So at the beginning of September I started comping again after comping on and off for several months. I then stopped in October just because I didn't have much time. I'm starting out again because I know just how worth it comping can be. Heres what I won in a months time:

face cream rrp £40 via twitter
accesories from select rrp £10 via twitter
£200 Ticket master voucher VIA vimto on facebook
Alexander wan dress and tee from twitter worth $300 (dont know what that is in pounds!)
Shoe fillers through a Twitter competition
MURAD face cream through a beauty website

Its such a thrill when you get a winning email. Im going to comp for the rest of the day now because I have finished work!

good luck all and happy comping :)

  • Four Hours To Use Your Prize

I entered a prize with the Honest Mum blogger on Facebook without really reading it (something I often do when in a comping hour!) It wasn't until 1pm the next day that I realised I'd been notified of the win - four tickets to a Frozen concert at The Royal Albert Hall for that evening at 6.30! At first, I was unsure if I would accept as it takes nearly 2 hours to drive to London from my home. I quickly changed my attitude and thought - why not? We have nothing else to do tonight so let's go!! I pre-booked a car parking space 5 minutes from the venue and off we went. And what an experience?! The whole hall was alive with excitement and energy (mostly from my kids!)There aren't many 2 and 3 year olds (and 29 year olds!) to go to such an amazing venue - part of our English history and culture! We all loved every single minute...what a prize!

  • October was a lucky month after a dry spell

Well after a few dry months i have finally won a few things, nothing big but it all helps!!! I normally spend an hour a day entering comps and am quite picky to avoid winning items i don't need or want as then i think it's a prize someone else might want.
My first win was a £25 voucher for amazon from a twitter vision direct competition, this was handy!!
Second win was some Maldon sea salts from a facebook comp.
Third win was a spontex cleaning bag from facebook.
Fourth win was a children's book from a twitter comp, Xmas pressie sorted!
Fifth and sixth were both wins from the sun newspaper, a football for my daughter and a full size bottle of St Tropez.
So hopefully that's the end of my dry spell, i would be great to win some goodies for Xmas.

  • Making the most of being ill

After taking a break from comping I recently got back into it as I became ill and had to stay in bed for a week. Luckily my laptop stayed with me!

I've mostly entered Facebook comps and I've already won two things which have cheered me up immensely:

A Waterproof tube bag (that Makes me look forward to my next camping trip!)

    A XS led lantern.

I've not got bitten by the bug again and can't wait to see what I win next!
Perhapsbeing ill wasent the worst that could happen!

  • Just when i was thinking of giving up....

I've been comping for a while now and whilst having a severe 'dry spell' I thought about quitting my hobby as it just wasn't paying off. I'd had a really bad morning at work and at 6 months pregnant I felt very emotional ! On my lunch break I checked my emails and low and behold I'd finally won something again!! And it was the best thing ever !! A baby gift hamper filled with toiletries, blankets and a beautiful fabric bouquet made out of baby clothes worth £250!!! I was so chuffed !!! It really cheered me up and has spurred me on to keep going ! Never give up beacuse your winnings are just around the corner and they always come when you least expect it !! Needless to say my afternoon at work was much more enjoyable knowing I had my prize waiting for me when I got home !!

  • Eve Mattress Win

I can hardly believe it that I have won an Eve Mattress worth £500! Plus it is a fancy one with a story printed on it. Plus, I won tickets to go to the Good Food Show in Glasgow, with super theatre passes to see Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood.
I am sitting on the ceiling I am so high with delight!

  • Burlesque Amazing

    Monday, November 2, 2015

When I entered the competition for two tickets at our local theatre I thought I could not miss the opportunity to go to a live burlesque's show. When I heard I won the two tickets I was so please. It saved me £20 that I couldn't afford to pay for.
My mother has been diagnosed with Lymphoma so she was my first thought to take with me.
It was amazing to see the old theatre transformed as a few years ago it was basically falling down. The theatre looked stunning and took our breath away even before the curtain opened.
The show itself was a mixture of acts from modern and classic burlesque dances but the star of the show was Pi the mime. A male performer that was breathtaking with his form of modern and classic dance. You could tell he was professionally trained and you could hear a pin drop while he preformed.
Made a great treat for my mother so thank you for posting the link here.

  • Getting back in the game

After returning to full time work after maternity leave Ive found it so easy to lose motivation and as a result have totally lost my mojo as well as my focus...BUT I'm determined to get it back and this month I've dedicated some time to getting back into my old ways (with the help of half term time)
I've won with mumsnet A prize draw for a £100 voucher and another £100 John Lewis voucher from British Gas on Twitter. Such fab wins for this time of year! I'm more focussed than ever on spending time on fewer comps but prizes I really really want.

    Thanks PF

  • October ends on a high

    Saturday, October 31, 2015

The year started off pretty good with several wins including £100 Itunes gift cards,Race for Life Goodies around the same value, 4 Wasjig jigsaws, a T-shirt from Ray Quinn's tour at a local theatre which when I went to pick it up turned into tickets for the show instead which was brilliant, all via the Prizfinder, and thirteen books via Goodreads. I ended October with another book from Goodreads and the best one yet a Light up handbag from BagtoWear.co.uk via the Prizefinder - worth $225 (about £150) - I love it :)

I look forward to hopefully finishing off the year on a further high to match or improve on last year's tally of £1100's worth of prizes.
