My daughter entered a Grandpa In My Pocket Competition on fun kids and won the DVD along with a Gold Card pass to for the Wacky Warehouse to play free for a year. Embarrassingly when we went to collect the prize and do the photo shoot all the other children on a busy weekend got kicked off the play area but Lydia loved been the centre of attention and having an audience. Fortunately all children got an extra half hour of play and they brought Wendy and Wesley the mascots out to see everyone, so everyone was happy and she now thinks shes famous as she appeared in the Yorkshire Evening Post. We have used the pass a few times since and its one of her favourite places to visit.

I am a romantic and love nothing more than to surprise my wife with a present I know she’ll love but that’s not really been an option for a while now as I’m out of work with a severely damaged back. However entering competitions through ThePrizeFinder has made up for that as I enter ones that I’d like to win or something that I’d love to give my wife as a present or something to make friends and families birthdays/Christmas easier for us. So far we have won a PSP, Sex and the City (series 1-6) complete boxset, 80GB PS3, £500 of Disney vouchers, a limited edition Lord Voldemort doll and £250 of Red Letter vouchers (yup I’ve been meaning to write this for a while now). To be honest most of the prizes got given as presents (to friends, family and my wife) which meant our limited budget has stretched further than it would otherwise or sold to get towards things we needed at the time but either way ThePrizeFinder has really helped me feel like being unemployed and housebound doesn’t mean you can’t still spoil your loved ones from time to time.

I never in a million years thought that entering a competition would bring fame to my family, but that is exactly what happened when I entered a national Birds Eye competition. Having been chosen as one of the 100 winning families whose prize included £100, family National Trust Membership for a year, camcorder and camera and £100 Birds Eye Vouchers, our family also won the opportunity to have a photo shoot to appear as the 'Family of Birds Eye' launching their new family pie. It was certainly a 'money-can't buy experience'. We had the Head Chef from Birds Eye come to our house and cook a meal in our kitchen, together with a photographer from News Of The World. We had to pose for over an hour to get the precise photoshoot they wanted. My family felt like famous models - it was so much fun. The advert appeared in the News Of The World for two consecequtive weeks and in The Sun three days in a row! Before leaving us the chef loaded our freezer with tasty food including - you've guessed it - a family chicken pie!

I've been meaning to say thanks to this site for a while now. Over the last year I have entered the comps on this site every day and won all kinds of stuff. I won a huge TV from Samsung, a digital camera from Sony, various computers games for Xbox and PC, gig tickets and a couple of games consoles. Can't say how grateful I am for this site as you have turned a hobby into a passion, plus my girlfriend seems happy with the shiny things we have in the living room now.

I started entering competitions through ThePrizeFinder around 6 months ago. I am in the Navy and can end up with spare time sat at a computer when im on watch so I thought - what the hey, kill a bit of time!
I've so far had a series of smaller wins - District9 Blu Ray, Board game, Dr Who coin, Board Shorts, England tickets, Moody Blues tickets, theatre tickets and a signed CD.
The biggest win so far was a weekend stay at Gleneagles which included travel expenses, spending money and a £112 daily food allowance!
Thanks ThePrizeFinder, myself and my girlfriend have recently moved in together so this was a welcome break which we could never afford.

I won a prize from play.com to meet and greet the stereophonics, hotel, travel to London and a signed electric guitar.

I went to london with my husband and we went on the London Eye as our hotel was very near. In the afternoon we went to the O2 arena with 15 other people who had also won a meet and greet. I shook hands and hugged Mr Kelly Jones, but i was so excited, all I wanted was the signed guitar as i had promised this to my 10 year old son who is learning to play the guitar. I asked the rep and nothing, I was so disappointed. We went back to the hotel for something to eat and then off to the concert that night in the O2. The night was fantastic, but I had to phone home to tell my son, there was no guitar. We got back to the hotel at midnight and there was a message on my phone. There was a signed guitar in the 02 for me, but we had left. My husband spoke to the representative of the Stereophonics and within 30 minutes the signed guitar was in my hotel reception. What an end to a fantastic night, and when we got home, what a happy son I have. He is now playing learning to play his guitar in school. All for clicking on the Play.com banner. An excellent memory to talk about in a few years, all in my 40th year.

Every spare moment I grap the computer and log into ThePrizeFinder to get my daily fix of competition entries. A few months ago this proved to be a very good idea as I managed to win a superb trip for two to London. The prize included travel expenses, 5* Marriot Hotel with room overlooking the London Eye. From here my husband and I drank our complimentary bottle of champagne and ate our sumptous fruit platter! But the amazing part of this prize was attending the Soap Awards at the ITV studios. We spent over an hour mingling with all the stars from East Enders, Corrie, Emmerdale etc prior to the filming of the show. We sipped champagne together, ate canapes together and laughed together! Patsy Palmer even asked me if I was an actress! After the show we got a wonderful goody bag the same as the casts....Priceless!

I have been a member of ThePrizeFinder for a while now and it's a fun way to spend my spare time whilst my son's tucked up in bed. We have won concert tickets and make up and I received an e-mail yesterday to say I had won some super dooper sunglasses .....Can't wait to take them on holiday with us at the end of the year!
Overall ThePrizeFinder is a great place to spend free time and I have also found some fantastic websites through entering the competitions, websites I never would have found unless entering the comps through ThePrizefinder.

I only tend to enter tie breakers, as less people enter these and I enjoy the challenge of writing something original. My resent tie break win was a few weeks ago. I got a phone call from Blackberry to say I'd won 3 nights at the Ibiza Rocks hotel plus flights for 2 people, £500 spending money and 2 Blackberry Pearl 3g handsets. I was completely delighted with this but to top things off, I also received 2 Samsonite suitcases full of Blackberry goodies. All this just for quoting Keith Richards!

I got a letter a few weeks ago to say I have won a spa break for two. We had a choice, so we picked Champneys Springs at Leicester. We have just come back from the two nights stay and it was wonderful. Enjoyed the use of pool, sauna, steam room, gym and we also had a free facial. We came back so refreshed. This is my partner sat on one of the chairs at Champneys Springs.
