I always loved winning beauty products...it might be because I can't spend much on skin care or make-up, but still wish to look after my skin and look good. Most of the things I use myself, the rest would go to my niece who is very grateful. I haven't won anything beauty related recently (missed out on the Stella giveaway completely, though entering almost every time) so it was a very pleasant surprise when I received an e-mail from Naturisimo that I've won their monthly review giveaway and the prize is a Melvita hamper. As you can imagine I was over the moon! I have never tried Melvita before but it's organic and I like brands that emphasise bio techniques.
I've just received my hamper yesterday, and it's a massive one, coming in a cute basket (which I will use in future picnics); so very happy with it! And the beauty of this prize - all my reviews I've left on their website was after I won a similar hamper (Neom Organics) around a year ago from Naturisimo.

Just a day before my birthday I have received a letter through my post box with £500 Tesco vouchers, from Halo Protects Show us your knickers competition.

This is the best win so far for this year. I have also won 5 beauty prizes from Stella beauty competition. It proves you can really win,so I'll keep going!!!

I have been entering comps for many years but sometimes a prize comes along that is truly magical. My young nephew Sam is a mad Arsenal supporter and I managed to win two VIP tickets with hospitality to the recent Emirates Cup matches. Sam and his dad watched two matches on the Sunday and although Arsenal lost Sam was so excited to be in the executive box. This was an online comp details listed on Theprizefinder. Guess who is now a very favourite aunt. I have also been lucky with the Krave Alton towers comp on Twitter. My latest win this month has been a family ticket to Cadbury World via a text comp.

I won three types of insect repellent from Ultrathon via the Go4awalk website after the link was published on this site. It may not be the most glamorous of prizes, but it is most welcome as I like to take country walks, so the chance of getting bitten has now been reduced thanks to this prize.

I have had some big wins and small wins thanks to ThePrizeFinder but winning something that benefits my everyday life is the huge perk of comping. I entered the Bio oil story of the week on the Facebook group well over a month ago. Then out of the blue, I received an email to say they were sharing my story and sending a full sized bottle of bio oil to me, worth over £20. This is a big saving, as I use this daily. I'm always trying to find different ways to enter competitions so on a shopping trip to Morrisons I saw an advert to win 1 of 100 Marc Jacobs purses simply by buying some magnum ice creams.

To enter, you had to buy them at £3 a box then enter the receipt number into the form on the main website.

I didn't think nothing of it until the following month I got a package through the door. A brand new Marc Jacobs purse with a congratulations letter, I was gobsmacked.

I was even more surprised when I googled the purse to find it was worth £175!

I have only been doing competitions for about a year but have been absolutely amazed at how much I have won already. Just a sample in the picture. I bought my computer specifically to do competitions on line and have been stunned at the amount there is to enter every day. I always use ThePrizeFinder site as I find it so easy to use and it is free (thank you). I have just found out how to load my photographs and have been entering a few photographic competitions as well (no wins here yet but early days). It is also great to read about other peoples wins so keep comping everybody you never know what you are going to win next. Such a great hobby. I am still hoping for a 'big' prize but am very happy with the way things are going at the moment.

I only started entering comps for the last 3 weeks after watching extreme sweepstakers USA. I have been going through a bad couple of years financially, health-wise and my father passed away - so I thought I would give comping a chance to see if I could actually win anything. At the beginning I was going through Hot UK Deals - but found the layout a bit annoying - then I stumbled upon ThePrizeFinder and have been using it ever since! I've been comping mainly to get goodies for the kiddies or me & have won several great prizes over the past year. I was subscribed to other competition clubs but a financial fall forced me to give up on those and I use Theprizefinder as it's free! Low and my behold my biggest win yet came with a phone call to say I'd won a £1,000 cheque on the Capital Fm/Asda Fuel competition where I had to enter my details and the answer Theprizefinder gave for advice! Simply cannot believe it, Never thought I would win! The call came on the first day of the kids summer hols too- couldn't be better! Thank you SO much Theprizefinder! :)

If there is one thing that I truly believe, it is that there is no such thing as luck. This is why I love Theprizefinder so much - because I can find and enter so many competitions from one easy website. I've only been a member a short while, but so far I've won £125 from a photo competition, and a £250 B&Q voucher by writing about a garden project.
