Hooray - it's September and the kids are finally back at school! It's a huge relief for me as I've spent 6 weeks juggling childcare, DIY and work - now my son has started at his new nursery I can concentrate on the really important things. Like... comping, of course!

As usual, your August wins were great. Anneka456 won a fabulous trip to Australia on Facebook, hayleydeakin bagged an iPad Mini with Chupa Chups, Esskay won £1000 of garden furniture with Delia Online, pinkabbott was delighted with a Ragdale Hall spa day win, flash1701 won a coffee machine, and I'm very jealous of chibby1978's prize of £1000 of tiles, which is just what I need for my own bathroom.

As for unusual prizes, sloopy123 won a candlemaking course, and xxme2uxx won 12 donuts! Poor old scolyn1 didn't win a thing, so we have our fingers crossed she has a lucky September.

thankyou and you will believe me ive been comping a few years now and gained a lot of experience on different ways to enter comps and I know in another few years year I will be better at it than I am now....2 months isn't very long took me around a month to win my first prize I think a hand wash then a few suprize wins turned up out the blue I won weeks before and didn't know I had won but competitions are a lot more popular nowadays so may take abit longer but it will happen I promise as long as you do it properly and read lots of advice on prizefinder and enter as many as you can your prizes will be rolling in! good luck. x

Another month has gone by

Another month has gone by without a single win :( I think it's been over a year now since I actually won something. I have been comping since 2011 and have only won 6 things so far, to the total value of around £100, so not too exciting. I don't know how much longer before I lose my motivation :(
