Thought May was going to be a complete wash out on the competition front until yesterday I entered a code from a 6 pack of Walkers crisps was a winner of a free multipack. So with coupon in hand I shall get another pack tomorrow and try again.

It's certainly true that it's the little wins which keep you comping when the big wins are in short supply.

I am very lucky to say this is the second holiday I've won through this website. I was happy to receive an email telling me that I had won a trip to Thailand including a trip to the Thailand marathon. I remember entering this and it was a surprise when I saw the email. I was planning to visit Thailand and it's great that I'll share the holiday with my best friend. We are staying for 5 days so happy. Thank you prizefinder.

  • First prize in Coast competition

I just love getting an email starting with "Congratulations, you have won....". At the moment, all these come with mixed emotions, as husband is very ill and has just been admitted to a hospice, but when I can't sleep I will spend a few hours entering competitions, as takes my mind off things. Have just won the First Prize in the Coast competition for £500 worth or Regatta Clothing, so sorting out what the grandchildren need, won 2 nights in a Brend Hotel (they have been so lovely, as have had to change dates on this several times), and last week had a day off and lunch on board a Cruise Ship in Southampton. In the great scheme of things, little things, but cheer me up in these difficult times.

I love this site it brings up some competitions in really obscure places.
So far i've only won one competition with Brantano. My prize was for a ps4 and skylanders pack, amazing I thought so duly set back a reply with my details and where to post the prize to. After waiting for 2 weeks and not prize arriving I contacted them and was emailed back saying they will look into it, no reply and no prize. Typically my luck the only prize I win is run by a company in liquidation, never mind i'll keep trying all the other amazing competitions on theprizefinder, better luck next time!

After having a bit of a break in April from entering comps, I was motivated again after receiving an unexpected letter through the door with a voucher for £500 for Dunelm from a competition that I'd entered in March- I am thrilled and it certainly inspired me to enter more! Earlier in the week I received an email telling me I'd won a skincare set worth £79- can't wait for it to arrive!

delighted to win a meal and bottle of win at a local Greek restaurant on twitter. After frequent messaging re times and dates we decided on a night and my son tagged along as an extra. On arriving it was a bit like Fawlty Towers but Manuel was replace by Spiro who kept throwing his hands in the air when I asked him if he knew this was a competition win, "nobody tell me anything!!" as he plonked a bottle of Red wine on the table. was beginning to get a bit agitated as no one seemed to know what was going on. Eventually a very nice man came over and asked if we were the completion winners, eventually,, only to be told that I was in the wrong location, should have been in the city centre where my table was booked ,, red faces all round but he laughed and said he was glad we were here

A bit of an explosive win, this one, from Twitter. My fave social media platform, Twitter is, and I found the comp right here on my favourite comps listing site, thePrizefinder.com - there were 10 little TNT notebooks being given away if you said what your favourite stationery item was - here is my entry for #NationalStationeryWeek!

My fave's a starry glitter pen so's I feel like Captain Kirk - twould go great+TNT Notebook =The People's Network!

And when the notebook arrived it was really heavy with an elasticated book binding and beautifully bright orange, in TNT's colours....but it's interesting to note that recently I have been delving into and discovering some very interesting short shelf life comps through National Awareness Days - a great source of "pop-up" comps. I am using my beautiful, colourful notebook from the explosive TNT to record my dreams every morning when I wake up, so I can ensure that I never let anything important slip away!

Well this is my second win this month after not really winning anything before - I received an email from NISA to say that I have won £1000 for my chosen charity which is Nightingale House Hospice which is an amazing local Charity. I am over the moon. This has given me more incentive me to carry on entering more and more.
