Meet Our Latest Winners!

I love a hamper win! This beauty is thanks to the J20 and Asda purchase competition. Both these companies are very generous with their prizes, and I always make a special effort for any of their competitions.
This was a buy and text competition. And I was very pleased to receive a winning phone. The call asked for my age, which led me to believe that there would be alcohol in the hamper. But when it came there was none, but something almost as expensive: a bottle of Olive Oil. The hamper is full of items from the ASDA extra special range, and it lives up to the name. I particularly like the Spanish Forest Honey and the Orange Blossom Honey. This is a treat hamper that we're going to be enjoying for months. The hamper itself is very nice quality, sturdy wicker with leather trimmings, which I'm sure I will make good use of, sometime down the line. And of course, let's not forget, a four pack of J20. All in all, one of the nicest hampers I've received. And I was lucky to be in the first batch of delivery. I believe that others are waiting. But it will be worth the wait.

In December I bought a box of Nescafé coffee sachets from Poundland, and entered their ‘purchase necessary’ competition which was to win a year’s supply of coffee. And at the beginning of January I received an email to say that I’d won! The prize arrived a few weeks later, which caused a lot of excitement as it was delivered in lots of big boxes - as the year’s supply is in the form of sachets! So we now have almost 800 sachets of coffee stored in our garage!! Brilliant prize and very funny! It’s definitely worth entering the purchase necessary competitions as I don’t think as many people enter them as normal online competitions.

As I was a tiny seventeen year old when we got engaged many years ago, my ring has been far to small for me to wear for a long time. My wedding ring was replaced when we renewed our vows to celebrate our Pearl Anniversary, but a replacement engagement ring has always been bottom of the list as we had other things to spend our money on as we brought up our family.
Thanks to Prize Finder, I noticed that a 'Daily Entry' magazine competition included a voucher for an Asteria Diamonds Jewellery shop and duly entered every day. Although other prizes were on offer, secretly I was hoping that my luck would be in for the chance to treat myself to a piece of jewellery.
I was absolutely thrilled to receive an email telling me that I had won. I picked my prize online, and at last a sparkler is on my finger for the first time in over forty years, and as we couldn't afford diamonds when we were young, settling for less expensive emeralds, the first diamond ring EVER!

For this competition I have won a £99 Buyagift Luxury escape Experience voucher. My plans are to use it for a night in Liverpool with a little sightseeing combined with some shopping. Competitions like this add a bit of luxury to day to day life.
Anytime I see competitions like this where you have to actually buy the product I know I stand a better chance of a win.
I have also won a Peppa pig toy this month. Lots more chances to win with Prizefinder so I am hopeful of more wins to come. The longer evenings are ideal for sitting by the fire and finding competitions to enter.

I felt a bit flat first thing in January and it took me awhile to find my comping mojo.
I love reading so originally concentrated on book giveaways. Later in the month I realised I had won three different book comps on Twitter. One came with a sweet treat of fudge, I will enjoy reading the books and giving reviews on them.
I found out I had won a Christmas Jumper from Warninks. I haven’t received it yet but I will probably put it away until December anyway!
My biggest win this month was today when I found out I had won a £500 beauty bundle from Freemans. I will share this with my daughter and daughter in law.

I only started comping properly in January 2022 and felt a bit daunted by the Advents in December! Using the Prizefinder Advent section really helped - I especially appreciated the comps being divided into the different entry methods. I just entered when I could - usually when watching TV in the evenings. I managed to win 4 Advent prizes in total - tickets for a NYE party at our local trampoline Park on FB, a 2 night stay in Yorshire through a web entry, an Aperol Spritz goody bag and these 2 books via Instagram. I was really happy to get an email from the Primary Times Edinburgh telling me I had won a bundle of The Batch Lady cookbooks! Lots of great recipes and tips and hints,and instructions about cooking and freezing meals in batches, so that you can cook when you want to and not when you need to! One of the books is about cooking on a budget, very useful in these difficult times of rising food prices. Really happy to have won! My daughter has them at the moment and is also finding them to be really handy and very interesting.

I entered a competition on Instagram run by a shopping centre not too far away. It was to win 4 tickets to my Fair Lady on tour. It was such a lovey surprise to find out I had won. I love the film but had never seen the stage show. We all enjoyed it and we had great seats. A lovely family evening out that has brightened our January. Going to the theatre as a family is an expensive treat so it was lovely for my daughters to have this experience. My youngest struggled a bit with the late night but as it was a Saturday she had a good lie in on Sunday !

I was lucky enough to find this Advent comp on the Prizefinder and it was a text comp. I was just leaving for work to walk home when a ping came in and it was a winning text message telling me I had won a Bonne Maman Advent Calendar.

I was delighted with it when it arrived, beautifully packaged, and full of delightful pots of wonderfully flavoured jams, marmalades and conserves which were great with my breakfast in the run-up to Crhistmas. There was an added bonus of a jam spoon on Day 1 and a little tea light holder on Day 24. Very nice! I have never won an Advent Calendar before and this was a highly luxurious one so thank you Prizefinder!

I've just had a great December/January! A £10 Morrisons voucher, a Kindle Fire HD 64GB, a £100 Beefeater voucher, a National Trust hamper bought with prize vouchers, £250 from Walkers Crisps hourly prize draw & to top it all £1000 from Mastercard! I couldn't believe it when I got a notification text from my bank to say the money had gone into my account - it was the first I'd heard about it! An email arrived a day or two later. The best thing is I can share my winnings and goodies - in fact I'm treating my daughter and her fiancé to lunch today with the Beefeater vouchers. I absolutely love this hobby!
