Back to School - Win a £50 Tesco Voucher (CLOSED)

Hello everyone!  How was your weekend, any nice wins to report?  Won another Goodreads book and a free pint of Carling from their iPint app, but I do have one other win to report – I have finally won a break away!  Yes, you read that correctly, after years of trying I have finally managed to win a holiday related prize – hurrah!  I have won a romantic mini-break at Chiltern Valley B&B in Oxfordshire, including a two hour vineyard and Brewery tour – I am really rather excited!  I won the comp through Mills & Boon and despite having missed their first email somehow they were kind enough to chase me up with a second, which I quickly responded to  So just goes to show that perseverance pays off and you realty can win those Wish List prizes if you just keep trying!

Well we are in the home straight now, less than two weeks to go now until the kids go back to school.  We have had some fun this summer, as well as some boring days for the kids when we have been working or doing chores, but I don’t think a little boredom is a bad thing.  Entertaining the little ones all day every day doesn’t set them up to have a very good imagination I don’t think; they need time to work out games on their own and realise that we are not there to tell them what to do every second of the day.  Still, I am rather glad that the end is in sight now as the girls are starting to get on each other’s nerves and it is almost time to get back to some sort of normality, routine and into early nights again.

If you have little ones going back to or starting school in September have you finished all your shopping for uniform, shoes and accessories?  Just a pair of shoes and a pencil case left to get here and then we will be done.  Back to school shopping can be a very expensive thing though, especially if you have more than one child to buy for or have older children at high school.  Here at The PrizeFinder we want to help lighten the load of back to school, shopping, by offering you the chance to win in our fabulous monthly members-only competition.  Join in with this month’s comp and you could be wining £50 to spend at Tesco on whatever you want – pick up some uniform essentials, a new backpack, stationery goodies or just fill up the fridge and cupboards ready for all those packed lunches and after school snacks.

To enter all you need to do is to tell me in the comments below what your favourite subject at school was.  For me it would probably be English Literature – so many books and just not enough time in the day!  You need to be a registered PrizeFinder member and logged into your account to enter.  One entry per person and one winner will be chosen at random after the closing date of 23:59 on Sunday 30th August 2015.

Happy comping everyone, and lots of Lucky dust to you all!

Kirsty x

My fave was always History. It always fascinated me and still does. Plus my History teacher was kind of insane which always made for memorable lessons!

My favourite was maths, I used to hate it as I really disliked my teacher but then I moved into a different set and I respected the new teacher and really enjoyed it.

Woodwork. I had to persuade the teachers that girls could do woodwork though I was the only girl in my year to take the subject (this was in the 1970's). I got an "A" in my O'Level :-)
