Meet Our Latest Winners!

As soon as I found out I was expecting i hit the baby comps hard! I entered every car seat, every cot, every pram competition going! I won lots of little items, blankets, dummies etc! But I really wanted to win the biggest item for my baby daughter..... a pram! 

She's 12 weeks old now but i finally won a pram, not just any pram, a really gorgeous expensive one, a stokke explory with ok magazine worth a whopping £1,039! To say im over the moon Is an understatement! 

Love it when the postman comes with a little prize.

Today a brown envelope slipped through the letterbox. A quick rush to see what it was....It is a very useful prize of a Zap-It gadget. A blue and green tiny gadget that you use to treat mosquito and other biting insect bites.

This is very useful for us as we are often out and about near water or in woods where we do often get bitten. So especially for our children, this gadget will be well used. We don't often carry medicines to combat these bites, so with it's little key ring clip we can just add it to our keys. Always on us then.

The year got off to a good start when a neighbour handed me a large parcel she had taken in. It contained three Drumond Park games with something for all the family. This was from a Yours Magazine competition listed on Prizefinder but I didn't get the letter telling me of my win until over a week later.
Since then there have been small prizes. An Um bongo voucher from their Advent comp on FB, another Hobgoblin pen and a stick of Hobgoblin rock from the daily entry comp and earlier this week a microwave mug and can of soup in the Crosse and Blackwell daily entry draw. Small prizes maybe, but even small wins are fun and often prove the most useful, too. As I had a computer fail mid month and was unable to enter comps for several days I am very happy with this collection. Whilst I could well have come across several of these comps by searching, having all the info together in one place on Prizefinder is a real bonus and I can fully sympathise with the problems the site has had this month.

I have been using Prize Finder for about six months, comping when between working/family to pass the time and I have had a few small wins such as a hamper just before Christmas which was very handy.

Then this January I received an email from NCP (National Car Parks) to say I had won a pair of headphones. Now I have had emails to say I have won things before which have turned out to be money off vouchers if I spend over a certain amount,,,(usually a lot!), so I was a bit sceptical.

Then less than two weeks later the postman brought me a brand new pair of Beats Solo2 wireless headphones which was great so I will be comping more now...hoping for a holiday one day..wish me luck!!!! :)

I was thrilled to win a garden furniture set through a creative competition I found on prizefinder. Our old set was worn and only a bistro table, so we have upgraded hugely! It's a brilliant feeling to win such a lovely prize that we couldn't have afforded otherwise. 

Being a part-time working Mummy of three girls, I'm constantly thinking of ways to save money - so what better than entering competitions? 

I discovered theprizefinder online and really enjoy the excitement of checking Facebook, Twitter and emails just in case I'm lucky enough to win. Plus, it's a good way of filling the time whilst my children watch copious amounts of Peppa Pig and Shimmer and Shine! 

Anyway, I noticed a competition from 'Pretty you London' I've admired their slippers from afar for a while but generally wear 'Primarni' slippers, as their slippers are pricey! But I must  admit, as well as most the mummy population I wear my slippers more than any other footwear. 

So my joy when I actually won one of their competitions?? OMG!!! I was over the bloody moon! I even got to choose whichever slippers I wanted from their range!

I naturally went for the most expensive ones, they even had a bit of bling on them! (Well I might not win anything else!) 

I must admit, you get what you pay for, my usual slippers usually have the sole dropping off within a week, but these ones. Still intact!

i thought my luck had ran out as I hadn't won for about six weeks, until on blue Monday I got a Facebook win £150 of love 2 shop vouchers I couldn't believe it . Two days later another Facebook win a box of little dish go, go's. Then a Twitter win 2x Reno chairs worth £49.99 each. Never give up even if you think your luck has ran out you've got to be in it to win it that saying is so true.
