I wasn't convinced about the authenticity of doing online competitions until my partner started doing them last year and had a few nice household wins, nothing worth more than about £50 per prize but enough to make me want to give it a go myself! Within my first few days I couldn't believe my luck when I won a case of beer through a Facebook competition that I simply had to like and share! That was in June. And to my surprise a large white van pulled up outside my house last week with a princess musical potty I entered for my daughter who is only 6 months at the moment but it's a nice win to put away! We are hoping that between us we may be able to win something we cant afford ourselves such as a holiday or some cash to help us out. Either way we are fighting over the computer each night now!

I started using the Prize Finder at the beginning of August and have won many prizes throughout the month. I have been lucky enough to win cocoa powder, nail art, hair products, tablet case, bikini and razor, a picnic hamper worth £60, a book, silver bunting necklace, Liz Earle cleanse and polish, face masks, Fudges hamper, £25 Amazon voucher, mascara AND a baking masterclass worth up to £160 + a Whitworths sugar goody bag!

Thank you so much to ThePrizeFinder, I will continue to use this website when I go back to university..it's lovely to win nice things I wouldn't normally be able to afford to buy. I love my new hobby so much! :)

Here are a few of my prizes (I haven't received many yet) :)

I entered the Casillero del Diablo Ultimate Diablo Burger challenge. They gave 30 prizes away. I made a pork burger with five spice, served with prawn crackers and a hot and sour chilli sauce dip. I was chosen as one of the lucky winners. They delivered the BBQ to my house. It was a rather large BBQ. We had trouble putting it together. They also delivered 6 bottles of Casillero del Diablo wine on the same day. The meat box was delivered the next day. It consisted of 4 burgers, sausages, chicken drumsticks and sirloin steak and also 4 burger buns. It was delivered on a bank holiday. It was a lovely hot day. So we enjoyed a lovely BBQ in our own garden and had plenty of wine to drink. It was a really good prize.

I have had a fantastic month for winning, but cant put it down to anything other than one of those phases!

I've won a Rough Guide and a Footprint travel guide - great because I love to travel. My biggest win was a Samsung Galaxy Tab from Appliances Online via their live stream which was very exciting.
I've won a couple of Amazon vouchers, which I always appreciate, one was from Discovery foods on Instagram. I've won a couple of things on Twitter this month too, both involving for some effort. One was a Mini fridge from Currys PC World for submitting a photo of a unique way to keep cool this summer. The second was travel speakers from Cheapflights.
Finally, I entered a photo into the MARS Milk competition for a summer of play kit back in April, and I won that out of the blue last week. The kit is FAB!

This months effort/creative competitions have paid off for me, but I have been just a bit more lucky than normal. It comes to us all, so keep going if you're in a dry spell.

No big wins for me but just a little CD. It was a CD of Tunes and Stories by The Look, from 50-connect. It has been autographed by The Look. It may be small but it was still appreciated. And you never know, it could turn the corner for some bigger wins on the horizon. They say things comes in threes, and who knows with the end of the month approaching......

Hi, I joined Theprizefinder about 6 months ago. After my mum won an iPad I decided that competitions might actually be worth trying and boy was I right!. Within the last 6 months I have won:

I am pretty amazed that a hour or 2 a day doing competitions can result in this and I have to say I'm hooked!

Here's a picture of my favorite prize so far! The picture was taken by my dad as he's a photographer and I just had to upload the picture and they put it on a blind of my choice.

As for the rest, I love the t-shirt and wear it regularly, I'm giving the iPhone 5 case to my best friend as she smashed her phone up after having it for a day.. don't want a repeat, and the solar charger has saved me on a number of occasions from a flat battery!

I've been doing competitions for around a year and have won some small prizes, but a few months ago I received a call telling me I had won a 3 day cruise with Scottish Marine Safari through a competition with Scottish Field Magazine. I didn't believe it at first, but sure enough the company followed up to make the arrangements and I've just been on the prize trip. My husband and I spent 3 wonderful days aboard Orlik looking at breathtaking scenery and wildlife with lovely hosts Michael, Lorna and their dog Belle. An experience of a lifetime - thank you PrizeFinder!

Harringtons recently ran a competition with Pets at Home, where you had to correctly identify which stores were stocking their dog foods.

I was over the moon when I was told that I’d won a 5kg bag … and I even got my favourite flavour Turkey and Veg.

When the postie brought it, I was straight on the ‘Dog and Bone’ to Harringtons to say a big Thank You for the most woof-tastic win ever!

I started comping in January this year after winning some tickets for our local Theatre over the Christmas Period.

I love the feeling of a win - those little butterflies and you hear the post drop on the doormat and the warm flush when you open a winning email makes you even more determined to enter more comps - I'm sure there is not enough hours in a day!!

I found ThePrizeFinder at the end of March and its really been worth its weight in gold, our children are always asking if there was anything exciting in the post this morning!

I feel so lucky and will be going in January with my partner I can't wait. Its been a hard year and we have not been away together in 3 years so for us it will be a real treat.
