Hi,this month I won a really cute pet portrait by artist Ben Cameron on twitter,it was a low entry comp where you had to send in a celebrity selfie of your dog-here is my mum with Ruby and her winning portrait. Other wins include a Walkers football from the snap and share promotion,a box of Newby teabags,a Tour De Yorkshire mug and coaster and a lunch bag and bottle (all from twitter) and I also won a years supply of Surf washing powder,Dorco eve razor, and a canvas shopping bag.

I also managed to claim £100 Victorian Plumbing voucher that I won on Facebook 6 months ago-found it after doing a social search and the company were very good by honouring this lovely prize-here's to another month of happy comping ?

A bit of an explosive win, this one, from Twitter. My fave social media platform, Twitter is, and I found the comp right here on my favourite comps listing site, thePrizefinder.com - there were 10 little TNT notebooks being given away if you said what your favourite stationery item was - here is my entry for #NationalStationeryWeek!

My fave's a starry glitter pen so's I feel like Captain Kirk - twould go great+TNT Notebook =The People's Network!

And when the notebook arrived it was really heavy with an elasticated book binding and beautifully bright orange, in TNT's colours....but it's interesting to note that recently I have been delving into and discovering some very interesting short shelf life comps through National Awareness Days - a great source of "pop-up" comps. I am using my beautiful, colourful notebook from the explosive TNT to record my dreams every morning when I wake up, so I can ensure that I never let anything important slip away!

Well this is my second win this month after not really winning anything before - I received an email from NISA to say that I have won £1000 for my chosen charity which is Nightingale House Hospice which is an amazing local Charity. I am over the moon. This has given me more incentive me to carry on entering more and more.

I thought my luck had run out but then I won this prize of random games and gifts worth £100 from Hawkin Bazaar. There was another item "Star Wars Darth Vadar 3D light" but that was grabbed by my Star Wars mad friend.
My daughter also won a Mother's Day make over for me.
I love comping and as I recently retired I now have more time to indulge in my hobby!

This month, the postman brought me a lovely big box of Pick up! minis - a month's supply of 12 bags ( think I will take a bit longer than that to eat them though!)

Love it when it is a total surprise and you get the thrill of wondering what's inside. In fact, we took some to snack on in the Manchester Hotel & Exhibition prize I reported on last month. Nice few days away and the goody bag from the museum was worth about £40 too.

Also had another large bottle of Lenor through the Victoria website and Avon has told me as well as the designer shopping bag I won earlier that I have a quad eye shadow on its way too.

Just now had a letter saying I have won a film on Blue -ray, just need to win a player to see it or give it to a friend. Love comping and Prizefinder!

  • Dream prize win ticked off

I haven't had a win in nearly 2 months, mainly due to not entering much with working full time hours.

However that all changed last week when i got a winning email to tell me i won a Sainsburys magazine competition of my dream prize, a KitchenAid! My prize also included a knife set and 12 Camp Coffee syrups, to a total of £550 worth.

It arrived in the post today, but I'm so scared to open it and use it, as I've been wanting one for ages and scared il break it haha.

Still keep pinching myself to make sure its real! I love comping!

I've won some truly lovely prizes over the years but, after hardly any wins at all in 2015 (not even an advent!), I feared I had lost my mo-jo for good. I then picked up an injury which meant almost 11 months of being unable to comp (oh, woe!) and started again in December last year. I must have entered easily over 1400 Advent competitions but, again, not a single win. Not even a small box of cookies or a pair of socks! Twice in a row the normally reliable Advents for me had let me down. Despondent, I vowed to give myself until the end of June before deciding if my luck had truly run out for good or not.

Back into the comping habit with a slightly heavy heart, I came across a Twitter photo comp from DIY Films and very nearly didn't enter it as I couldn't find anything I liked or thought good enough. In the end, I posted one anyway as nothing ventured, nothing gained. And...I won! After a horrendous drought, I received a Fujifilm Compact Systems Camera with lens, memory card, bag and laptop bag thanks to the Kong: Skull Island. I may have had an utterly horrendous drought but when I won again, I won big! Lesson learnt, never give up hope and keep on comping :-)

After winning my mammoth Holiday (coming up in August) I had a dry spell for a month or so but then I had an influx of great prizes!!

    I won:
    * A Nerf Gun from a local shopping center
    * Afternoon tea for two at the Savoy (pictured) via facebook - This was amazing we had the best time!!
    * A polaroid Camera (was sooo chuffed has been on my birthday list for ages!) Via Facebook
    * An Apple TV box Via Facebook
*£100 - still waiting for via Facebook
    * A HUGE nail bundle via Facebook live competition
    * A fairytale themed photo shoot for my niece and nephew via facebook

So it just shows even when you have a dry spell you have to keep going as you never know when you will have the next influx of amazing prizes.

All my friends and family always say how lucky I am - I always tell them about the Prizefinder and to keep going and they will win too!!!

    Good luck everyone x

I've been using Prize Finder for nearly two years and love it. In the past month I have won an Olay Skincare Bundle which has been great for my sensitive skin and some lovely Dorset Cereal Muesli on the Spin to Win instant win section (which I use everyday!). I've previously won a £100 M&S Voucher which was great for Christmas and also won other smaller prizes since joining. I can't recommend it enough, thankyou!
