I started entering competitions last January and went for 6 long months without any luck at all. During which time I received lots of comments such as “why do you even bother?” and “nobody ever wins you know!” Then in June I won my first competition – it was a lovely KLM Trunki which I gave to my niece. I then went on to win some wool from Just Knit and an aquabeads carry case!
With renewed enthusiasm I entered the Advents with a vengeance! I missed them the year before and had heard lots of great things about them! Anyway, I could not believe my luck. During December I won

And it doesn’t stop there January has been luckier still! So far I have won a £100 Tesco Voucher& Picnic Rucksack from Esso on a facebook competition and yesterday I received an email to say I had won a £150 winter wardrobe for my son from Half Pint Chic! which was a rafflecopter competition with 16,230 entries! I cannot believe my luck!

Me and my fiancé are getting married in October and still need to book a lot of our services. I noticed the competition to win tickets to the North East Wedding show and thought that would be a perfect competition to win! And we did! Yay! Hope we find a photographer and get some inspiration for our wedding day!

My daughter had just started university when I won a weekend away in any hotel we wanted and any Go Ape course we wanted. How wonderful to go and visit my daughter, and to be able to take her out away to a luxury hotel. We also really enjoyed the peak district Go ape course even though it rained pretty hard.

I've been comping for a hobby for about 2 years and have won several prizes mainly for days out , horse racing tickets for various meetings, which is my passion, various London event tickets, family pass to see the Nutcracker ballet and a VIP experience aboard the Queen Elizabeth cruise liner last year, which was the best by far. Other prizes last year included some TV merchandise and 2 food hampers, DVD box sets, CDs and lots of little wins.
However I've had a great start to the New Year and won 3 prizes which were all delivered today: A pair of OPPO PM-3 headphones RRP £349, an eye are hamper worth £66 and a pair of a Premier league football tickets £64 which I will be attending with my husband this weekend. This has really given me an incentitive to spending more time entering comps . This site is simply great!

I am so pleased with how lucky I have been and glad I've finally had some luck in the adverts, which I was planning on ignoring this time as I never do well. Glad I didn't. Here's to December 2016!

My husband and I always go to Huntingdon Races on Boxing Day so were delighted when we won 4 tickets through Racing FX. Unfortunately, we couldn't find anyone who wanted to come so we had 2 spare tickets. We decided to take them along with us and give them away to a family with young children - a sort of late Christmas random act of kindness. The couple we gave them to were really grateful and surprised. They had 3 children with them who had never been racing before. We had a fabulous afternoon, the atmosphere and racing were great, we had 2 winners and walked out with more money than we went in with. What more can you ask for? Whilst the value of the prize was only £80, the fun it provided and the look on the faces of the couple we gave the tickets to was worth a lot more.

I was lucky enough to win £300 of vouchers in the merrypringles competition this december.
There were 12 winners throughout christmas.
I wrote the theme toon, sang the theme toon, videoed the theme toon and performed the theme toooon ha ha ha.

There were some very good winners in this competition but i also felt a few were chosen by the cleaner and not the judges !

After our son and daughters main presents were delivered late as well as damaged, they were delighted when these fantastic games arrived from Learning resources.I won them after I entered on twitter through the prize finder! They are fun as well as educational and put a huge smile on our children's faces!

I cant believe it. I like to read everybody's wins and am amazed by the number of people who win more than one thing per month and sometimes have a whole list. My average is about 2 competitions a year, usually winning prizes worth about £50 though I have won bigger in the past but this was before internet competitions which I think have more entries. Anyway I have been really lucky on the Advent Comps and I can for the first time ever produce an actual list of comp wins for December and Ive just had my first January win! Anyway my list is:

I cant believe I have a list!! This is more than I have won in the last 2 years in total. Also they are lovely prizes that I would never get for myself, they are real treat prizes.

Won 5 tubes of Primula cheese spread for Christmas, still lasting and delicious it may not be very expensive but it is what I love, and it gave me a boost as don't win very often, so every little win perks up my week and keep hoping for a big win, as can be addictive entering all these competitions on your website x
