WIN £10 for EVERY goal scored by England against Cost Rica - World Cup 2014 (CLOSED)

Hello again everyone!  Well, hasn’t the World Cup been exciting so far!  Even if you aren’t a football fan, it is very difficult not to get swept up in the patriotism of a nation behind its national Football Team!  It has been England central in our house – flags, music, Brazilian Samba before school in the mornings – you name it!

And now England has played 2 out of its 3 Group Stage games for this year’s World Cup, and it's all looking a bit gloomy – beaten in both their first 2 games against Italy and Uruguay 2-1!  All is not lost though, we are all praying for a miracle in the form of Italy winning both their remaining matches, and England winning by a couple of good goals against against Costa Rica in their third and final Group Stage game on Tuesday 24th June 2014!

To mark this pivotal moment for the England team, The Prizefinder are offering a great competition to all its members – WIN £10 for every goal England score in the game against Costa Rice on Tuesday!  If England don’t score at all, we will give away £10 as a consolation prize anyway!  To enter simply login to your Prizefinder account and leave a message of support for the team in the blog comments section below!  One winner per England goal will be chosen at random from all entries received on this blog by 16:59 on Tuesday 24th June 2014 – just before the match kicks off!  COME ON ENGLAND!

Terms and Conditions

  • The prize is £10 cash for every goal scored by England against Costa Rica on Tuesday 24th June 2014. 
  • Prizes to be paid by cheque
  • One winner will be chosen for every goal scored by England in the match.  If England don’t score any goals then one winner will be chosen at random from all entries
  • Open to UK residents aged 18 or over
  • Entrants must be registered PrizeFinder users and logged in to their account
  • Entrants must leave a blog comment with a message of support for the England Team by 16:59 on Tuesday 24th June 2014
  • Only one entry per person
  • The winner will be chosen at random after the last England Group Stage game on Tuesday 24th June 2014
  • The winner will be notified by email within 7 days of the closing date, and must confirm their postal address within 28 days or an alternative winner will be selected

Never mind.

Lets hope we play the youngsters on Tuesday and come back home with a good win under our belts and a bit of confidence for the future.

Too late now but I predict a 4 - 0 win for England against Costa Rica as they throw off their inhibitions and salvage their pride before boarding the plane home.
