Meet Our Latest Winners!

After a long drought since a couple of small prizes during last year's Advent comps, my luck finally turned around at the beginning of July and I haven't stopped winning since! I came home from work one day to find a box of Pet Munchies dog treats had been delivered, on the same day I checked my emails to find a WEM saying I'd won a £100 Camera Jungle voucher from Money Magpie, good timing as I had been considering taking photography up as a hobby again after a long break so I bought a reconditioned DSLR with the voucher. Next I won tickets to the musical 'Love Me Tender' from Yours which was at my local theatre. I took my mum out for a lovely night out down memory lane.

I'm a bit of a bookworm and had noticed lots of Prizefinder winners had won with the Goodreads giveaways so thought I would give it a go. My giveaway wins currently total 9 books so my reading list will keep me busy for months!
Most of these prizes were found thanks to the Prizefinder who makes comping so much easier. I'm now looking forward to the Advent comp season, just hope my winning streak continues.

Ive been comping for a while and love it but the last two months have been a total dry spell for me. Then at the start of the month i have a little win of tickets to the National Pet Show .. so this picked me up a little.. then another win trickled in which was a book from Good Reads.. so by now i was feeling quite lucky.. Then BAM.. the big one.. A two night stay for 4 people at Port Lympne Safari Park in a Luxury Treehouse including use of park, complimentary use of golf buggy during stay and an actual animal safari.. We are super excited to be heading down there in December.. oh man i love my hobby.. motto.. dont give up as the big wins will come

Oh my goodness I have actually won. I have just started comping and have only been going for 10 days. I tend to enter competitions as I am watching the television in the evenings and actually find it quite relaxing. My husband just raised his eyebrows when I told him what I was up to but ha! who is laughing now. It had been a horrid day. I had just found out that we had missed out on a house we were interested in buying and was feeling really disapointed when I checked my mail, there it was, a WEM (is that what its called, a winning e-mail?). The house is forgotten and i am waiting to welcome my first prize, a Disney Elsa ice castle lego set and 4 x tickets to a frozen sing-a-long performance of my choice. I am so hooked now, hopefully this is just the beginning.

I only started comping in August after a long three years studying and was enjoying a few weeks off before stating my new job. Can't believe my luck. Despite now working full time I have already won: Two Premier league football tickets and Fifa 16 from Match A set of professional Make up Brushes from Sparkle.com worth £150A huge bag of dog food from Monster pets and just this week two mystery parcels arrived two days in a row containing four world of Warrior Figures and a Hot wheels HW City set. Needless to say I'm hooked.

So at the beginning of September I started comping again after comping on and off for several months. I then stopped in October just because I didn't have much time. I'm starting out again because I know just how worth it comping can be. Heres what I won in a months time:

I entered a prize with the Honest Mum blogger on Facebook without really reading it (something I often do when in a comping hour!) It wasn't until 1pm the next day that I realised I'd been notified of the win - four tickets to a Frozen concert at The Royal Albert Hall for that evening at 6.30! At first, I was unsure if I would accept as it takes nearly 2 hours to drive to London from my home. I quickly changed my attitude and thought - why not? We have nothing else to do tonight so let's go!! I pre-booked a car parking space 5 minutes from the venue and off we went. And what an experience?! The whole hall was alive with excitement and energy (mostly from my kids!)There aren't many 2 and 3 year olds (and 29 year olds!) to go to such an amazing venue - part of our English history and culture! We all loved every single minute...what a prize!

Well after a few dry months i have finally won a few things, nothing big but it all helps!!! I normally spend an hour a day entering comps and am quite picky to avoid winning items i don't need or want as then i think it's a prize someone else might want.
My first win was a £25 voucher for amazon from a twitter vision direct competition, this was handy!!
Second win was some Maldon sea salts from a facebook comp.
Third win was a spontex cleaning bag from facebook.
Fourth win was a children's book from a twitter comp, Xmas pressie sorted!
Fifth and sixth were both wins from the sun newspaper, a football for my daughter and a full size bottle of St Tropez.
So hopefully that's the end of my dry spell, i would be great to win some goodies for Xmas.

After taking a break from comping I recently got back into it as I became ill and had to stay in bed for a week. Luckily my laptop stayed with me!

I've mostly entered Facebook comps and I've already won two things which have cheered me up immensely:

A Waterproof tube bag (that Makes me look forward to my next camping trip!)

A XS led lantern.

I've not got bitten by the bug again and can't wait to see what I win next!

I've been comping for a while now and whilst having a severe 'dry spell' I thought about quitting my hobby as it just wasn't paying off. I'd had a really bad morning at work and at 6 months pregnant I felt very emotional ! On my lunch break I checked my emails and low and behold I'd finally won something again!! And it was the best thing ever !! A baby gift hamper filled with toiletries, blankets and a beautiful fabric bouquet made out of baby clothes worth £250!!! I was so chuffed !!! It really cheered me up and has spurred me on to keep going ! Never give up beacuse your winnings are just around the corner and they always come when you least expect it !! Needless to say my afternoon at work was much more enjoyable knowing I had my prize waiting for me when I got home !!
