I was over the moon to win my 5* hotel break in Chester but I have been lucky enough to win AGAIN since my last wins. This month I have won an iPhone 4 with Prize UK, DVDs and childrens toys. I feel so grateful and very lucky. Thank you sooooo much to ThePrizefinder.

I love using ThePrizeFinder and have been entering competitions since around February when I was unfortunate to be off work with a serious illness and had nothing to entertain me and fill my days.
However, since entering competitions on this website I have had many wins ranging from cosmetics to vouchers for shops. I think this is my favourite win so far as I have a whole range of Jergens moisturisers as well as a £150 voucher for Selfridges!
It has helped make my days a little brighter and the joy of finding that a parcel has arrived with a surprise win will always make my day.

Hi fellow compers. I only started to enter competitions June 2012 after a friend told me about this excellent site "theprizefinder". At first I thought I had no chance but then by using this site it was made so easy for me to enter and track what I had done so far.

After one win came another and then another. Don't get me wrong there are times I feel like giving up but then an email says "congratulations" and the buzz is back. Have fun entering them and you can't go wrong.

My latest win from The Saucy Fish Co is an awesome prize full of champagne, salmon, bass, haddock, chocolates etc, oh and one pretty cool wicker hamper valued at £200.

Its official...I love theprizefinder..Having won a £50 Bumble and Bumble haircare set in May and a £100 Lush Hamper in August, I have been spurred on to keep entering...I am celebrating my 3rd win this year of two complimentary tickets to the Festive Gift Fair which is being held at the NEC Birmingham...Ok, so its not the cash prize we so badly need but a free day out is well worth a bus trip to Birmingham to cheer us up at this hard time of year...I am always hopeful of another win before our 1st baby is due in February and the prizefinder is the best place to be in with a shot of winning! As the year draws to a close I wanted to thank ThePrizeFinder for such a wonderful comping site and FB page. Thanks to all your fabulous listings, tips, readers stories, blogs and continued motivation I have had a truly wonderful comping year. As well as all the lovely little wins that always brighten up the week and certainly keep the postman busy - I have won some fantastic big prizes too. In August I won a family all inclusive holiday to Tenerife and next July we are all off for a week in the sun to a super villa in Greece. I have been lucky to win 8 luxury weekend breaks away including London, Harrogate, Brighton and Edinburgh and I am now the proud owner of a shiny new mobile phone, oven and iPad. All of this together with over £5k cash prizes and £2k shop/restaurant vouchers has made comping a very pleasurable hobby this year! Thank You once again.

My 11-year old son, Adam, was lucky enough to win £20,000 worth of books for his school library with First News in the summer holidays. His school are delighted as this is a huge increase in their normal budget for books. Of course, I'd rather he'd won a £20,000 kitchen or car for me but he is thrilled anyway, particularly because he got his photo in the local newspaper!
He has previously won toys and games (on one occasion he won exactly the same toys in two separate competitions), CD's, DVD's, a visit to Harry Potter World and football related prizes from Match and JB Sports. I, on the other hand, have won almost nothing in the last year (my only prize so far is a pair of Foster Grant clip-on sunglasses which I'll have to give to my partner as I don't wear normal glasses for them to clip on to!) So I'm going to ask him to choose my lottery numbers and hope for the best!

This is the best hobby ever. I can't wait for my next e-mail to tell me I have won yet another fabulous prize.

My fiance originally started mentioning competitions as a joke for something to do a couple of months ago, and we thought "why not?" and had a go, quickly finding the brilliance that is, ThePrizefinder. Since then, I became hooked and have been entering lots!

So far I've only had a couple of wins, my first was the second series of Nikita on DVD, which I've always wanted to watch but never got round too! Winning the DVD finally made me watch series one and of course, two and it's quickly been added to my favorite shows list! It's lovely discovering things like that through entering competitions!

I haven't had a big win yet, but i'm hoping it'll come soon! A holiday next year would be lovely, and give us an opportunity for a once in a lifetime honeymoon or maybe some money towards our house deposit! Here's hoping!

I keep tipping away at entering competitions and I find ThePrizefinder website really useful for this. I usually choose a few categories of prizes I'm interested in and stick to those e.g. 'Cash & Vouchers' etc. until I fancy a change and move to the next one. I like to do a few effort ones when I can, if you pick something you'll enjoy it's never a waste of time as it's exciting following the progress and seeing what others have entered too.

It's worth going for the prizes with high amounds to give away also - I won several free vouchers this month for Special K products - I still have some to collect. Even though they are low value items, I still enjoy winning them. A win is a win and it's great to keep your momentum going. I've got my fingers crossed for that big prize which I hope to report back on soon!

I've started comping 18 months ago, and I have to say, I count myself very lucky to have won a few very nice things. Thanks to my hobby, we'd been on a mini break to Paris to one of the most luxurious hotels in the city last year (we'd never been able to afford that; it was an interesting double OTT experience), this year we spent a night in London and Brighton, and a weekend in Cambridge and Jersey. also, I love winning beauty products (my relatives rally appreciate it as I pass a lot onto them), restaurant vouchers and fashion items.
The last several months have been quite dry for me, and started to loose the inspiration, until I received a lovely e-mail from Galbani Cheese. They ran a competition for a 3-night city break to Florence, with flights, accommodation, insurance, a one-day cooking course and some spending money. I was over the moon with hubby, as we always wanted to visit Florence - it was a dream prize. We were also glad that travel was included (in all my previous wins, travel was never included and booking flights/trains were quite expensive), the cooking course was also a big bonus (learning traditional Italian foods from locals, ohhh yessss!!!).
After a few days it turned out that the hotel is actually 80 miles from Florence, in a quiet area of the region so we asked them if we could put the spending money towards a couple of nights stay in Florence itself as we really wanted to see the city and the famous museums. We picked the date, designed to celebrate hubby's birthday in Florence, which is going to be a lovely treat for him, so happy that I can present him with such a dream trip!
At this stage it seems we're going to spend 5 nights in Florence afterall, as the other hotel was fully booked, which is in our favour. Really looking forward to this cultural holiday...and cooking with Mario! :)
