Meet Our Latest Winners!

I've had a really good month and have won lots and lots... a huge Fatface crate of goodies for the summer, with sunglasses, caps, belts, beach towels etc and £250 to spend in their store, another voucher for Seasalt which I have spent online, lots of smaller prizes, hair stuff, make-up etc, stuff for the kitchen, a bouquet of flowers and today as I was thinking that's the end of the month I have won a Hoover dishwasher and the day's not over yet. Most of the competitions were sourced through ThePrizeFinder.com and you are always my first port of call... so thank you soooo much. Here's looking forward to July. :)

I had pretty much given up in June as it seemed the more comps I did the less I won. So I hadn't done many this month, then a lovely surprise of these fab Pro cook knives turned up! No idea where from or what giveaway, but I was super impressed, super happy and it definitely spurred me on to do more competitions!

June started off very well with a little win from Ellas Kitchen, a packet of carrot & Lentil sticks which my son devoured very quickly! Lol. Then the next day I had an email from Netmums telling me I had won a Fisher Price Rainforest Mobile, a couple of days later a prize from Derwent arrived and then the wins trickled off a bit until I won a Carmex lip balm and a packet of Popchips on the Catch a Quiche game.

Only small wins this month but they keep me going :)

* I have put a picture of the Hotel room we stayed in from my last big win, I won the comp in April and we stayed there on the 14th of June. It was lovely.

I haven't had much time for comping since the recent arrival of my first baby. I have prioritised what I enter in terms of them being to win prizes which would be most practical and useful to us. I've mainly entered Twitter competitions and have had two lovely prizes from Twitter. I've won a picnic hamper which is going to be a wedding present for a friend and I've won a £100 Tesco voucher from Tesco baby club. I also won a signed and numbered copy of the Pulitzer Prize winning book The Goldfinch which is really special and my Grandad will love it.

I'd love to win a little holiday for us, but in the meantime I'm being really specific about what I enter and although I only enter around 50 per week I've been quite lucky. Love the new menus on ThePrizeFinder by the way! Really helpful. :)

June got off to an incredible start when I received a phonecall from Hotpoint to say I'd won a washing machine in a photo competition. Our current machine has been playing up a bit and I knew we could do with a new one. However a couple of months ago I'd also been chatting to my neighbours about how wonderful competitions are. They had said they could do with a new washing machine and I said "I'll see what I can do". So when i got that phonecall I decided to give the beautiful new machine to my lovely neighbours as they have had the worst year you could ever imagine. I could never have afforded to buy them something as generous so it was a wonderful feeling to do something nice for a really deserving couple.
The only other wins in June were a handcream and £10 costa coffee voucher. As I've learnt over this first year of comping you really never know what's round the corner.

June has been utterly wonderful. I've won a total of 45 prizes that are worth well over a grand. My two HUGE wins this month were a brand new 40" Smart LED TV & Soundbar worth £520 and my second huge win was an amazing chair that's worth over £400.

Other wins included a months worth of miso soup and then a weeks worth of miso soup, £50 Topshop Vouchers, £10 Boots Voucher, £10 Missy Empire Voucher, over £50 in Amazon vouchers, a Brita Fill & Go, a Remington curl wand, beauty bundles, books, a £50 eyelash growth serum, fancy dress costume, makeup and many many more wonderful prizes :)

Obviously, I'm most excited about my new television and soundbar (especially because I can now make some money too selling my old TV) but the photo would be rather boring so instead, I've opted for the photo of my gorgeous daughter on her new "throne". All hail Queen Bridie and all thank our lucky stars for comping :D xxx

This month I've had some great wins, including a full yoga outfit from CrystalCups Lifestyle, 3,000 super points to spend on play.com, a personalised rubber stamp, a festival wet wipes kit and some film merchandise with cinema tickets for my local Odeon from Intu Metrocentre.

My favourite win this month was from a Father's day photo competition with Flahavan's oats on Facebook. The theme was a photo of your dad and breakfast. I submitted this photo of my dad cooking a fry up whilst my dog watches in anticipation. I won a big box of goodies including 3 large tubs of oats, kitchen utensils, recipe book and other branded stuff. I've since baked so many flapjacks to share with my colleagues!

June has been my best comping month since I found the Prizefinder back in November 2013. This month I have won

I fully appreciate how lucky I have been this month and it will be someone else turn next months and I can’t wait to read the winning stories! To prove how fickle this comping hobby of ours can be, my sister who is also a Prizefinder user has only won a jar of olives this month.

I am still eagerly awaiting the last 3 prizes to turn up. I am still hoping for what I would consider a big win, such as money, vouchers or a holiday but for now the small wins trickling in are keeping me happy!

After a bit of a lull in comping for various reasons I have just started to get my groove back, and have had a brilliant run of wins. My first win of the month was a fabulous pendant lamp, perfect for the new house we should be moving into in a couple of weeks. I also won a scarf on a Facebook competition.

However the highlights of the month have been gig and festival tickets. Him indoors and I love Hudson Taylor, so I was over the moon to win tickets to their gig, plus access to the soundcheck and a meet and greet with the boys. We had an amazing night up in London and the gig was fantastic.

That was a priceless win, but in terms of actual cost I had my biggest win ever when I got a call to say I won 2 weekend tickets including camping for Latitude festival in July! It's one I'd had my eye on but couldn't afford so I'm now counting down the days.

Anyone who doesn't give comping a try is missing a trick.
