Share Your October Wins

Hello everyone!  How is your week going, any nice wins to report?  Nothing new to report here but I did manage to get most of the way through the End of Month (EOM) competitions last night, so fingers crossed for lots of lovely wins coming through now!  September wasn’t too bad a month for me, winning nine separate prizes totalling around £220 in value.  Here is a break-down of what I won over the last month:

• An Elvis & Kresse handbag, worth £184 from COOK magazine
• 2 x GoodReads books
• A Gatorade drinks bottle, from their monthly competition
• A bottle of Ecover washing up liquid, from a tag competition on Facebook
• A Playmobil horse set, from a caption contest on Facebook
• A copy of Dreamworks magazine, from Sun Perks
• A bottle of Headrin head lice treatment, from a blog comp
• A cuddly toy owl, from a Twitter competition

So as you can see another month with prizes spread across various methods – online entry, Facebook, Twitter, blog and a creative entry too!  Lots of small wins for me, as well as the lovely designer handbag, but all those little wins keep us going don’t they and are often practical and useful or make nice treats for loved ones.  Either way all these smaller value prizes still give me as big a rush to win as the big ones do – this hobby really is the best isn’t it!

Anyway enough about me, let’s see what everyone else has been winning over the last moth:

VillageFox started the month well winning some nice treats for little ones including a MilkShake goody bag from a Twitter party, a Back to School sweets bundle on Twitter and a win from Netmums including a trip to the Mister Maker Live tour and crafty goodies – I bet your son was over the moon!  Superduperlauz made a great start to the month too by winning £100 of Love2Shop vouchers – what a great start to the Christmas fund, and laura44v had a fab win of an iPad mini from one of the OK/Daily Star/Daily Express comps – a very impressive win!  Cazzycaz had a nice win of some earrings from a blog comp, and caspertheghost had a nice win of a bundle of toys from STV – they nearly missed this win as the email wasn’t showing in their inbox, but thankfully the promoter called to chase up, phew!  Carolemmett won’t be short of breakfast cereals over the next few months after winning six boxes of muesli on the Dorset Cereals “Find Mike” Facebook comp, laura55v’s doggies won’t go hungry either after she won some dog treats from Webbox on Facebook.  Goatinaboat was off looking at some other boats this month after winning some tickets for the Southampton Boat Show, and Lindowal must have had fun spending the £50 they won to spend on the Boris & Doris website. 

It’s nice to hear of people winning from the click to win competitions from time to time, as Carolemmett did this month.  They managed to win a Benross Speed Driver from the daily entry Today’s Golfer competition, so it proves that persistence can pay off with these regular comps.

I think the title of most prolific comper this month probably has to go to kayaaaa who had a fantastic winning month in September!  She managed to bag an impressive haul including a £200 Ticketmaster voucher from Vimto on Facebook, accessories from Select on Twitter, a dress and t-shirt wort $300 from a Twitter comp and shoe fillers also through Twitter.  You seem to be the Twitter Queen, well done and look forward to reading all your October wins soon!
