  • Tesco gift voucher and few extras!

I was about to give up comping after starting back in January and having no luck what so ever. I was on line one night and started looking at the twitter comps. I entered the Esso weekly competition to win a £100 tesco giftcard then didnt think any more of it. A week late my name was tagged and i was astonished that I'd finally won something.
I was asked for details for a signed delivery and when i got home a large box was waiting.

The £100 gift voucher had been sent in a cooler bag/ ruck sack, complete with a book on preparing picnic food, a picnic blanket, a small flask and then an offer to send a picture to Esso and they'll print the picture as 10 postcards!

I was so made up and its spurred me on to keep comping now. So When I'm sat watching TV I will now enter a few comps and will see what comes next!

  • An Unforgettable Family Win

I entered a Lion Guard, Disney Junior competition in March on Facebook that I had spotted on Prizefinder! It was just a photo of us all roaring along with a description of why we are stronger together. To my amazement I had a call on the Tuesday asking if I was able to accept the prize and travel to London that Saturday with my family. Needless to say we dropped everything to accept! Saturday morning we travelled down to London on the train to be whisked off to a studio and have photos done. The rest of the day we had free, so after checking in at K West in Shepherds Bush, we squeezed a trip to Hamleys in and a meal before picking up our tickets for Lion King at the Lyceum. It was the most amazing thing we had ever seen, my boys just loved it from start to finish! The photos that we had taken were sent off to a guy in USA who digitally transformed us into lions. They were released to the press in early April and we featured in New Day, Daily Mail Online and our local papers too. We really have had our 5 minutes of fame as well as genuinely a unique experience we will never forget, all thanks to my hobby!

  • A Year of Foodie Wins

I had entered the odd competition before, but started comping in earnest when I discovered the Prizefinder website a year ago.
My very first prize were VIP tickets to the Taste of London Show incl. a hotel stay and throughout the year I managed to win some really lovely prizes, strangely all but a couple (deodorant & a crime novel) food related, despite entering all sorts of competitions for household goods, furniture, clothes, electronics and holidays. But I’m not complaining! I’ve won an afternoon champagne tea, a meal in a Cuban restaurant, a tea bundle from Teapig worth £200, an ice cream make, a bag of dairy products, a tub of ice cream, a bar of chocolate and six cookery books. I had a complete dry spell from November to May, but persevered and won three prizes on one day this month: invitations to a supper club, tickets to the BBC Good Food Show and the mini cheesecake in the photo!

  • Meeting Michael Morpurgo!

I was delighted to win a low entry competition on Twitter recently. To enter, you had to tweet a picture of where your wellies take you, which is the title of Michael Morpurgo's new book. Are used a lovely picture of my two children on the beautiful island of sky last year, wearing wellies to go for a walk. It was a short run competition and rather lower entry and, to my delight, we were picked as a witness! The price was two tickets to see Michael Morpurgo's new show and a copy of his book. I decided to go with my son, and we were thrilled to be able to get a selfie With Michael after the show. The book is beautiful and we had a very happy day out together. It does show that it is always worth entering Twitter competitions where photographs on needed, especially if you keep photographs from special occasions and unusual locations!

When I started comping I always had a wishlist and at the top of the list was something that finally turned up two weeks ago. Some people wish to win a car, a holiday or a vast amount of cash, but for me, rocking up to play group with my little boy on this dream-machine was my ultimate win :) . Thank you ThePrizeFinder for making all our dreams come true...

Last year I've won a 3 night hotel stay in Devon with Coastal Magazine. We're going this weekend to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and I'm so excited!!! We will be treated to champagne afternoon tea on arrival, plus breakfast and dinner every day. The hotel has just opened a brand new spa, so whatever the weather, we're going to have a lovely time for sure! :)

This month I began trying some daily entry competitions after reading about a winner who had won all her prizes this way. I used to think I'd never win anything in a daily entry comp for some reason. Managed to bag 4 AA batteries from Battery Force! Not my best win to date but it's something! Hopefully the start of more wins in general - been a pretty lean year. I too am amazed when I read how many prizes some people win - lucky them!!

  • Amarula has good taste :-)

In January this year I was delighted to hear that I had been picked as a winner in an online competition on the Amarula liqueur website. The prize was a luxury night away in a 'Handpicked Hotel' , a 3 course dinner for two and a bottle of Amarula Liqueur. We excitedly accepted the prize and opted to travel in April 2016. Our choice of hotel was Crathorne Hall in Yarm, North Yorkshire. We upgraded our room and were given the luxurious Maltby deluxe suite complete with balcony . My partner and I had a fabulous time, the staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. We plan to return in the future and would highly recommend this hotel to you all. :-) Natalie x

  • Another great win!

I haven't had a great year for comping, having had less time than usual to commit to my hobby. In February I won an amazing prize - a trip to the BAFTAs, and since then I have not had any more luck. This didn't put me off as my February trip had been so incredible I didn't think I would have another win for a long time, but a few days ago I checked my email and found a winning email from Bon Marche, I had won a two night trip to a four star hotel! I am going to use the price which includes breakfast and dinner on one of the nights for my wedding anniversary this year. This is my first 'holiday' win so I am really excited, I love winning things which otherwise I never would have thought to do/buy for myself. Thank you Prizefinder and good luck everyone for next month!
