I've been comping on and off for the last 2 years. I have won a few random prizes. Love the feeling of getting a surprise win!!
Last week I had 2 wins off separate competitions, 2 tickets to Kendal Calling festival and £100 Tesco gift card both off Twitter. I had never been to a festival before and took my sister, we have just got back and made so many memories and had such a laugh even covered in mud!!
I'm saving my voucher to help with Christmas spending.

Although we were booking our first family holiday abroad I just couldn't pick the best place to go. The one I really wanted was a holiday in Ibiza with a kids splash pool all enclosed so parents can relax too. It was £500 out of my spending range but thanks to Quidco on one of their Facebook competitions in January, I won £500 of holiday vouchers so I booked the holiday that I wanted. We flew out 17th
July and was one of the best holidays I've ever had and because of the enclosed splash pool I could even relax and get a lovely all over tan with my kids being entertained by slides and waterfalls. My son even got his first girlfriend. It was a magical time all thanks to competitions and ThePrizeFinder.

After months of not really entering much it seems July was a good month for me. I won:

My first August win and it's a biggie! I've just received a telephone call to say I've won a Landmann BBQ worth £369.99! It's being delivered on Tuesday!
To say I'm over the moon is an understatement! I've been trying to win a BBQ for MONTHS and it's my biggest win of the year! Let's just hope the British weather holds out for some lovely family BBQs in August!!

I could not believe my eyes when I saw three matches!
I blinked for a while as, with this game it seemed impossible after trying for a long while.

Anyway to my surprise I matched 3 Gingerbread people on the daily, Spin the Ginger game hosted by Biscuiteers!

The prize was 'A Spotty Dotty Gingerbread', not so giant but cute. (As shown in the picture). I was not sure whether to eat her but I gave in and started on the leg, tasted good.

Been a quiet few months, not won much in ages ... but yet not really been trying started a new job which really is a win in itself. After years of being made redundant it's nice to be working again. But now I am in a routine I have found a few hours a few times a week to get my comping mojo working and I have a few things .... thanks to ThePrizefinder. Ice-cream maker, Raybans from J2O, A VHS to DVD converter and some vouchers for Tesco .... so fingers crossed I get a few nice wins next month.

I love entering competitions and occasionally win. Back in May I entered a competition run by Your Source Today to win a Cook Italian Hamper as my daughter loves Italian food. So you can understand how pleased we were when I got an email on the 2nd July to say I had won. Brilliant!!!

Well, we still await our prize...so here is a picture of our win theoretically! Just wanted to warn other compers not to get excited until you actually receive it. Your Source Today has been trying to get it honoured by Cook Italian, but all I've heard is it is nearly ready to send...

Finally this month I have won some John Lewis vouchers! I've been trying to win them for over a year as I love John Lewis and I want to buy some nice kitchen things for my new home (when we get it!). This was a Victoria Plumb Facebook draw so no effort at all!

With effort comps, I've found Twitter to be the best source of prizes yet again this month winning some Gatwick shopping vouchers, Ryman stationery and some Raybans. The best prize was probably first class train tickets anywhere on the east coast route. No cool stories or interesting photos for this month's winner's story but it has been a very good and extremely lucky month of lovely prizes!

I just got a phone call last week from the Key Store to say I have won limited edition Steven Gerrard football boots. They are being custom made to my size and choice of stud and will take 6 weeks to come, absolutely delighted as I've only been on ThePrizefinder for two months and I didn't expect to actually win anything.

I entered a daily competition on Facebook to win various jewellery pieces from Swarovski that The Saturdays had been pictured wearing. I didn't even look at the main prize, I was so set on winning Frankie's gorgeous earrings! Then I received a call to say I'd won the grand prize, a meet and greet with the band in London and £1000 to spend on Swarovski jewellery!! I actually had to double-check that it was real because I thought I was being had! But nope, a month later my friend Steph and I were in Swarovski's flagship store meeting The Saturdays (who were lovely!) and between us we spent every penny of that £1000 buying Christmas and birthday presents for everyone - as well as a few cheeky pieces for ourselves ;)
