Due to working in retail and being Super Busy in the run up to Christmas I hardly entered any comps at all. I only entered two advents that I can remember for prizes that I really wanted. One was a £50 Munchkin Set for my 2 Year Old - which I won on day 2 and a Comp through Visit Kingston/Visit London - I got the email to tell me that I won and I was ecstatic. I had always wanted to go to London (but it is a 4hr drive) and I knew that this meant myself, partner and 2 children 2 & 8 would be able to go after we had spent the 1st day in Kingston. It was an amazing prize and we thoroughly enjoyed it - and when we were there, in the hotel there was a Kingston magazine that I was browsing and right there on the inside page was the Ad for the Advent Competition!

I was lucky enough to be the winner of a Facebook competition by Ernest Jones, with a gorgeous Vera Wang diamond ring worth £2500 up for grabs! It's a long standing joke that I'm waiting (im)patiently for my boyfriend to propose so I made a jokey comment about how if I won the ring, maybe it would encourage him to do the deed. I'm still waiting for that proposal but hopefully this fantastic win will speed things up! I love this site and have won some fantastic prizes, but this one definitely takes the top spot! 2017 I had a couple of big wins (hotel stay and dinner & walking boots and Fitbit) and less than a handful of smaller wins. The last win of the year, which I received a couple of days ago, was a genuine Käthe Wohlfahrt nutcracker plus a surprise bag, pen and marzipan filled bauble from an advent competition run by the German Embassy in the UK. I did not take part in many advents because of work, so I am very happy to have won something at all and I do love this beautiful handmade fella.

I thought the Advents had been a complete loss until on the very last day I won a shopping voucher from Breakfree Holidays on FB.
It arrived this morning. A £10 Love to shop voucher. It may not be the biggest win around but it's just the sort prize which keeps my motivation going while waiting for the big ones to come around.

I LOVE a good comp and was beyond pleased to find ThePrizeFinder a few months ago - I've been religiously entering comps everyday and it finally paid off in a big and perfect way!!

We have just exchanged on a house (a win in itself) and then won £500 through Ideal Home Magazine to spend on the Harvey's Sofas for you range - with Harvey's amazing sales we ended up getting our chosen sofas for next to nothing!

I had an amazing win in 2013, it was a trip to stay in a lovely farm house for 2 nights in loch lomond,beautiful house large bedrooms and Jacuzzi bath and miles of acres of farm surrounding , also included in our prize was £100 travel expenses we used towards petrol,£100 spending money which we used for trips out but also included in our prize was a 1 hours horse riding trek for me and my husband which was an experience to say the least as it started to thunder and lightning half was through and horses were not happy but loved the experience ,also we had an hour boat ride on the loch with a guided tour speaker amazing prize Thanks to VISIT Scotland !

I entered an online prize draw to win a 'vodka and gin fuelled hotel stay for you and 3 friends' it sounded good so I gave it a bash! I was chuffed when I received a winning email and even more chuffed when it turned out to be at a luxury spa with all our food and drink included! It was in partnership with a local distillery who supplied us with cocktails all weekend - Amazing! We had the top suites to stay in at the spa with a free standing copper bath! We teally enjoyed a wonderful break away. We were even lucky enough to have snow which was just magical -
well until we had to drive home that is! The total prize value was £1500 and it's going down as one of my best prizes ever!! Long live comping!!

I entered a competition to make my son's "Christmas wish come true" by writing a poem with accompanying photographs.
As the closing day drew nearer there had been thousands of entries and I didn't hold out much hope. A couple of days later I had a message to advise that we had won and that TEN people, film crew etc were coming to make our garden into a "piratey winter wonderland" complete with wooden pirate ship, snow, gifts, a real parrot, and of course, pirates!
A video was made of the day which has had over 800,000 views on the kinder facebook page.
It truly was a day to remember.

I've been comping on and off through my life, and started again November. My partner lovingly tolerates me.
I can't tell you what a lovely surprise it was to receive a bundle of Christmas Crafting gear amongst all the presents and packages for everyone else... even more so because I LOVE Christmas! Nice little spur-me-on to keep me going!

This year I bookmarked the advents that I liked the look of from the list here on the prizefinder. Usually the advents aren’t my thing and you get bogged down with little reward. I chose and entered 25 of the same ones everyday (for either 12 or 24 days depending on how long they ran for) and won one of Lakeland’s draws of an Afternoon tea hamper/tray. I was delighted because I have a special persons birthday coming up who love their afternoon teas! I entered loads of the non advents too so I’m hoping for some nice news of wins in January...
