Have you seen my interview in the Daily Express today? Along with fellow compers Christine and Jenny, I'm telling my comping story - and giving a few tips on how to win prizes:
• Keep an eye out for on-pack promotions while doing the weekly shop
• Sign up to Facebook and Twitter - most big brands run comps on their Facebook page
• Try your hand at recipe, photo, blog or tiebreaker competitions - they don't have many entries so you have a great chance of winning!
• Visit www.theprizefinder.com. It lists hundreds of online competitions to save you the effort of having to find them
• Concentrate on competitions offering the prizes you'd really love to win rather than trying to enter everything
• Involve the family in your hobby. There are loads of fun competitions for kids on the internet
The photoshoot was a nightmare - the photographer kept asking me to get out more prizes. And more prizes. And even MORE prizes! I'm glad my son wasn't there to cause a riot with all that Butterkist...
I hope that the article is inspiring to those of you who are new to comping - it proves with a bit of work you really can win those biggies!
You can read the interview on the Daily Express website or on page 29 of today's paper.

What on earth is a Sun Jar? Well done!
I don't do many of the survey ones at all; I just find them too time-consuming and although I hear of winners from the sites, they do get a lot of entries. I'd much rather concentrate on the more fun skill-based or Facebook comps where you know fewer people will be entering!
Sunjar!
It's a lovely sanded glass jar - with a solar panel hidden in the lid - it stores the sunlight during the day, and then in the dark it glows a beautiful blue haze. Very pretty.

Oh I see - I like the look of that! You should upload it with your winners story for this month's £50 draw!

Do you actually keep all your wins? There seems to be alot of stuff in the photo. I tend to give a lot of mine away. My family love it cos they get alot of freebies.
I don't keep all my prizes,
I don't keep all my prizes, no - I often give prizes away to family and friends, and to charity raffles. Most of the prizes in the photo aren't new - Ry's playing with all those toys, I use the handbags, wear the shoes, and keep all the cooking bits in their boxes! The only real new prize there is the DVD player which we gave to mother-in-law the following day. And I hold on to most of the cleaning products and dish them out to family members when they're running low!!
so unlucky
I had been on sick leave for 6 weeks after having surgery on my hand. I found this website by chance & decided I may as well enter some comps to pass the time. Over a weekend I entered nearly 300 comps & do you know what I didn't win one single thing.I have done at least 30 per day since & still haven't won a thing.I reckon I must be the unluckiest person in the world

Don't give up yet! It can take months for your first prize to arrive! You could always try Facebook for comps too - you get quick results on there as some comps only last a matter of hours!
When I feel urgh. I can't be bothered, I read these stories, and carry on! This morning I took delivery of a Sun Jar! Yay! Not sure where I won it from, but delighted!
Di - do you enter the type of comps, where you are led to "tick our promotions, while we validate your entry", I always avoid these ones.... I thought they were spam generating ones.
