Share Your May Wins

Hello again everyone, well hasn’t April just flown by!  Due to having the children home for Easter and a house move on top of that, April for me was a pretty dry spell in terms of wins, until we reached the 21st!  Up until then I had only won 4 prizes, but since then I have won an additional 11 prizes, bringing my total for April to 14 prizes!  Here is a selection of my favourite wins this month:

• A £5 Sainsbury’s Voucher from the WomenFreebies Easter Instant Win
• A pair of tickets to see the Riverdance 20th Anniversary Tour with Littlewoods on Twitter
• £30 Amazon voucher from MagicFreebies on Twitter
• A hamper of Perkier Foods from Extreme Couponing on Facebook
• A Hobbit The Desolation of Smaug 3D Blu-ray and extra goodies from Get Into Films on Twitter

So, let’s see how everyone else has fared this busy month – A few of us managed to get £5 vouchers for various retailers through the Women Freebies Easter egg hunt, including xxme2uxx, frilly_Tilly and Lish2013, lalahotpants had a great Pinterest win of £250, iestyn2012 won To catch a Falling Star in a blog comp, Benthebrindle won an iTunes voucher from Into The Blue on Facebook, beanii won a very tasty £200 from rocknrollmum.com, Joe_nope joined us on the blog for the first time, is new to comping and has already won A Fisher Price Farm set via a Rafflecopter comp for their Godson, and GillianA1973 had her first Facebook win too, a box of After Eight mints!

This month xxme2uxx managed to find some unclaimed wins of hers using http://www.social-searcher.com/ and fortunately the promoters have honoured the prizes!  It definitely pays to use some of these tools and I will be doing a blog on the subject of finding your unclaimed wins next month so stay tuned!

I think the title of “best useful, odd win” this month goes to jjandmattybb for their prize  of a Laundry Egg from TV Choice!  And massive congrats to kslade who won a £450 wedding stationary set, which they are very kindly donating to their sister for her wedding!  What a lovely gesture, I love when comping wins can be used to help others!

Going forward for me, I would love to start winning some treats for the summer – days out, some vouchers for summer clothes, maybe even a break away!  I would also dearly love to win a new laptop for my poor husband, whose current one is not long for this world I fear.  What are you all focusing on trying to win at the moment?
