Just had my second win since starting comping on 1st Feb, and trough Prizefinder yet again..
this time it was through a link on the Prizefinder weekly email
£29 cash through Lucky Patch came in so handy as its the week before payday :)

I entered Jazz FM's comp and won a years subscription with eharmony. I am single. Is this fate? Will I meet my Prince Charming? PrizeFinder will be the first to know if I do!!

I used to be a 'Comper' back in the 1990's and had a lot of smallish wins mainly from slogan competitions.
How times have changed! There now seems to be competitions everywhere, especially on social media.

I decided to start comping again last month and have had my first win! From tiny acorns, grow giant oaks and all that!

A helpful tip from Prizefinder led me to find a competition I had won a week before an never knew! It was a Trunki suitcase, something I really wanted to win for my daughter! So everyone he sure to search for your name an winner, winners etc in Facebook or google!

Had an e mail last year saying I had won a 3 day trip to Zermatt courtesy of Ellis Brigham!! Took my friend Luke and we had an amazing time. Zermatt is a lovely little place and we went on the cable car up to the Matterhorn. That was a bit hairy! Flew to Zurich and then had the train journey to Zermatt through the mountains. Would love to go back and see Zermatt in the winter, although summer was beautiful. The Matterhorn looked incredible and the local museum told a great history about it and all the people that have tried to climb it.Ellis Brigham were superb in organising the trip together with the Swiss Tourist Office in London. It had been well over a year since I'd won anything, if not more. Having just gone back into higher education and having to cut back on paid work, things were a bit tight and I was busier with study.The run up to Christmas was a worry. Out of nowhere, before Christmas I got an email to say I'd won a £750 shopping spree and a camera worth £500. My biggest ever win. Suddenly trickles of advent wins started coming in: a nerf gun, a £50 jewellery voucher, book vouchers, Molton Brown sets. I can't tell you how useful these were for prezzies. And, I hadn't been entering competitions any more frequently than normal - likely less! Just this week, I had the nice surprise of a £75 Boots voucher. Don't give up entering I say.

I normally stick to the usual fill in forms when entering competitions but after having a slow Dec & Jan i decided to change my tactics late January and enter magazine puzzle comps.

Last week, i got this letter in the post informing me of my win from TV Choice magazine!

I will put the money towards a small holiday later on in the year.

I won a new sofa a couple of years ago, in a national newspaper competition. I love this sofa but I really wanted to win an amrchair that would go nicely with it. Not something you see all that often in competitions, a single armchair. I also wanted quite a high seat one as i am recovering from a serious accident which makes getting in and out of a chair difficult. I was delighted to see a facebook competition to win an arm chair. My sofa is beige and navy. The chair was beige and burgundy - not a perfect match but I thought it might look ok. I was delighted when they messaged me telling me I had one. Imagine my surprise when they told me that someone had accidently sold the giveaway chair so could I please choose an alternative. Naturally I chose one to match my sofa. So my furniture in the living room is sorted!

February has been a great month firstly I won a box of wax melts on Facebook, then I won a local comp to have a curly blow wave, and lashes and make up. Then I won a valentine twitter comp which was some roots crisps and lindor chocolates and last but not least an amazing double pram worth at least £500.
