Meet Our Latest Winners!

As I mentioned in my last winning story I won two Biscuiteers 'Spotty Dotties' a couple of days apart and here they are. I still haven't eaten them yet. Anyone who has won one already will know that they come in a beautiful box and are well protected in the post. I did win one some months ago and kept the box for sentimental reasons - they are so pretty. Since the beginning of September I have also won two Winter in Venice Pamper packs. I have been told that I won one of the 5 runner up prizes of a Nikon camera from London Evening Standard and some cycling sunglasses (Spiuk) arrived in the post yesterday. Not bad for September already eh?! Without PrizeFinder I couldn't win all this, so thanks very much to all of you.

After a year-long winning drought (despite entering lots of comps), I finally received a winner's email this week to tell me I am one of the winners of the Radisson Blu Social Eyes competition. The prize is a free night at any of their participating hotels worldwide. The competition involved providing travel tips for cities where Radisson Blu have hotels, and winners were picked each week. I entered a couple of tips about hidden cocktail bars in London and Birmingham and was thrilled to win in the very last week of the competition. I'm planning to use the prize to stay in a 5 star London hotel with my best friend and go in search of more quirky cocktail bars :-).

I started comping again 3 weeks ago. I went straight back to ThePrizeFinder as I won my Christmas Kelly Bronze Turkey with their help 4 years ago. Guess what?... An email arrived yesterday from Tastebuds Magazine to say that I have won a three course meal for two and an overnight stay at Mill End Hotel in Devon. Thank you! My husband and I are so looking forward to this treat.

It was on a dark, wet January day this year that I received a call from Paramount Pictures stating I'd won a trekking holiday for 2 to Mont Blanc!
This was a promotional competition for the film Nebraska and was being run by The Daily Telegraph.
I remember entering the competition through Theprizefinder.com and this win was just the tonic, as I was recovering from back injuries sustained from a serious car crash in December 2013.
Getting fit to enjoy this trip was my goal. In August 2014 I took my brother, and we flew to Geneva with Swissair, transferred to Chamonix and began our 14 day trek around Mont Blanc, visiting France, Switzerland and Italy.
It was a superb trip with a challenging 105 miles walked in total over the 2 weeks, with 12 other people in the group. We all camped in tents every night and this added to a great Alpine experience.

The old adage that you have to be in it to win it is so true. I have had two more wins, we were having a quite summer holiday at home, though not through choice. So I had been entering every competition going for tickets to the Lollybop Festival at Hatfield House, and got a family pass for a day, there was so much to do. I also won a DVD. I love my rock music, and won: "Don't Stop Believin: Everyman's Journey", the story of how a Youtube singer became the new vocalist for an old rock group, fascinating. I wonder if it could happen to me?

August has been a bit of a lean month really but I did win an Inbetweeners 2 t-shirt from Rollover Hotdogs on FB (loved the film) and also I was one of the winners of the recent Florette #SaladWars competition. I won John Lewis Orb weighing scales which is great, but I'm more excited about the fact that they're going to make my recipe (strawberry and peppercress creme brûlée) and it will be professionally photographed! This is the great thing about entering competitions; the scope to win that elusive money-can't-buy experience!

You can imagine my surprise when I heard that I'd won a year's supply of cider! It was a bit of a shock when 375 bottles showed up on my door step! The lorry couldn't get to my house so they left the pallet in the middle of the road, 25 crates of the stuff. Yum!

This month I won a prize high on the wish list. I am moving house in the coming year so therefore I am focussing heavily on homewear and appliances. I hunt these competitions out specifically and it's worked really well this month. I haven't won just little things this month but fewer really amazing big things.

I've also won some cinema vouchers, which is great but getting to the cinema with a new baby is going to have to wait!!

Because of other things I had to do, I haven't done much comping for quite a while.

I started again just over a week ago, and obviously came back to ThePrizefinder. One of the first ones I entered was a simple retweet on the Argos Twitter page to win a Fisher Price Laugh and Learn House. I was thrilled to have a DM telling me I'd won.

There wasn't a picture of the prize so I was expecting a small parcel, with a little kiddies toy. I was quite surprised when the postie delivered a large box as high as my waist! It turns out to be a kiddies toy that is a bit bigger than I thought and sells at £59.99!

So even the prizes you know you've won can surprise you!

Here's hoping this is the sign of good prizes to come :-)

I have had a few dryish months with not many wins but this month its picked up again.

It started off with an Amazon voucher win, which a few days later won from the same company again!

Then some Leisure vouchers from a Facebook comp. We have had 2 family meals out on those!!

Several daily spin to wins which I always love - even if they are very small wins - a win is a win.

But my fave has to be my @davelackie win on Twitter which I have pictured - some gorgeous Calvin Klein sunglasses and Calvin Klein perfume which is absolutely gorgeous!

I do a combination of ThePrizeFinder, Twitter, Facebook, Loquax and email comps and also anything I buy that has a competition on I enter - of course I dont buy anything just because it has a comp on it - nooooooooo lol lol
