Meet Our Latest Winners!

I had a lot of success with advent comps but did not manage to "spend" my winning restaurant voucher until April. I took my husband and a comping friend to Bistrot Pierre in Nottingham where we had an excellent meal with specially selected wine with each course. (We travelled by bus of course!) I attach a photo of my delicious lamb course.

In the last 2 weeks I have done quite well with a selection of prizes. Firstly a sewing basket (runner up prize) and then £100 Pizza Express vouchers. (More food!!)

Today I have won a £25 voucher for the local Factory Shop, Bargain Traders and only a short while ago I found out I have won a book from Hodders and it has already been posted to me!

I started comping in around December 2013 and had 2 wins, a pair of tickets to an MMA event and a small cuddly toy. I had a further win in January 2014 for tickets to a motor sport show that ultimately I could not go to and had to give away. I have persevered entering literally hundreds of competitions a day and I have finally won something.. a hamper of chocolate! Any win is a win though and I am pleased. Thanks Prizefinder.

I only won 1 competition this month but it was a biggie :)

I had an email from Very.co.uk to tell me I had won 1st Prize in their Ted Baker Competition:

* 2 VIP Tickets to Gifford's Circus at Blenheim Palace on 14th June.
* An overnight stay at The 4* Macdonald Bear Hotel in Oxfordshire.
* Supper for 2 at Gifford's Travelling Restaurant 'Circus Sauce'.
* 1 Pair of Women's Ted Baker Shoes and 1 Pair of Men's Ted Baker Shoes.

Worth over £500 and all I had to do was comment on their Blog. Simple :) I can't wait!

April hasn't been kind to me in wins, I have only had 5 wins the whole of the month and 4 were from last week! But 2 of them are surprise gifts. Both the companies that I won the surprise gifts from said they will send a surprise gift.

I haven't had them yet, although I won both last week and they said they are dispatched!!

The first was from Butlers Chocolates and I was their final winner of a week of comps. They said "The Easter Bunny is busy preparing to bring you a very special Easter this year" and for that all I had to do was to guess the name of the bunny - I named him Bertie which is what they had called him! The picture is from the Butlers chocolates announcement.
I can't wait to get my surprise chocolates!!

The second surprise yet to come was from Gameseek, and I had to guess which of the pictured eggs had the surprise win in. I guessed number 5 Luigi. They said "Easter Giveaway! *FIFTY Eggstra Special Prizes* We've got a really eggciting giveaway for over the Easter weekend... In one of our Eggs is a mystery freebie. Guess the egg that holds the mystery and you could win!
I can't wait to get my suprise from them too!

The anticipation of what is coming is great and I cant wait to get the delivery and open that box and find a great (hopefully) surprise!!!

This year has been pretty slow on the prize front to date. Tickets to the Housebuilding and Renovating show which my son enjoyed and a few books and vouchers but nothing startling.

I recently won two mugs and packs of Clipper tea to share with a friend in their daily Carousel game. I have had quite a few successes with cosmetic items in daily comps run by Glamour magazine and the like and of course the Advent season brings plenty of opportunities to win a whole range of prizes and I have had a few of those over the years, some of which have allowed me to trial products new to me which have gone on to become firm favourites so comps clearly can work as an advertising tool.

The Clipper tea was not the biggest prize I’ve ever won however I’ve often wondered if I was just wasting time playing these daily games during tea breaks …so now I know!

I won a weekend hotel break, but I can actually choose anything on the Red Letter Day website to the value of £99! I really like the surprise element of comping, never knowing what might turn up next.

Well, I haven't had to wait 5 years before winning, just a couple of months. I received an email today saying I've won £100 worth of M&S Autograph make-up through Stylist. I am really pleased and can't wait to try everything out. Fingers crossed that I don't have a long wait before my next win. Thank you Prizefinder.

After a slow couple of months April has certainly made up for it. My first win was with Winneroo and the daily Spinneroo game where I got the top score and a cheque for £50, and then the hampers started to arrive:- a Johnsons baby hamper, a Fisher Price feeding hamper, a Thomas J Fudge's hamper (in the shape of a fantastic hatbox) and a case of Dorset cereals. I also had a couple of wins with Ecover, a Glade air freshener, a Samsung phone charger from their winter Olympics Facebook game, a gorgeous jumper with a cute bunny on from Yours Clothing and finally one off my wish list - a Hotel Chocolat Easter egg. All of which my family and friends are enjoying - except the Easter egg which I have hidden!

Wow! This site is brilliant! After being made recently reduntant, I was at a loose end for what to do with myself with my days (there's only so much Loose Women a man can stomach :))
And so I found my way drawn to comping! And this place makes it soooo easy! Been comping for about 4 weeks and I've been a lucky man so far!
I've won tickets to a footy match, tickets to the premiere of a film in London, entry to Rough Runner race worth £70!, Gadget show live tickets, a horror film on Blu-ray AND the creme de la creme...... a selection of shortbread biscuits from Your Dog Magazine website!!!!!!
I'm living the comping dream. :)
