Matt Cockayne is an artist whose shop has recently opened in Hasland. He creates dynamic artwork that shows local scenes, giving a real sense of that Chesterfield Pride! You can visit his shop throughout the week from Mondays – Saturdays to get a sense of his brilliant creations, and with so many pieces to choose from you’ll probably find you’ve created a gallery wall in no time!
StraightCurves is a firm favourite in Chesterfield for children and adults alike, with its huge range of exciting arts and crafts workshops. The hand and footprints* make popular gifts and the winner of their prize will not only be sorted for Father’s Day, but will also enjoy the experience of creating it! Enjoy a cuppa while choosing the background for your print. Your child’s prints will be taken by gently pressing their hand or foot into Jumping Clay for around 10 seconds. Leave it with the team to dry and be framed and it will be ready for pick up on a date to suit you (normally within one week).
