Hooray - it's September and the kids are finally back at school! It's a huge relief for me as I've spent 6 weeks juggling childcare, DIY and work - now my son has started at his new nursery I can concentrate on the really important things. Like... comping, of course!
As usual, your August wins were great. Anneka456 won a fabulous trip to Australia on Facebook, hayleydeakin bagged an iPad Mini with Chupa Chups, Esskay won £1000 of garden furniture with Delia Online, pinkabbott was delighted with a Ragdale Hall spa day win, flash1701 won a coffee machine, and I'm very jealous of chibby1978's prize of £1000 of tiles, which is just what I need for my own bathroom.
As for unusual prizes, sloopy123 won a candlemaking course, and xxme2uxx won 12 donuts! Poor old scolyn1 didn't win a thing, so we have our fingers crossed she has a lucky September.

Fantastic surprise of the postman today, a prize off Harpers Bazaar which was an Aveda invati haircare set which consisted of shampoo, conditioner and scalp revitalizer worth over £80! Very happy I am can't wait to use it! :-D

I heard that I'd won the
I heard that I'd won the Fentimans Rule Botanicals competition. Had forgotten all about it as it was over a year ago that I entered. The prize is a holiday in a stately home for upto eleven people, a Lord and Lady title, a coat of arms and a piece of land together with all title deeds etc. we're busy choosing where to go with all the family at the moment. A wonderful prize after such a lean year!!!! Thank you Fentimans!

After 4 and a half months
After 4 and a half months with no wins I've certainly struck lucky recently - since the beginning of September I've won tickets to the Cake and Bake and the Caravan and Motorhome Shows at the NEC, a £100 Clas Ohlson Voucher, a pair of Joules wellies, a camping lantern, and an intensive face serum. Still waiting for the 'big one' though, but I'm always very grateful for any wins. Happy comping guys!
