I'm pretty new to this site and really like to enter all sorts of competions. Before I have just entered through magazines and newspapers. I've won tickets to a large country and farmers market and a night, dinner and breakfast at the four seasons in Hampshire. I've already won something this week from entering through Instagram. Just had to upload a picture and a recipe. So easy. It's a mystery prize so more exciting. . Yay go me. Hopefully the prize finder will find lots more prizes for me.

A year on and I am still winning thanks to ThePrizeFinder. This is one of my favourite prizes because it is 3 prizes in 1. It simply can't get better than that! This month I've won a book, a Hive Home heating control system worth £200 and a pancake hamper from Abra ca Debora, which I've just tucked into some of as a snack before going out!

I was also supposed to go on the cookery course this month that I won with Jean Christophe Novelli, worth £800. It was cancelled at the last minute and I ended up losing money on dog sitter I had already booked etc. Thankfully I hadn't booked train tickets and was planning to drive, or I would've lost a lot more!

They don't know that I won the vouchers to buy the prize so can't believe they did this when for all they know I spent £800 on it… crazy. Anyway, they were pretty good about it in the end and are reimbursing me the money I've lost and arranging a new date for me to go on. I'm a teacher and it wasted my half term as I ended up with no plans, I'm away on the ski holiday I won over Easter so I won't be able to go until the summer now. Exasperating!

A nice little win for me this month. I think that there may have been 100 of these sets as prizes and I remember it may have been a short survey to fill in. Some hair care consisting of shampoo, conditioner, intensive treatment and serum. A small win but very welcome and my hair will appreciate the pampering!

After a really good end to last year, I had a really dry January, (and I'm not talking about alcohol!)only winning a £10 iTunes voucher. February, fortunately, has been a very different matter. It started with a bottle of Original Source, and since then I've also won a box of nail goodies, £10 to spend on a website, a lovely dress I chose from Dorothy Perkins, £70 to spend in a local restaurant, £100 BHS card and my best physical prize to date: a range oven. We had only just recently decided that we would have to buy a new oven, so it's great timing. Now I just need to win a kitchen makeover so that my kitchen can be revamped to fit the oven in!

I started comping in October whilst recovering from surgery, and for 6 weeks, nothing, I was becoming a bit disallusioned until one day I arrived home from shopping (had been to brantano's) and found a letter on the doormat, containing £100 of brantano vouchers! I kept them for the sale and managed to get 3 pairs of boots and the cutest red suede shoes ever, from then it was 6 weeks til the next win, a set of pyrex bakeware from a raffle copter comp , so i figured a prize every 6 weeks? 2 weeks later, a set of promarkers worth £25 from a cardcraft mag, which my daughter uses on her art course, and 2 boxes of sweets vis facebook, the very next week a bottle of vera wang perfume (facebook) and a book of patterns for crochet animal hats (another craft mag) but I just got word of my best win yet, thanks to homebase via facebook : £450 of garden equipment!
I'm on a roll guys, this is so exciting and I wish I'd thought of it earlier.

I only started comping on January 1st this year (my New Year Resolution). In spite of being on holiday and having to miss nearly 3 weeks of entering any competitions, I've managed a decent amount of wins! So far I've won tickets to the Cruise Show, tickets to a screenings a talk about music in the Full Monty, Imperial Leather bath items, craft papers, a couple if beautiful handmade items and my best win so far, tickets to Let It Be, the Beatles Story in London.
This is someone who always thought they were unlucky!
I really can't thank this site enough! It's brilliant!!

February has been a lovely month for me. My favourite and top win was my Hive Heating Kit which I'm delighted with as my daughter has figured out how to use the thermometer!
