Hello again compers! Halfway through July already? One more week before my children are off for the summer holidays? Doesn’t seem possible does it! However, we have already had our first full beach day of the year, had several picnics and consumed copious amounts of ice creams! How about you, have the summer festivities started in your house yet? What is still on your summer Wish List? I have managed to pick up some nice little foodie treats to add to picnics, mainly courtesy of the Higgidy Catch a Quiche game (if you haven’t tried it yet you can play here until 3rd September 2014). I am still hoping to win some other nice summer related items – maybe a new picnic hamper or some beach toys!
To get your summer off to a great start, to celebrate July being National Ice Cream Month and to give the kiddos something delicious and homemade to enjoy during the holidays, The Prizefinder have a fantastic exclusive competition for all our members! We are giving away a 1.45L Ice Cream Maker from Andrew James. With this nifty piece of kitchen kit you will be able to make your family and friends delicious, homemade ice creams, sorbets and frozen yogurt in under 30 minutes! It comes with a free recipe booklet and was voted “Best Buy” by Which Magazine! All you need to do to enter is to comment on this blog and let us know your favourite ice cream flavour! This is a very difficult question for me, it depends what mood I am in! Some days I would say mint choc chip, some days it is strawberry, some days salted caramel - so many cie cream flavorus, and so little time! Entries will close at 23:59 on Tuesday 22nd July 2014, and one winner will be chosen at random.
So get your thinking caps on and enter in the comments section below!
Happy comping, and lots of Lucky Dust to you all!
Kirsty x

I love ice cream I always find it so difficult to decide on a flavour, so I will go with the flavour that I last had which was when I was on a walking weekend in the Lake District and I had a very refreshing lemon flavoured ice cream - yummy!
