After entering lots of competitions over the last couple of months and being unsuccessful I finally have a win to celebrate!

I entered a competition to win £50 of Wagamama vouchers to help celebrate the opening of a new restaurant in Edinburgh and was delighted when I got an email telling me that I had won!!

I love Japanese food and can't wait to go and have a slap up meal all thanks to prizefinder!!

I love prizefinder - the format is so easy to use and the competition tracker is so easy to use - give it a try!

I've just received an email to say I've won 1st Prize - £3,000 Virgin Holiday Vouchers in a photo competition with Phileas Plug, Leisure Sinks Competition. I've been doing this now for 3 months and my very first prize happens to be a major one. Couldn't ask for more.

  • I can't imagine another competition win living up to this!

I've been comping for about two years now and over that time I've won approx £10,000 of prizes. I used to have a minor gambling addiction and comping has really helped me overcome this - as I still get the same buzz from winning but I haven't spent any of my own money in the process - only time!

I've won lots of great prizes, ranging from small things (like free bread and nuts!), medium prizes (like DAB radio, shoes, dresses) to larger things (£1000 B&Q voucher, Cotswold's break) but my best win to date came in March this year - a holiday of a lifetime to LA - staying in the Four Seasons, Beverly Wilshire where Pretty Woman was filmed! All travel and accommodation costs were included plus spending money. The competition was a random email prize draw with Picturehouse cinemas that I found on theprizefinder.com. Ever since I found out I'd won I planned to take the trip for my birthday this month. I'd literally been counting down the days! I got back last week and had the most amazing time - which was topped off with my boyfriend proposing on the steps of Rodeo Drive!

There is no way we could ever afford such a luxurious holiday, so it really was unforgettable!

Thank you so much for all your hard work... and now I get to enter all the wedding comps!!

I joined ThePrizeFinder on the 14th of October 2013. I was thinking mmmmm do you ever win prizes, well I entered a couple to see how I get on. To my surprise I woke up to an email saying I was the runner up for a Del Monte comp on Facebook and I had won a cookbook.

I couldn't believe it, I had only joined yesterday.

Eagerly awaiting my prize, and many more to come hopefully.

    Thx Prizefinder.

  • Giving My Wins Away

A couple of months ago I won a £400 holiday with Bluestone to stop in their lodge for a week. Unfortunately I was unable to go so I gave my holiday to a comping friend who hasn't been away for a long time. She had an amazing time even sending me a thank you card and to my surprise I won the same holiday again this week but unfortunately again I couldn't take the holiday as it was mid week and the school threatened to take me to court for a £400 fine for taking my kids out of school, so I offered the prize to my mum ... she arrived this morning and just came of the phone to her. She's in bliss loving every moment of it there and says the lodges are massive and very welcoming. I love winning prizes but also giving them to friends and loved ones is still fantastic. I've probably given thousands of pounds worth away over the years and happy I can put smiles on their faces!

I started comping in Feb this year and finally won a 75th Nescafe Anniversary mug in June.

Not had a sausage since but at the end of September I won on Ecover spin and win daily comp.

Today I received my delicate hand wash liquid prize.

Thank you Ecover and ThePrizefinder it's "such fun" winning.

I have been comping for a couple of years on and off but after having read about all the wonderful wins gained through this site I thought I would throw myself back into it properly this month and set myself a target of entering at least 50 competitions a day. Imagine my surprise when this approach paid off after only 8 days! I received an email informing me that I had won a Stylist competition for two signed copies of the new Bridget Diary book, a Bridget Jones chocolate bar and £200 worth of books too! I am now eagerly awaiting the arrival of the books as I am an avid reader and look forward to sharing my win with family and friends for Christmas.

I have been comping for about 2 years now and I am quite often successful in little wins. I was totally over the moon to receive a wem and phone call informing me that I had won a Samsung Galaxy S4, this is the biggest prize I have ever won. I am currently planning my wedding and very short on money so haven't been able to afford nice luxuries like this for quite a while. It will be treasured and every time I use it I shall be very grateful to the companies that run these wonderful free to enter competitions and is proof to me, friends and other compers out there that these competitions are real!

I'm one very happy comper just now!

  • On a roll?

I've been comping for about 6 months now, my first win was a pretty big one! Out of the blue a huge box came in the post, in it was a Slazenger tennis bundle! 2 Rackets, 2 sets of balls, a hold all and a backpack. It is worth over £300 in total!

That was 3 or 4 months ago now and since then my luck hasn't been in at all since..until this month! Nothing huge this time but a few good wins this month! First of all I managed to win a free nights stay at a Novotel Hotel of my choice in their Spin to Win instant. Then just a few days ago I got a Direct Message on Twitter from Dairylea to say I'd been one of their lucky winners for a prize of a £30 voucher for GAME! Hopefully I'm on a roll now and more wins will come my way!

I've won a steady stream of nice prizes this month, including a few months worth of tea and the rainforest alliance frog from Tetley! Strangely I've won prizes that include two mugs as well!.
My latest prizes have all been won by putting some form of effort into an entry and/or on social networks, so instagram pics, vines on twitter, pinterest etc.
A twitter competition from EE won me the Jamie Oliver book pictured, signed..although the mug and apron are pretty horrid!!
My highest value and most lovely prize this month is an iPad bag from Knomo, won from a simple repin. A prize I can't photograph is the £50 cash I won from Money supermarket on twitter, again for a creative photo challenge competition. I also won one of the top prizes for the National Lotterys monopolyinstants photo competition in September, which was AMAZING! I can't wait for that cheque to arrive!!

Put the effort in (as I know many of us on here do, because you see familiar names...Di...Kurt Geiger instagram comp ;)), but only enter comps you genuinely want to win the prizes from (or have a genuine need for the prize) I say. You won't win them all but you'll definitely see some prizes come your way.
