Meet Our Latest Winners!

I've had a great run of wins recently, large and small.
I'm always reading about couriers delivering boxes and now its my turn! A BBC Food online competition brought me the full range of Lloyd Grossman Cooking sauces - everything from Thai Green Curry to Chilli & Bolognaise Sauces & boxes of beautiful Le Cruset Cookware - saucepans, casseroles and dishes in original volcanic orange. Next Laura Ashley sent me a summer dress c/o a postcard to PRIMA Magazine. Then a set of boxes contained Fisher Price range from Mattel UK as I had won the " Laugh 'N' Learn Prize Bundle from Practical Parenting & Pregnancy Magazine.
Delia Smith was to be presented with a special BAFTA and I won tickets for two to join the event in London and enjoy the Tattinger Champagne reception courtesy of the Radio Times. Her BAFTA was presented by Victoria Wood and my friend and I greatly enjoyed this special evening. Thank you Prizefinder. x

A couple of weeks ago I was sat on the computer doing a few comps while waiting for the time to go by to pick my daughter up from school at half 11.
My phone rang at half 10 and to my surprise it was Heart radio telling me I was shortlisted in their cheerios families competition which I found on ThePrizeFinder website. They told me they would be ringing me back at just after 11.

That was the longest half hour ever!

I nervously waited for the phone to ring and eventually it did at 11:05. The producer gave me a short talk about what would happen. All I had to do was listen out for the Baxter family and that was it.
Eventually i could hear the radio host talking. My heart stopped as he said "And the winner is.........The Baxter Family!"
I am still gobsmacked now. I had won a Nikon SLR camera worth £400, my biggest win to date in my 1 year off comping and I owe it all to you guys. Thanks ThePrizeFinder :) Xxx

Well ThePrizefinder does it again. I hadn't won anything much since October last year and as all you compers know, no win after a fair few months gets ya down. Not even a little win until two weeks ago when I won some lip gloss worth £16. Well I read the raffle comp blog and thought I'd give it ago as I don't have much time to enter comps due to 3 little angels (cough cough) and much to my surprise we got an email saying we had won £75 which sent me hyper like a kid on smarties. :) But if it wasn't for you guys I would not have won these two prizes, and hopefully it will be like last year when I won make up and then the next three prizes were bigger than the last. Here is hoping...

After saving really hard to buy our first home we sacrificed our holiday this year but this week has been brilliant for us we get our keys on Friday :) and yesterday I was on the phone to a lovely lady who informed me I have won a 4* all inclusive 7 night holiday to Majorca!!! Unbelievable. I was shaking so much and couldn't stop thanking her. This has come after a 6 month spell of winning next to nothing so keep at it :)

Over the past few months my luck with comping had been lacking a little bit. I had a few small wins including cinema tickets, sweets and mini moisturisers. The month of June is finally picking up for me - I've had a flurry of small wins, but enough to pick me up again! Wins for June so far include 2 red Tommee Tippee milk beakers from Cow & Gate (facebook game), Mini bronze lotion from Palmers photo comp, LED light bulb, maple syrup recipe book and Moneywise magazine from Magic Freebies facebook spin the wheel comp. I also won Manuka Foot and Heel cream from the Stella beauty comp.

My Tommee Tippee beakers arrived this week and I think these are my favourite win of the month as I was just about to buy them. It's great to win something you had planned on buying anyway no matter how small.

This year has been great, with a main prize of £1250 worth of Sainsbury's vouchers ... possibly the best thing you can give a student!! This was followed by smaller wins of food, make up, and various types of gin :D
Just now I got an email telling of another win...£250 from the Discovery Channel Striking Gold competitions.

The month beforehand had been slow so it was really nice to have so many fabulous wins to spur me on and get me back into the flow.
Just go's to show its worth sticking with it.

I love comping and hope I have many more months like this and wishing my fellow compers lots of luck too. :-)

I started comping last week and I was very skeptical about it as I thought most of the comps would be scams, but i continued on regardless. So to my surprise just a week after I started comping I had been contacted to say I had won the Ryman Stationary Competition to win a Filofax and iPod holder. What a good way to start my birthday lol.

The competition entry was me telling a story as to why i really needed a filofax to keep me organised.

July has started as a good month for me so far. I won some children's books on the first, and with my four, books always go down a treat, then on the 2nd of July I started the day winning some gorgeous household plants, I thought it was a good month for winning, until later on on the evening of the 2nd of July 2013, I won my dream prize: A holiday for 6 to Newquay!!!

I have always said previously that there aren't ever enough holidays for larger families. I can't say that anymore! I am so over the moon with this win, and of course, so were my children!

We haven't been able to have a holiday for the last three years due to money, or, lack of! So for a holiday staying in one of Hendras beautiful Premium caravans, this will change my children's year. My eldest son is 14 now, won't be too long before he will be too old for the good old fashioned family holiday, you know, fish n chips on the beach, arcades, evening entertainment and rowing over who gets the biggest room in the caravan! So for this to come now is just amazing. I owe so much to comping, and it just goes to show, the prizes are out there, you just have to be in it, to win it! :-)

Last month has been pretty quiet with a few low value wins, so I was delighted to find I'd won Capital FM's £100 iTunes voucher.

I was so pleased and hope that I'll get lots more wins like this. I'll be buying some much needed songs for my phone with the voucher.
