Warmer weather is on the way and likewise returning to mark the occasion is another fantastic reader competition, courtesy of Freewheel and Ridgeback. Our readers are now invited to enter a competition to win a Ridgeback Advance 3 e-bike, right here on Cycling Electric.
Representing almost double the value of the wonderful Ridgeback Errand electric bike we gave away last year, the Advance 3 is your ticket to weekends cycling by the river and during the working week, a ticket to saving big on train fares, much thanks to the high utility offered by the pannier racking that comes as standard on both the standard and low-stepover framed builds.
This latest generation bike is a considered electric bike that leaves few stones unturned for the city commuter. There’s a rear wheel lock built on to the frame so you’re never without at least some theft prevention. There’s also wired in lighting at the front and rear, though you needn’t worry about that draining too much of the quite respectable 504Wh battery that sleekly sits inside the frame’s downtube.
Powered by Shimano’s STEPS E6100 pedal assist mid-motor, which paired to the aforementioned battery will gain you up to 75 miles of assistance, this electric bike is one we’d be glad to add to our own e-bike collection and now it’s yours to win simply by answering one simple question.
Furthermore, if you’d like to try Ridgeback’s electric bike range, for the Easter weekend we have an exclusive reader discount applicable to our April 28th Demo Days event at the Lee Valley Velopark. If you’d like to try this electric bike and numerous others from leading brands in the pedal-assist space, enter the code EASTERFLASHDEMO at www.cyclingelectricdemodays.com. With this you’ll be able to ride all day, on as many e-bikes as you like, for just £10.
All you need to do to enter to win this fantastic e-bike is follow the below link and answer our quiz question:

Where can I buy Ridgeback electric bikes?
What is Freewheel? Well, there’s nothing quite like the knowledge, reliability and customer experience of a great local bike shop. In an age where it’s getting harder to run a bricks and mortar store, Freewheel is the platform that lets shops thrive while giving you the benefits of online shopping.
When you shop on Freewheel, you can order a product and have it delivered to an extensive network of authorised shops, where you can make the most of the expertise of the staff on collection. Each purchase benefits your local store via a commission programme. You can find your local Freewheel store at freewheel.co.uk/stores.
Cycling Electric periodically runs giveaways, so keep your eyes peeled for more competitions in the future.
