Meet Our Latest Winners!

It was early last year I found this Veetee rice recipe competition on the Prizefinder  website. I sent in a Salmon Parmesan Arancini recipe together with a photo of the dish.  I was so thrill when I found out that I have won the top prize  £2500 Thomson Holiday  gift card. . There were other smaller prizes like  two £1000 and five £500 Thomson Gift card too. As well as the gift card Veete also printed all the winning recipe on their recipe book. What an honour.

My comping goal in 2016 was to win a holiday, and when I eventually won the Top Man trip of a lifetime to Austin, Texas, I was over the moon!  I thought that would be the last of the big wins for a while, and then a couple of weeks ago, I found out that I won the Escapism 3 night five star break for 2 to the Chedi Muscat in Oman.  Wow.  I will be heading there in the summer (the hottest time of the year...) with my wife.  I have never been there so this is very exciting and an incredible opportunity to stay in a luxurious hotel for free!  My advice to you out there is keep entering those competitions.... every single one of them :)  Good Luck.

So excited to receive email seeing i had won tickets to Eftling theme park in Holland, after entering competitions since the summer with no luck i almost gave up. Hopefully there will be more wins in 2017.

As soon as I found out I was expecting i hit the baby comps hard! I entered every car seat, every cot, every pram competition going! I won lots of little items, blankets, dummies etc! But I really wanted to win the biggest item for my baby daughter..... a pram! 

She's 12 weeks old now but i finally won a pram, not just any pram, a really gorgeous expensive one, a stokke explory with ok magazine worth a whopping £1,039! To say im over the moon Is an understatement!

Today a brown envelope slipped through the letterbox. A quick rush to see what it was....It is a very useful prize of a Zap-It gadget. A blue and green tiny gadget that you use to treat mosquito and other biting insect bites.

This is very useful for us as we are often out and about near water or in woods where we do often get bitten. So especially for our children, this gadget will be well used. We don't often carry medicines to combat these bites, so with it's little key ring clip we can just add it to our keys. Always on us then.

The year got off to a good start when a neighbour handed me a large parcel she had taken in. It contained three Drumond Park games with something for all the family. This was from a Yours Magazine competition listed on Prizefinder but I didn't get the letter telling me of my win until over a week later.
Since then there have been small prizes. An Um bongo voucher from their Advent comp on FB, another Hobgoblin pen and a stick of Hobgoblin rock from the daily entry comp and earlier this week a microwave mug and can of soup in the Crosse and Blackwell daily entry draw. Small prizes maybe, but even small wins are fun and often prove the most useful, too. As I had a computer fail mid month and was unable to enter comps for several days I am very happy with this collection. Whilst I could well have come across several of these comps by searching, having all the info together in one place on Prizefinder is a real bonus and I can fully sympathise with the problems the site has had this month.

I have been using Prize Finder for about six months, comping when between working/family to pass the time and I have had a few small wins such as a hamper just before Christmas which was very handy.

Then this January I received an email from NCP (National Car Parks) to say I had won a pair of headphones. Now I have had emails to say I have won things before which have turned out to be money off vouchers if I spend over a certain amount,,,(usually a lot!), so I was a bit sceptical.

Then less than two weeks later the postman brought me a brand new pair of Beats Solo2 wireless headphones which was great so I will be comping more now...hoping for a holiday one day..wish me luck!!!! :)
