herself. I have wanted to do something special for her for a while and this is a dream come true.

This hobby is the best anyway but it's even better when it also benefits those you love the most. Thank you ThePrizefinder. Without this site I would never have won and been able to spoil my best friend who I love millions.
