I would choose Heart Shaped Box by Nirvana, it's my fave song and my husband made me a heart shaped box with the lyrics in it which he gave to me on our first Valentine's Day over 10 years ago. I would like to return the favor!

Ketty Lester - Some Things are Better Left Unsaid. Love this record and had been after it for years. My husband got a friend of friends to buy it for me 400 miles away and sent down to us via friends for Christmas. Just the thought and effort involved makes it extra special to me.

Werewolves Of London - Warren Zevon. My boyfriend was a DJ in an indie club and I asked him for this song. After that he'd play it every time I walked in! He asked me out a month or two later and and we've been together eight years now.

My favourite is Everybody's Free (To Wear Sunscreen) by Quindon Tarver.

I listen to it every morning on the way back from the school run. Each day I pick one lyric to aspire to. It gives me motivation and hope for whatever the day throws at me.

If I won I'd hang it on my office wall to remind me through the day. x

Hard to say I'm sorry-Chicago, Its the first record that was playing in my bedroom in the homeless accomadtion i was staying when my partner asked me out back in 1996. I had fancied him for ages but didn't have the courage to ask him out, I didn't realise he felt the same until he asked to kiss me....Still happy together after all these years

My choice would be "Don't Stop Me Now" by Queen. I'd choose this because it has inspired me to positive thinking through some pretty bad times. The song always makes me feel positive and happy !

Because You Loved me by Celine Dion. I had been in an abusive marriage before I met my current husband and my former husband had made me feel worthless. Tom has given me and my children the support we needed. Since meeting him (23 years ago) I have been back to college, got A levels and a BTEC HND and started my own business.

The song just totally sums up my life with my husband.

Our special song is My Beautiful Friend by The Charlatan. It was our wedding first dance song and the reason it's so special to us because it's how my husband (then my boyfriend) told me how he felt about me! He picked me up in the car one night, and before we went off on our date, he said, could you just listen to this, and played the song....he said he couldn't tell me how he felt as he was to shy!

Donny Osmond Puppy Love - It was the first record i ever had and my nan bought it for me in Woolworths when i was 7 as i had just been in hospital for an operation. My dad had gone to currys to buy a car radio he had been saving for (this was the 70s) and came out with a lovely record player for me - it was a mustard color square one and the records stacked up but i only had Puppy Love for ages until i saved up my pocket money to buy another record. These are treasured memories of a wonderful childhood with my family who are no longer around x

Never gonna give you up. My Husband loved Rick Astley (I know I still Married him) this would be for the kids to remember him by as he is no longer with us. Not being a Debbie Downer or playing the sympathy card I promise. Still hate that song mind.

Our song is 'Jai-Ho'.. It was our first dance at our wedding, because we didn't want to be stuck feeling awkward with a slow number. Took everyone by surprise that's for sure!

Won't Get Fooled Again by The Who
It just takes me back to an amazing time in my life (my teenage years!) with the lyrics having a resonance with us all. The opening bars still send a tingle up my spine and make me smile!!
