My Mum is 79 years old, this year, and loves tending her garden, (but it has slopes that would make Mount Everest blush!)
My sister and I would be so relieved if she had a gardener that could do as she would do, but without needing the grappling hooks and grippons,( or whatever mountaineers call them)!

I would have loved to take my mum to the sea side where she could have paddled in the sea and bathed her aching feet in salt water. To make sure it was warm water I would like to have taken her to Australia where she could meet her long lost cousin.
I'm sure the sunshine would have helped her feel better but unfortunately the journey would have been rather too long for her.

My Mum is very special and she's had a lot to cope with lately with dad in hospital.
This morning she's come down with a nasty chest infection which means she can't visit him, or her new granddaughter born last night to my lovely daughter Lois.

Like a lot of others, a cure for all ills would be the best present for my mum and for me, but failing that, then a break to Guernsey or the Isles of Scilly would be her ideal, plus a fresh supply of gorgeous smelling freesias every week!
