After only starting comping properly in February, I've had a few small wins. But this week I got a tweet from my local shopping centre saying I'd won a meal for 2 at the new Handmade Burger Co Restaurant in my town!! I'm collecting my prize on Saturday and will be eating there in the evening with my friend!

I was absolutely astounded to win this lovely hamper from a competition listed on ThePrizefinder - trouble is, I can't remember which one and this arrived with the postman out of the blue beautifully wrapped and full of delicious food in time for Easter so I am absolutely certain it was won in an Easter competition!! I was really pleased to win it and love using the Prizefinder to find more competitions that I would normally be able to do on my own without any help!! Thank you for my lovely win - we have two 20+ children still living at home, so food is a very useful prize to win!!

Last July i won an amazing holiday to Mexico through Mexicanna Cheese and they have been great as i wanted to take it Now as i was 50 yesterday and love to do fantastic things on my birthdays. Not only were we allowed to pay a bit and extend the trip from 5 to 10 days it was for 4 people so Here i am ( yes im writing this in Playa Del Carman) but i am here with my hubby and my brother and sister-in-law how perfect a 50th birthday is that. Yesterday i spent my special day by the pool with a lovely posh dinner last night, and tomorrow we are off site seeing to the Tulum ruins and then swimming in a Cenote in the afternoon. What a Fabulous prize thanks to some yummy Cheese.

I received an email saying I had won lots of crates of beer, 2 t-shirts and a brewery tour! I gave them to my sons as I do not drink! The beers were delivered with a lovely note from the suppliers! The brewery tour was not though, as we have been so rushed of our feet!

Apart from some books and a few small bits and pieces 2015 had been a quiet year for prizes until one morning in mid-April. Firstly there was an email from Dorset Cereals to let me know I had won a case of their cereals as a runner up prize in their monthly draw. I had just replied thanking them and confirming my address when up popped a second email, this time from Campbell’s foods, to tell me I had won their Easter hamper comprising joints of beef and lamb, a chicken, smoked haddock portions and a side of smoked salmon plus a selection of cheeses. Again I had to confirm delivery address and select a day for delivery. Both prizes were delivered a week later, a couple of days before the family joined me to celebrate my birthday. Everything was so tasty and I will be hard put to offer so many dining delights for future visits.
I have noticed over many years of comping that prizes seem to go in cycles. One year I won tickets to half a dozen different events for example and another when the prizes were almost all entertainment themed from concert tickets to books, CDs and DVDs so maybe I should concentrate on food related comps this year as that seems to be where the luck lies so far. Many thanks to Prizefinder for pointing the way to these and many more competitions I might otherwise never some across.

I entered a competition from the Universal Channel website for a Fast and furious 7 boxset and exclusive goodies and won now my partner and I have been watching the boxset on our date nights so I am very pleased with my prize once we have watched them all we are planning on going to our local cinema and watching fast and furious 7.

I've fallen out of love with Twitter recently and this month I've rediscovered and been concentrating on blog competitions due to having virtually no spare time. My focus this year has been for home bits and pieces for when we move and baby toddler stuff and I've got to focus on things I want due to time restraints. After last months nursery furniture win, I got a surprise email saying I'd won a gorgeous kids book shelf and I'm delighted! It's the second ever rafflecooter/blog win I've had so it's spurred me to search out blog comps for things I want. The odds are usually good and I find bookmarking is a great way to up your chances.

I had a rather slow start to the month, just down to luck and being out of the country for a week ( not comping for that long nearly killed me! Haha)
I've been a lot of your Twitter comps lately due to not having a lot of time, and they're quick!
So after a dry 2 weeks, I get an email saying I'd won an I PAD AIR!!!! SO HAPPY!!

This month was a nice month for wins. A steady stream of little bits and bobs. Today, I got a WEM for a £20 The Works voucher... I've won 36 prizes this month and my favourite was a tablet... FINALLY!

During my almost 2 years of comping, I've won all sorts... Holidays, washing machines, televisions, money, make up, toys, even 2 beds but never won an electronic tablet... Until this month! I've finally won a lovely tablet and it's my daughter's new favourite thing! She loves watching her favourite movies on it and I haven't even had a look in!

Here's to another great month, hoping for an even better won in April.. I'm itching for another holiday! Or a car! ;)
