On Facebook you could win a romantic trip to Paris with GlossyBox, £300 of menswear from Brook Taverner or tell DeVere Venues about your dream proposal to win a weekend away! On the Bella Italia Facebook page you can send a love message and be in with a chance of winning a spa break!
There are bound to be lots of fun competitions on Facebook in the run up to Valentine's Day, and many of them will have the same theme:
• tell us about your best/worst Valentine's Day
• tell us about a disastrous date
• leave a romantic message for your loved one
• write us a love poem
Don't shy away from these because they require a bit of effort - it will considerably reduce the number of entrants! Rather then jumping straight in and commenting with your entry, write it down first and the rewrite a couple of times so it's concise, witty and quirky (check your spelling too!). Then save a copy of it on your computer - as well as re-jigging it for several of this year's comps, you will have a copy handy for next year's Valentine's promotions too!
